Chapter 20
The Return After Completion
The place was deceptively quiet.
A massive, luxurious hotel gleamed beneath the bright sunlight in the middle of the sky, as though nothing awaited inside.
In front of the entrance stood two monsters.
The first possessed a massive, muscular body, pure white hair, and glowing red eyes like burning embers.
An extremely long sword rested upon his back.
He wore black cloth trousers and a simple black shirt.
This was… Song.
The second was different.
A well-proportioned, tall body,
long black hair falling calmly,
and dim, sky-dark eyes concealing a frightening depth behind them.
He wore a black men's kimono, with black trousers and a black shirt beneath it.
The right side of the kimono had slipped off his shoulder,
and his right hand was half-covered by the fabric.
This was… Arthur.
Arthur smiled faintly, then looked at Song.
Song pressed the ground beneath him forcefully
and moved straight toward the hotel.
The moment they entered, five men stopped them—
clearly personal bodyguards.
Before Song could move…
before he could do anything—
Arthur vanished.
In an instant, he burst forward at an unbelievable speed,
his movements light, precise, deadly.
He struck their necks one after another,
five strikes…
five bodies fell without a sound.
He did not stop.
He lifted a desk beside him,
raised it with one hand with terrifying ease,
and placed it in front of the main gate.
Then he carried other objects—
tables, chairs, anything in his path—
until he completely blocked the entrances,
preventing any exit… or entry.
After that, the two entered the elevator.
Song pressed number 9.
The top floor of the hotel.
The entire floor reserved for those four bastards.
As the elevator ascended…
a phone rang.
It was the phone of one of the men sent to kill Song.
Arthur had taken it with him, sensing it might be useful.
He smiled, then answered the call.
"Where are you?!
He's just a damn little boy!
Why are you still late, you useless bastards?!"
The voice was shouting, filled with contempt.
One of those bastards… the one who had sent the men after Song.
Arthur smiled with quiet lethality.
"Sir…
I'm in the elevator now.
And I've brought the little bastard with me."
There was a brief silence,
then the voice burst into laughter.
"Well done, boy!
You'll get your reward as I promised.
Come up immediately."
The call ended.
Arthur looked at Song.
Blue veins bulged across his face,
his anger rising without limit.
Minutes later,
the elevator stopped.
The doors opened.
Four people stood before it,
smiling, exhilarated,
looking inside with disgusting confidence.
And when Song's eyes fell upon their faces—
They…
They are the ones who bullied me.
They are the ones who put me into a nine-month coma.
They are the ones who killed my parents.
And all they received… was a vacation in another country.
And the first thing they did upon returning… was search for me to kill me again.
But—
I am not the old Song.
His anger intensified,
his chest burned,
his fist tightened.
He raised his head upward—
and screamed.
One scream…
thunderous…
feral.
It was so powerful that the hotel's glass shattered entirely,
scattering in every direction.
Blood flowed from Song's mouth from the sheer force of the scream.
He took his first step out of the elevator.
The four bastards fell to the ground,
trembling in fear,
in pain,
in pure terror.
They were three boys and one girl.
Children of merchants, presidents, and ministers.
Influence beyond measure…
but now… mere prey.
Song raised his sword.
He wanted to kill them immediately.
He lifted the sword with all his rage—
and brought it down forcefully—
Clang!
His blade collided with another sword.
A sword of the same size…
but pitch black.
It was Arthur's sword.
"You little bastard!
What are you trying to do?!
Do you really want to kill them like that?!"
Arthur shouted fiercely.
Song froze,
returning to his senses.
For a moment, the four bastards smiled,
thinking Arthur stood on their side,
that the monster had been stopped.
Life began returning to their faces—
But it did not last.
"Kill them without torture?
Without humiliation?
Without completely destroying them?!"
Arthur shouted again.
This time…
their expressions turned into pure horror.
Arthur smiled.
Song smiled.
Then they turned toward them.
The begging began.
The tears.
The pleas.
But it was useless.
They were bound tightly.
And the torture began.
Arthur stood aside,
watching.
Song tortured them slowly…
with focus…
with terrifying enjoyment.
With every scream,
Arthur's smile widened.
