Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: “Eirys Valestria” Part 3

Two more days passed Everyone gathered on the fourth floor Celstia and Elsie were crying, clinging tightly to Snaya

Snaya stood awkwardly in the center, being hugged from both sides.

Norax and Ark stood a little away, completely ignored Ark cleared his throat.

"So Leader… are you leaving now?"

He lowered his head slightly.

"I'm sorry. I still couldn't give you information about the person named Zen."

"I'll send it as soon as possible."

Norax nodded calmly "It's fine.that guy was a famous con artist after all "

He glanced at Ark"And the information about Madam Kyra—no one read it before me or her, right? But it's not possible so please make sure her request goes smoothly and less people"

Ark nodded immediately "Yes.Leader it's okay we handle that request"

Norax turned around "Celstia," he said flatly.

"Stop crying. Leave Snaya alone. Act grow up like you are "

Celstia shook her head violently "Big sister—! Will miss you so much, Snaya! I don't want to go this cutie pie miss me so why are you both staying here "

Elsie hugged tighter "I don't want to leave either!!! With that ugly man at least ark was gentle man "

Outside, the carriage waited Inside it—Eirys was already seated.

Norax thought<.And that we'll meet her brother on the way.>

Celstia sniffed loudly.

"Master… why don't we stay a little longer? Please"

Elsie nodded."Yeah! The café here is better than your mansion."

Norax raised an eyebrow"Elsie," he said calmly.

"You didn't even go there. How can you say that my Mansion was bad"

Elsie froze Snaya stepped closer to Norax.

Norax crouched down.

Snaya suddenly leaned forward and kissed his cheek."Thanks for listening to Snaya's request."

Her tail swayed softly Her ears twitched.Snaya then turned and patted Celstia's head.

"Big sister worked hard, Sanay came to meet you " she said seriously.

"Snaya knows. Celstia's sister is a hard worker and strong "

Norax watched silently.

Celstia clung to Snaya desperately.

"I'll take you with me, cutie pie" she whispered "I'll feed you lots of cake."

"Please say big sister…"

Elsie widened her eyes.

"That's not fair! I also give you money and toys"She rushed over and tried to bribe Snaya too.

After several minutes—Norax won.

Celstia and Elsie lost Inside the carriage—Eirys stared out the window.

Her vision remained a mixture of black and white, blurred at the edges.

Sad emotions drifted around celstia and Elsie they move another carriage .

But strangely—They didn't feel heavy.

Norax opened the carriage door Eirys leaned slightly toward him and spoke softly.

"Did something happen? Sir"

She sensed Celstia and Elsie's emotions, Norax realized

He smile politely "Lady Eirys," he said calmly."It's nothing serious."

"They're just sad because they're leaving something cute behind."

Eirys blinked.

"is that Something cute on the fourth floor?"She paused.

"I'm sorry… I didn't mean to pry. It's just you all was there so long"

Norax nodded.

"Yes. There's something special there."He looked at her briefly.

"By the way… I hope you don't mind sharing the carriage with me."

Eirys waved her hands quickly.

"No—no, it's fine!"

"It's your carriage after all."

"I'm just a guest."

She spoke nervously.

But inside—She felt relieved.

Norax sat down and closed the carriage door. The carriage began to move.

Norax glanced at Eirys.

,he thought.

Eirys hesitated.

"Sir Norax… can I ask something?"

Norax looks at her.

"Sure."

"As long as it's not important—"

"And not harmful to me."

She fidgeted with her fingers.

"What… is your relationship with Lady Celstia? You both look close and she is always beside you"

Norax paused.

He answered honestly.

"It's complicated."

"She's close to me—but she doesn't want to be. Close to much"

"You could say it's a servant and master relationship… but on another level."He added calmly,

"She's a half-vampire."

"Our relationship has cultural issues."

Eirys froze.

"Vampire…?"

"Are vampires real? I thought they are in North"

"I've only read about them in books. And hear that they didn't stay in our kingdom"

Norax nodded.

"Yes. She's a vampire."

"Please don't tell anyone. Blue Crescent have our circumstances"

"I trust you."

Eirys nodded immediately.

"Don't worry."

She paused.

"…If that's the case…"

"Does that mean you're single right now?"

Norax froze

He didn't understand.

"Yes," he replied simply.

"I'm single."

Meanwhile—In the capital A carriage prepared to depart Alxie Valestria sat inside, holding a letter from Velyra.

The meeting route was an area with fewer eyes Smart, he thought.

The carriage stopped Alxie stepped into the darkness.A presence appeared behind him.

Velyra emerged silently.

"When did you start noticing me? No why are you here" she asked.

This time, she wore no mask—only a cloak covering her silver-grey hair.

She tilted her head"I gave you the location."

"So why are you here?"

Alxie turned.

"You were following me, since morning" he said calmly"So I thought it'd be better if we went together."

"By the way…"

"You still haven't told me your name."

Velyra shook her head.

"No need. For you to know my name"

"I'll follow you until we arrive.thats my part"

Alxie frowned.

