Chapter 74 - Chapter 74 - The Edge of Collapse

The battlefield between Earth and the Moon had turned into a silent graveyard of shattered stone and drifting fragments of light.

The Moon's pale surface was cracked in dozens of places, massive craters spreading outward like scars. Energy storms rippled across the black sky where the vacuum itself trembled from the intensity of the battle.

At the center of the destruction stood Diana.

Her silver hair floated like threads of moonlight, her eyes glowing with cold power. The lunar energy surrounding her pulsed like a living force, bending gravity and space around her.

Not far away, Wang was barely standing.

His breathing was heavy. Blood drifted slowly in the low gravity, forming dark red droplets that floated around him before falling onto the white lunar dust.

Every muscle in his body screamed in pain.

Diana's power was overwhelming.

Across from her, another figure stepped forward.

Lance Poll.

His coat fluttered slightly despite the silent vacuum, and his sharp eyes remained locked on Diana.

He glanced briefly toward Wang.

"Take a breath," Lance said calmly. "You've done enough."

Wang clenched his fists.

"I'm… not finished."

But his legs betrayed him slightly.

Diana's cold gaze shifted toward Lance.

"So another insect arrives."

Her voice echoed unnaturally through the battlefield, carried by her energy.

Lance smiled faintly.

"Maybe."

A sudden pulse of lunar gravity exploded outward.

Diana vanished.

BOOM.

She reappeared directly in front of Lance, her fist already descending.

The strike carried enough force to split mountains.

But Lance moved.

CLANG!

A blade of compressed energy formed in his hand as he blocked the attack. The shockwave rippled across the Moon's surface, sending cracks racing outward.

The ground shattered beneath them.

Lance slid backward several meters, boots grinding against lunar rock.

"Not bad," he muttered.

Diana tilted her head slightly.

Then she attacked again.

This time faster.

Her movements became streaks of silver light, each strike carrying terrifying force.

BOOM

BOOM

BOOM

Lance blocked, dodged, and countered.

His fighting style was precise—minimal movements, perfect timing.

Yet even he was slowly being pushed back.

Diana's power was growing stronger with every second.

"You cannot win," she said coldly.

She lifted one hand.

The sky above them warped.

A massive spear of lunar energy formed—hundreds of meters long.

Then it fell.

Lance's eyes widened slightly.

"Seriously?"

He slammed both hands forward.

"VECTOR SHIFT!"

The space around him twisted violently.

The spear struck—

—but its trajectory bent at the last moment, slamming into the lunar surface far behind him.

A colossal explosion erupted.

The shockwave sent clouds of moon dust into space.

But Diana was already moving again.

She appeared behind Lance.

CRASH!

Her kick slammed into his side, launching him across the battlefield like a meteor.

Lance smashed through a ridge of lunar rock before finally stopping.

He coughed, blood drifting from his mouth.

"…Okay," he groaned. "That one hurt."

Across the battlefield, Wang forced himself upright.

His vision was blurry.

His body trembled.

But he watched the fight.

Lance had come to help him.

And now Lance was the one struggling.

Diana descended slowly from the sky, her silver aura blazing.

"You are merely delaying the inevitable."

Lance wiped blood from his mouth and stood again.

"Yeah," he admitted.

He raised his hand again.

"But that was the point."

Diana frowned slightly.

Then Lance grinned.

"Keeping you busy."

Diana suddenly sensed it.

Energy.

Behind her.

Wang.

His breathing was still heavy—but something had changed.

The air around him had become heavier.

Invisible pressure slowly began to expand outward.

The lunar dust around his feet began to sink into the ground.

Diana's eyes narrowed.

"...Interesting."

Wang slowly raised his head.

His eyes burned with determination.

"I'm not… done yet."

The invisible force around him intensified.

CRACK.

The ground beneath him compressed as if crushed by an unseen weight.

Lance exhaled in relief.

"Finally."

Diana turned fully toward Wang.

"So you stand again."

Wang stepped forward.

Each step left deep impressions in the lunar surface.

The pressure field around him continued expanding.

"Lance," Wang said quietly.

"Thanks."

Lance smirked.

"Don't thank me yet."

Diana's aura flared brighter.

The Moon itself seemed to respond to her power.

"Then come," she said.

"Both of you."

Her hands lifted.

A storm of lunar energy erupted across the battlefield.

Wang clenched his fists.

His crushing pressure expanded violently.

The battlefield trembled.

Lance raised his energy blade again.

And for the first time since the battle began—

Diana faced two opponents ready to fight at full strength.

The Moon shook beneath them.

And the battle was far from over. 🔥
