Manhattan.

The air froze.

When Zombie Thanos stepped fully through the rift — rotting, stinking, the Infinity Gauntlet blazing with five Stones on his left hand — the pressure wasn't physical. It was existential.

Unlike the main universe's Thanos, who'd fought for a philosophy, this one had no grand ideal. No "balance." No destiny. Just the primitive desire to feed — amplified by five cosmic artifacts.

"It's over..." Strange whispered, face white. One Stone could destroy a planet. Five, in the hands of a mindless zombie — a universal catastrophe.

"ROAR——!"

Zombie Thanos's remaining eye locked onto Way Big. Biggest target. Greatest threat. Simple calculus for a simple brain.

No dialogue. No probing.

He raised the Gauntlet. Power Stone and Space Stone blazed simultaneously — two fundamental laws of the universe forcibly merged, shattering the surrounding space into a violent vacuum.

BOOM!

A purple-blue beam — ten meters in diameter, carrying planet-piercing force — erupted from the Gauntlet.

Where it passed, no sound existed. The medium for sound had been evaporated.

"GET OUT OF THE WAY!!" Strange screamed.

Way Big was too large. At this range, against a Space Stone-guided beam, he was a living target—

Jake didn't dodge.

He faced the blinding light and smiled.

"Too big to dodge? Then I'll switch to something that can eat it."

WHOOSH——!

The hundred-meter giant became green light — and shrank.

The purple-blue beam struck where Way Big had been standing. Nothing there.

In his place: 1.9 meters tall. Pitch black. Plug-shaped antennae on head and tail. Golden plug-tips on every finger.

Feedback.

"Is he CRAZY?!" Spider-Man's eyes nearly left his skull. Facing a planet-killing beam — he'd transformed into something human-sized?

The beam hit Feedback.

No explosion. No gore. No crater.

Jake spread his hands. The metal plugs at his fingertips caught the beam — and pulled.

Purple-blue energy — the combined output of Power and Space Stones — flowed into Jake's body the way a hundred rivers join the sea. His conductive lines blazed white. The energy converted, compressed, stored.

"Tastes good. Bit spicy."

If Feedback could absorb a Big Bang, then two Infinity Stones were a hearty buffet. Nothing more.

On Zombie Thanos's rotting face — for the first time — something almost human flickered. Astonishment. He couldn't process why his strongest attack was being eaten by something the size of an ant.

Five seconds. The beam ran dry. Completely absorbed.

Jake stood wreathed in purple-blue and green lightning — space warping around him from the sheer energy contained in his body.

"That all?"

Both antennae erupted with terrifying energy signatures. Plug-tips aimed at Zombie Thanos.

"I'm full. Returning it — with interest."

BOOM——!!!

Hands thrust forward. A mixed energy beam — twice the original diameter, exponentially amplified — erupted from Jake's fingertips.

Too fast for the Space Stone to teleport.

Zombie Thanos raised the Gauntlet to block—

BANG!

The amplified beam engulfed his massive body. The sky split in two.

"ROAR!!!"

Even a pain-immune zombie screamed under absolute energy destruction.

The light cleared.

A massive, tattered purple body slammed onto the devastated street.

Silence.

Strange collapsed to his knees, gasping. Staring.

Zombie Thanos's right side — shoulder, arm, and half his head — had been evaporated. Not blown apart. Not torn off. Turned to carbon ash crystallized by extreme heat.

[Doctor Strange — shocked! +20,000!]

[Spider-Man — shocked! +15,000!]

[Hidden achievement: Return to Sender! +30,000!]

Jake shook out his hands. Stepped toward the body.

The undamaged Gauntlet rested on Zombie Thanos's remaining left hand. Five Stones — intact, glowing, waiting to be claimed.

Jake moved to pry them free—

Ten meters away.

"Click... click..."

Bone friction. Faint. Unmistakable.

Zombie Thanos's left thumb twitched.

HUM——

The Time Stone — green, deep, ancient — blazed to life on the Gauntlet's thumb joint.

The air reversed.

Carbon ash stopped falling — and rose. Shattered bone fragments flew upward. Evaporated flesh reconstituted, flowing backward, reassembling at visible speed.

Zombie Thanos's destroyed half — regrowing under the power of time itself.

The dead weren't staying dead.