"That's the problem I don't like being tailed."

"And a woman like you following my carriage is awkward. Why didn't you just come with me?"

Velyra narrowed her eyes.

"I see."

"You think this is a trap?"

Alxie shrugged.

"Maybe."

"Maybe not."

"I just want you near me right now."

Velyra sighed quietly.

"…Fine. My master ordered me to escort you anyway."

"Let's go, Alxie Valestria."

Alxie smiled faintly.

"Master…I want to see him. With my own eyes."

He stepped into the carriage.

And the wheels began to roll.

At least five hours.

They left in the morning—and only arrived at the meeting point when the sun had already begun to tilt.

From afar, Norax spotted a carriage bearing the Marquis crest.

Eirys stiffened.

Her fingers instinctively grabbed Norax's sleeve.

"Lady Eirys," Norax said calmly.

"It's alright."

She nodded, but her heart raced.

They stepped down from their carriage.

Norax supported Eirys lightly as she walked, positioning himself half a step ahead of her.

Celstia followed closely behind.

From the opposite carriage—The door opened loudly "Master! I'm back!"

Velyra jumped down energetically and bowed deeply, her pointed ears twitching with excitement.

"It's been a while since we met face to face!!!"

Norax narrowed his eyes.

"Velyra."He spoke flatly.

"Wait...Didn't I order you to keep your eyes on him while he was traveling?"

"Why are you standing outside the carriage?"

Velyra stiffened "I–It wasn't me—!"She stopped mid-sentence, nervous sweat forming.

Even though Norax wasn't speaking coldly, his presence alone was pressure.for her

A voice came from the other carriage.

"So… that kid is your master?"

The speaker stepped out.A young man with sharp purple eyes and hair and tired features.

Alxie Valestria.

. Alxie thought

Eirys froze Her breath caught.

"B-Brother…? this voice was my brother did he really be here for me "

Her voice trembled She instinctively grabbed Celstia's hand.

Celstia squeezed back gently.

"It's alright, my lady," Celstia whispered.

"Please calm down."

But Eirys' breathing grew faster.

Alxie forgot everything else and stepped forward.

But—Norax moved He blocked the path.

"What are you doing?" Alxie said sharply.

"My sister is in pain."

Velyra snapped instantly.

"Hey—! How dare you talk to a Master like that!"

Norax raised a hand "It's fine. She just needs time." He turned to Eirys"Are you alright?"

Eirys wasn't being overwhelmed by emotions.

She was simply—Shocked.

The brother who left her behind.

The brother who vanished.

The brother she thought abandoned her in that cruel house.

Alxie took out a small packet.

He held it out nervously.

"This… candy."

"She likes it."

"Please give it to her."

Eirys stared at it.

Then slowly looked up "Brother… are you really here?"

Alxie swallowed.

"Yes.Eirys It's me."

"What happened to you?"

"Where have you been all this time?"

Norax suddenly pulled Eirys slightly back.

"Is that really the first question you should ask her?" he snapped.

Alxie's eyes flared.

"Who do you think you are?!"

"She's my sister! Do you know how long I was forced away from her because of Duke Valestria?!"

Norax gently guided Eirys toward Celstia.

Then stepped forward.

"I know she's your sister," Norax said coldly.

"But I requested something, Mister Brother."

"She endured a lot.when i met her so please"

"Don't make her relive it."

Alxie exhaled slowly.

"I see.My mistake."

"But still—You have no right to touch my sister with those dirty underworld hands."

"Please—!"

Eirys shouted.

"Don't fight! Brother sir Norax"

Both men stopped.

Norax clenched his jaw.

Damn it. Lost my temper again, he thought.

Alxie looked at her.

"Eirys… we're not fighting."

Norax sighed.

"…Fine."

"Mister Alxie Valestria."

"Your sister is safe."

"But I believe you're smart enough to speak with me later.but—First—answer her questions."

He looked at Eirys.

"Lady Eirys You remember our bet."

"So please… talk to him."

Eirys nodded She had agreed.

Norax turned away.

"Velyra. With me."

Velyra nodded and clestia bowed eriys and alxie and moved with them

They moved aside, leaving the siblings alone.

For the first time—Eirys Valestria and Alxie Valestria stood together.after he lost her sights she made distance form his Brother and after his parents died she never went to meet him because of suffering from emotions

Alxie approached slowly He crouched slightly, checking her condition from head to toe.

"I'm sorry," he said quietly.

"For asking that earlier."

"That boy—did he hug you? In front of me but forgot about him"

"I'm glad you're safe."

Eirys didn't feel suffocated.

Not because Norax stepped away—But because she felt no hatred now None of the pressure she remembered.

She looked at her brother.

"Will you be angry… if I say something?"

She focused on his emotions.

The colors didn't change.

The same warmth.

The same sorrow.

The same guilt—Just like when they were children.

After our parents died…

She always thought he hated me.

Tears welled in her eyes.

Her voice trembled.

"Brother…"
