"Whyyyy!!!!" The voice spread all over the hostel at night. Izumi, third year highschool student, was talking with his parents who were living far away from his hometown.
He was living with his family till his second year of highschool and was sent back to his hometown by his own request. He was going to pass out his third year of highschool in one and half months and after that he wanted to meet his parents and live with them until his vacation ends and his fourth year starts.
His parents, especially his father, Mr. Stephen, denied to Izumi's request. He told," I would not get any leave to come there and pick you up and you're so young that you cannot come here by yourself alone. So, you're not coming on your vacation. You're gonna stay with your grandfather on your vacation". Izumi got disappointed and hanged the call.

On the next day at school, his friend Mark saw Izumi a bit different than usual. Izumi was depressed about what has happened the last night. At lunch break, Mark came to call Izumi to eat lunch with himfrom the canteen but Izumi replied that he was not hungry. Mark took him somewhere less crowded and asked," Anything bothering you? I haven't seen you like this before".
By hearing this, Izumi told,"Yesterday, I had talked with my parents about meeting them but the told me to stay with my grandfather. Mark then tried to convince him to obey his parents but Izumi kept ignoring him which made Mark angry and he asked,"What is the problem with you? Why are you not willing to live with your grandfather? Is there any problem, huh?The atmosphere became silent. Izumi took a long breathe and told his real reason.
"I love a girl who's going to come to the place where my parents are working and I have to confess my love to her".
Mark became silent for a moment. He had not expected a reply like that.
But then he noticed that Izumi had told that the girl he loves was going to that place but he had not told about her name, class or where she was currently living. He then asked about that to Izumi.
Izumi told," She's here, in this city.
She's a second year highschool student and would leave this city after one and half month." Then suddenly, Mark asked," Can't you just confess your love by just meeting her before she leaves?" Izumi replied that he can't meet her because he had forgotten where she lived in that city. Then a question came from behind Izumi," Are you guys done chatting?" It was his friend Ken who had came. The lunch break was over and no one had noticed the time.

After reaching his room, Izumi had noticed that his grandfather, Mr. Steven had tried to call him on phone. He then suddenly remembered that his father had told his that he could not come alone because of his age but he also had meant that he could come if he had an elder with him.
He then called Mark and told," Iwould not be coming to school for some days. I will be going to visit my grandfather." Mark told," I don't know what you have on your mind but still...all the best!" After the talk,Izumi then wore his jacket and went out to the supermarket to buy food for tomorrow.
On the next day, Izumi woke up early in the morning at 5AM before anyone in the hostel. He then went to bath and after that he had made food by himself because the canteen would only open after 7 AM. He then packed his bag with his important books and some clothes. He then called a taxi and went to meet his grandfather.
Mr. Steven was living living with his elder son, Mr. Stephen and his family near the University. He was sent back to his hometown to live with his younger son, Mr. Steve and his family because of his health issues. And a year later, Izumi came.
When he reached there, he saw his grandfather watering the plants. Grandfather saw him."It's been a long time, hasn't it?" Izumi smiled and replied," yeah! Look I'm a bit taller than I was before". Grandpa noticed it and smiled.
They went inside and grandpa went to the kitchen and came with tea for them. Izumi asked," Where are the others?" Grandpa replied that the kids had went to school and your uncle and aunt had went to work. They talked for hours until the kids came back from school. Izumi gave them the chocolates he had bought from the supermarket last night. And then he went to study and slept.
He had many responsibilities that he had been studying at the hostel without break every day and night. On the next day, he woke up late. When he went to the kitchen and saw his aunt who had made breakfast for him and others. It was a weekend so no one had to go anywhere.
He talked with his aunt and uncle for some time and then went to see his grandpa. He went to grandpa's room. His grandpa asked to sit beside him. Izumi sat beside him and asked," Grandpa , I came here to ask a favour from you". "What is it?", his grandpa asked. Izumi told that he wants to go and meet his parents but his parents were denying his request. He told," I can only go only if an elder is with me and I want you to come".
His grandpa thought for a moment and told," Izumi, I'm old now. As you know, I can't come with you since I have problem while walking for long period of time and travelling would be more harder for me. I wish you had an elder brother".
Izumi became sad for a moment but then something struck on his mind. "Elder brother... Yess!! Grandpa, do you still have Goutham's phone number?"
"Well.., that's a good idea. I can give you his number." Grandpa gave Izumi the phone number and Izumi went back to his room.
Izumi called Goutham, his cousin brother who was studying his final year.
"Hey, it's been a long time since we had talked to each other, right?" Izumi asked. " Two years". Goutham replied. Izumi was very confident. He came to the point and asked," Wanna come with me to meet our parents,huh?"
"No!" Goutham replied. "You're joking, aren't you?". "No, I'm serious. I have plans here after finishing my final year."
"But still..." Goutham hanged the call.
Goutham was feeling guilty. "I think I was a little bit harsh with him". Goutham thought but then he heard a voice from behind," you should go, you haven't met your parents since you came here". It was his grandmother who was there the whole time.
Goutham kept thinking about whether he should go or not and then he remembered Selena, the girl who he had a crush on. He wanted to confess his love to his but had failed before coming to his hometown.
He then called Izumi and told," I'm coming, just tell me when you books your ticket for the trip".
