Shizuka, hiding inside the blanket, slowly peeked her head out and whispered softly, "Hiroshi, can we really obtain the silver set smoothly tomorrow?"
She twisted the hem of her clothes nervously and stared at the stars in the night sky with worried eyes.
There were many kinds of swordsmen.
If someone with bad intentions obtained the silver set, would she really have to marry such a person in the future?
The surroundings became quiet except for the crackling sound of the bonfire.
After waiting for a while without a reply, she turned slightly and called again, "Hiroshi?"
The young man beside her had already fallen asleep, and his chin was resting lightly against her chest.

She turned over quietly and slowly closed her eyes as well.
Morning soon arrived.

After that, he walked toward a nearby fruit tree, took out his short bow, pulled the string, aimed at several bright red fruits, and shot them down with arrows.
The fruits fell neatly into his cloak.
Shizuka took a bite of one fruit and immediately squeezed her eyes shut as she said, "This is sour and sweet but tastes very strange. I can only eat one."
It seemed the fruit was not very delicious.
Hiroshi quietly threw the fruit he was holding into the bushes.

As they approached a crossroads, a sorrowful beast's cry suddenly echoed from the forest.
Hiroshi and Shizuka immediately became alert and slowly placed their hands on their sword hilts.
They carefully pushed aside thorny branches and moved closer.
They originally thought it was a dangerous beast, but instead they found a small bear cub sitting on the ground with its paw trapped in a hunting trap.
Hiroshi looked at it and said quietly with interest, "It looks like we could have bear paw for dinner."
He had never eaten such a rare wild delicacy before, so encountering it now felt like a pleasant surprise.
Shizuka hurried over and asked, "Hiroshi, did you find anything?"
Hiroshi pointed at the bear cub and replied, "There is no danger here, Bilyu. It is only a harmless little bear."
He paused briefly and then added, "Let us bandage it."
Instead of being forced to release it later, he decided to help it immediately.
He crouched down, inserted his dagger into the trap mechanism, and forced it open.
After hearing his voice, the bear cub stopped struggling and looked at him curiously.
Hiroshi sprinkled white powder on the wound and carefully wrapped the injured paw with a handkerchief.
He gently stroked the cub's head and said softly, "Hurry and leave this place. Do not fall into another trap again."
Then he whispered reluctantly, "Take care of yourself. Goodbye, delicious bear paw."
The little bear did not leave immediately after being freed. It looked at Hiroshi quietly for a while before finally running off into the forest.
Shizuka watched everything and said softly with admiration, "Hiroshi is truly a gentle person."
In her heart, his image improved even more.
She even began hoping that Hiroshi might be the one chosen by the silver set.
Realizing what she was thinking, she suddenly clutched her chest in embarrassment.
At that moment, a large man rushed toward them angrily and shouted, "You two hateful people, how dare you release my prey."
Hiroshi turned calmly and said in surprise, "Gian?"
The man who appeared looked exactly like Gian and was wearing rough armor with a badly colored helmet.
He proudly pointed at himself and declared loudly, "What Gian? I am Jatos, the Silver Swordsman who can defeat ten thousand enemies."
However, because he ran too fast and could not stop in time, he crashed directly into a tree and ended up with a nosebleed.
Seeing this, Shizuka covered her mouth and laughed softly as she said, "How shameless. With that appearance, he still calls himself a Silver Swordsman."
Jatos immediately became furious and shouted, "Hey you brat, how dare you laugh at me."
He drew his sword and attacked Shizuka.
Startled by his fierce expression, she quickly hid behind Hiroshi and said nervously, "I am sorry, I did not mean to laugh. Hiroshi, please help me."
However, Hiroshi did not step forward to fight for her.
Instead, he gently pushed her forward and said calmly, "Come on, Bilyu. I believe you can defeat him with your own strength."
He then stepped aside and watched carefully.
If this was really Shizuka, her athletic ability should be quite strong.
Shizuka's face flushed slightly from embarrassment, but she still gathered her courage and drew her sword to face Jatos.
Jatos was very strong, and his heavy attacks nearly knocked the sword out of her hand.
However, Shizuka did not give up. She kept retreating while looking for an opportunity to counterattack.
When she stepped back near a tree trunk, she suddenly dodged to the side.
Jatos's sword struck the tree and became stuck inside the wood.
Seizing the opportunity, Shizuka immediately counterattacked.
Jatos quickly raised his hands and shouted, "I surrender. Please spare me."
He had no intention of continuing the fight and preferred to surrender immediately.
Looking at him, Shizuka said kindly, "Since you surrendered, then you must help us obtain the silver set."
Jatos stood up quickly and nodded repeatedly as he replied, "No problem. I will help you."
He sighed with relief after escaping danger.
However, he suddenly felt something strange.
Was he not originally here to check on his prey?
