Jenna stirred awake. The sky above her was dark and starry. The leaves on the tree beside her danced to the soft wind. The grass below her was soft and lush.
Is this what heaven looks like?
It cannot be this plain and boring.
I object!
She turned her head, and the pond came into view.
Jenna frowned.
Then blinked.
The fountain running into the pond like a waterfall, the curved bridge… That looked painfully familiar.
Suddenly, it struck. Her eyes widened!
She was in her space!
She jerked up, immediately regretting it as she recalled all the injuries she'd sustained, thinking she'd drop back in pain. But the pain never came.
She looked at her hands, her wrist was perfectly fine. She ran her hands over her body – stomach, shoulder, chest. All healed.
She grinned, rose from the grass and jumped, spreading her arms and twirling in circles as she embraced the wind.
It was good to be alive!
