Chapter 33 - Wait—The Protagonist Isn’t Here Yet, and It’s Already the Finale?!

Not far away, a pair of slender, pale feet swung lazily atop a towering piece of machinery.

Nearby, a long-legged, rather suspicious-looking uncle stared ahead with a complicated expression.

"I'm serious, Sparkle—don't you think the script went completely off the rails the moment you showed up?"

"The Nameless haven't even arrived yet, and this is already turning into the finale?"

Sampo rubbed his temples, utterly helpless as he complained about the scene unfolding before them.

Wasn't the pacing a bit too fast?

So fast that even after revising his script countless times, these two—

No, to be precise, Seele didn't count—

—were acting in ways that completely ignored his carefully prepared plot.

"Ah~ how can you blame Lady Sparkle for that?"

"The great Sparkle merely added a few delightful side episodes to your story, that's all."

"Look, this little black-haired guy works fast, doesn't he?"

"As for the gray-haired one, the pink-haired one, and that cold-faced little azure dragon you were waiting for—"

"See? They're already here~"

Sparkle hopped down from the high platform, clear bell-like chimes ringing by her ears.

She bounced off cheerfully toward the trio from the train.

As for Sampo—

He remained on the platform, gazing toward Everwinter Ridge in the distance.

"A Pathwalker of Erudition…"

"This power hasn't reached Emanator-level yet, but it's not inferior in the slightest."

"And that reconstruction ability…"

"Nous and the Genius Society really struck gold this time."

Everwinter Ridge — Summit

The birthplace of catastrophe.

And the site where eternity would finally end.

"Looks like I underestimated it."

"Forty-eight Moonlight Thrones still aren't enough!"

"Authority of Heaven—Reconstruction!"

"Moonlight Thrones—Increase again!"

The moment his words fell—

A terrifying pressure descended.

In the blink of an eye, at least a thousand Moonlight Thrones enveloped the summit of Everwinter Ridge.

Under this crushing presence and absolute firepower—

Any Fragmentum creature that dared to poke its head out hadn't even finished emerging before being locked onto by multiple Moonlight Thrones.

Then—

They shattered.

Disintegrated.

Erased into nothingness.

"This…!"

"How is this possible…!"

"How can you possess such power?!"

"What is this power?!"

The Mother of Deception—Cocolia stood atop the Engine of Creation, staring at the sky filled with Moonlight Thrones.

As her gaze locked onto Evan, a horrifying realization surfaced in her mind.

"You—you're not from this world!"

"You're not one of those underworld scavengers!"

"You're from the stars!"

"You're a lackey of the IPC—or one of those Nameless!"

At that exact moment—

Somewhere in deep space, Pom-Pom, who was mopping the Astral Express, suddenly sneezed.

And on a distant planet far beyond—

A man codenamed Diamond paused, rubbed his nose, and glanced at the data report in his hands.

"Embrace me. Accept our power."

"He may be an envoy of Erudition, but even so—he is not our match."

"Do not be afraid."

"The new world… is calling to you."

Sensing hesitation and fear in its host, the Stellaron whispered again.

Under the targeting of thousands of Moonlight Thrones and Imaginary cannons—

Who wouldn't feel fear?

"Yes! The Stellaron—its power!"

"I am the ruler of the new world!"

"For the new Belobog! For the new Jarilo-VI!"

"I will not stop here!"

The Stellaron's energy surged fully into Cocolia's body!

The colossal mechanical construct raised its iron fist and slammed it forward!

Seele and Bronya's expressions tightened.

The thousand Moonlight Thrones finished charging—

And fired.

Since ancient times, beam clashes favored the right side—

Except for that one guy named Dyna.

Thousands of Imaginary-powered Moonlight Thrones unleashed their fire simultaneously—

All aimed at the Mother of Deception who had embraced the Stellaron.

A vast torrent of Imaginary energy collided head-on with the Stellaron itself!

The shockwave nearly knocked Seele and Bronya off their feet!

Yes—

One side wielded Moonlight Thrones backed by a limitless "power bank."

The other—

A newborn god of the new world, empowered by a Stellaron.

They clashed atop the mountain peak.

Outside Everwinter Ridge

As the massive energy collision erupted at the summit, the entire Everwinter Ridge began to tremble violently!

March 7th, Stelle, and Dan Heng carefully made their way through Fragmentum zones.

Whenever a Fragmentum creature appeared—

They would see one, sometimes several, futuristic charged cannons instantly erase it.

Those cannons showed no hostility toward them.

Their sole targets were the invading Fragmentum beings.

"Boom—!"

A thunderous explosion echoed.

The sheer force of the clash left the trio shaken.

"Someone is actually fighting the Stellaron head-on!"

"That's insane!"

March 7th couldn't help exclaiming.

"…Yes. Very strong."

Even Dan Heng voiced his agreement.

Only Stelle—

Only she stared blankly at the violent explosions and mountain tremors coming from Everwinter Ridge.

Then she spoke, utterly baffled.

"Wait…"

"This is supposed to be my first Trailblaze, right…?"

"As the protagonist…"

"I haven't even arrived yet—and it's already ending?"
