Jarek choked, his hands gripping Cassian's massive wrist as the steel of his armor began to crush against his throat. "She... she was dying here, Cassian," Jarek rasped out, his voice thick with blood. "You are... a monster. You only know... how to build cages. She would have withered into... nothing."
"Then she would have withered as mine," Cassian growled, his voice dropping into a dark, terrifying register that shook the very foundations of the mountain.

With a sudden, brutal twist of his hand, Cassian did not use a weapon. His sharp, dark fingernails sliced through the thick steel plates of Jarek's chest armor as if it were soft paper, burying his hand deep into the warrior's chest core.
Jarek's eyes went wide, a single, heavy gasp escaping his lips before his head dropped forward, his body going completely limp in the Cassian's grip.
