Chapter 71 - Chapter 71 - Clash of Titans

The battlefield was littered with cracks and scorched earth. Smoke curled from the devastation of the previous fights. Asher Ashborne stood in the center, his chest heaving, veins pulsing with Crushing Pressure. His body was battered, bruised, and drenched in sweat, yet his eyes burned with unyielding determination.

Opposite him stood Lord, his presence radiating a chilling aura. Shadows seemed to coil around him, bending the very air, his energy vibrating with a deadly hum. This was no ordinary fight. Every clash between them sent shockwaves rippling through the ruined terrain.

Lord's voice echoed across the battlefield. "You've improved, Asher. But you still lack control."

Asher gritted his teeth, his hands glowing with invisible pressure. He launched forward. "I won't lose!"

BOOM!

The ground shook as Asher's fist collided with Lord's dark energy shield. Rocks shattered, dust clouded the air, and the sheer force of their collision sent a wave of compressed air outward, flattening the surrounding terrain.

Lord responded with a swing of his arm, a black vortex swirling around it. "You're reckless!"

The attack slammed into Asher, sending him flying several meters back. He hit the ground with a thunderous crash, leaving a crater where he landed. The wind rushed from the impact, tearing at the remnants of debris around them.

Asher struggled to his feet, his body trembling but his will unbroken. He extended his arms, creating a massive Crushing Pressure field around him. The air thickened, compressing everything in its path. Trees groaned and shattered, the earth groaned under the immense force.

Lord grinned. "Clever. But not clever enough."

He leaped high into the air, then descended like a meteor. His fist collided with Asher's chest. The impact was colossal. A shockwave erupted, sending Asher skidding across the battlefield, leaving deep gouges in the earth. Every muscle in his body screamed in pain.

Asher's vision blurred. Blood trickled down his lips. Yet, he clenched his fists and rose once more. His aura flared, invisible waves of force rippling outward, shaking the debris like a violent storm. "I'm not finished!" he roared.

For minutes, they exchanged a brutal sequence of blows—pressure waves colliding, energy blasts shattering the terrain, and sheer force bending reality around them. Asher's Crushing Pressure clashed against Lord's dark manipulations, creating explosions that could be seen for miles.

Despite his efforts, Lord began gaining the upper hand. His attacks became faster, more precise, and merciless. With a spinning strike, he sent Asher crashing into a mountain of rubble. The rocks splintered and exploded under the force.

Lord hovered above him, energy coiling around his fists. "End of the line, Ashborne."

He descended with a crushing blow aimed directly at Asher's chest. The air hissed and compressed violently under the sheer force. Asher's vision narrowed, the world slowing as the impact approached.

But suddenly—

WHOOSH!

A figure darted into the path of the strike. Wang appeared in an instant, his aura shimmering as he deflected Lord's blow with a bright, shimmering shield. The force sent Wang flying backward, but the strike never touched Asher.

Lord's eyes widened. "Wang?!"

Before anyone could react, Lord screamed into the sky. "DIANA!"

The heavens split as a radiant light pierced the darkness. A towering figure appeared upon the moon, her presence regal and terrifying. Diana descended with unmatched speed, her eyes glowing with celestial energy.

Wang's gaze hardened. "Looks like it's your turn."

He leaped toward Diana, leaving a streak of energy across the night sky. The two collided midair with explosive force, sending shockwaves across the battlefield.

Diana's attacks were swift, precise, and overwhelmingly powerful. She struck with beams of lunar energy, arcs of pure light, and bursts of gravitational force that bent the surrounding terrain. Wang barely managed to dodge, counter, and block, his aura flaring in brilliant bursts of energy.

The two titans clashed above the battlefield, their movements a blur of light and force. Wang unleashed a series of rapid strikes, his hands glowing with concentrated energy, each punch generating waves that shattered the nearby debris. Diana responded in kind, her lunar-infused strikes breaking the flow of his attacks and forcing him to retreat step by step.

"Impossible…" Wang muttered, sweat dripping down his brow. Every strike from Diana felt like it could shatter mountains. Yet he pressed on, determined not to fall.

Meanwhile, Lord's attention had shifted. With Diana distracted in the moonlit sky, he turned back to Asher. A cruel smile formed on his lips. "Now, it's really over for you."

He struck with a devastating combination—shadow blades materializing and slicing through the air with lethal precision. Asher, already weakened, tried to defend himself, but the sheer speed and coordination of the strikes were overwhelming.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The blows hammered Asher mercilessly, each one sending him crashing into the earth. Rocks crumbled, dust exploded, and the battlefield shook as if the planet itself was trembling under the pressure. Asher's strength waned; his vision blurred.

Above, Diana continued her fight with Wang, but Lord's intervention ensured that every attempt Asher made to rise was met with punishment. He unleashed a final, bone-crushing blow aimed at Asher's torso.

Asher barely managed to roll aside, but the strike grazed him, opening a deep gash. Blood mixed with dust, staining his clothes and skin. He coughed, tasting metal in his mouth, yet his spirit refused to break.

"Not… yet…" he muttered, staggering to his knees. His Crushing Pressure flared once more, waves rippling outward, but the combined forces of Lord and Diana made the air itself almost unbreathable.

Lord hovered above, the cruel smile still on his face. "You fought well… but even your strength cannot stand against the two of us."

Diana descended with a sweeping arc of lunar energy, her strike aiming directly at Asher. Wang tried to intercept, but Diana's speed was unmatched. The battlefield erupted in light and darkness, pressure and force, as Asher struggled under the combined might of his enemies.

For a moment, time seemed to freeze. Asher looked up at the two figures dominating the sky—Lord's oppressive shadow and Diana's radiant moonlight. He knew he was outmatched… yet something in his chest refused to surrender.

The ground trembled, energy surged, and the night was alive with chaos. The fight had become more than just a battle—it was a collision of powers beyond comprehension, a war of titans where every strike could shape the fate of those who stood below.

And yet, despite the pain, the blood, and the overwhelming odds, Asher's eyes burned. He was beaten—but not broken.

The night was far from over.