After two hours…
it was the girl's turn.
Song looked at Arthur.
"Brother…
I can't torture her.
I'll just kill her."
Arthur sighed calmly.
"That is your decision, kid.
Torture or kill… your choice."
Then he added with a dark smile,
"If it were my decision…
I wouldn't just kill her.
I would turn her into a broken doll."
At that moment…
the sounds of police cars rose.
Dozens…
no, hundreds.
"It's time for the show, kid.
Prepare the bastards… let's go."
Arthur stepped toward the hotel wall overlooking the main street.
He raised his right hand.
The black bracelet began to glow.
Within seconds…
it transformed into a gigantic black sword.
He swung it four consecutive times.
Then he slowly turned.
Crack.
Moments later—
the wall split apart.
The hotel's entire facade shattered,
opening to the world.
Below them…
police officers,
the army,
military helicopters surrounding the place from every direction.
The hotel was completely surrounded. The guards Arthur had not killed downstairs had awakened and called for backup.
If this situation had involved any other human, no support would have come. They would have sent two local officers with large bellies from eating too many donuts.
But those four were the children of ministers, merchants, and people unbelievably famous in the world.
So within seconds, nearly the entire army of the state had gathered for them.
This was influence…
but in this moment, influence meant nothing.
Influence fell before overwhelming power.
Arthur smiled…
then turned toward Song.
Song gripped the four bastards firmly,
pulled them beside him,
then stepped forward.
He now stood facing hundreds of cameras,
countless lenses,
the eyes of the entire world fixed upon him.
The soldiers shouted,
the army calling him by name,
accusing him of terrorism,
ordering him to stop immediately.
But—
With a single scream from Arthur—
sharp,
lethal in its presence—
everything fell silent.
Silence spread once more.
Song stepped forward again
and looked directly into the cameras.
"I am Seoyoung."
His voice was steady,
terrifyingly calm.
"I am the one those bastards bullied.
I am the one they nearly killed…
out of boredom,
because no law could stop them."
He tightened his grip on his sword.
"I stand here now…
to reap my revenge."
The bastards trembled beside him,
but Song did not look at them.
"Because of them, I nearly died.
Because of them, my parents died.
And now…
it is time to repay the debt."
He lifted his head slightly,
his red eyes shining with madness.
"I swear here and now…
I will kill them.
I will slaughter them.
I will torture them."
His tone grew harsher.
"I will kill their fathers and mothers.
I will kill their brothers and sisters.
I will kill everyone who stands beside them.
And anyone who tries to stand in the way of my revenge—
this is what they will receive."
He finished his words.
In a single instant—
he raised his sword with terrifying force and speed.
The blade fell.
One strike.
Four heads…
fell together.
They rolled from the top of the hotel to the ground below.
People screamed—
screams of panic,
madness,
absolute shock at what was unfolding before their eyes.
Arthur smiled.
In the next moment,
he leapt before Song,
extending his right hand before his face.
Ding!
He caught a bullet that had been aimed directly at Song's head.
And in that moment—
|Congratulations, Host.
You have completed your mission with remarkable success.
You have helped Seoyoung obtain power and the sword.
Now Seoyoung can take revenge on his own.
You have completed your mission.
You will be returned to the world of One Piece with the rewards.
Well done.|
|Ten… nine… eight…|
Arthur smiled calmly,
then turned to Song.
"It seems this is the end of our road, kid."
His voice was calm,
free of any regret.
"You have become strong now.
You can take revenge alone."
He stepped toward him.
"Remember…
Kill them all.
And do not care about anything else."
He smiled faintly.
"I will leave now.
Perhaps in the future I will return to this world and help you again.
But I hope…
when I return next time,
you will have taken your full revenge,
and will no longer need my help."
He paused for a moment.
"Goodbye, Song."
A faint white light began to radiate around Arthur's body,
growing brighter and brighter.
Then—
the light swallowed him.
And he vanished before everyone's eyes.
Song stood in place,
staring at the emptiness where Arthur had been.
Then he smiled.
A smile of gratitude…
respect…
and appreciation.
He bowed deeply toward that place.
"Thank you, my teacher…
for everything you have done for me."
He raised his head,
his eyes shining with unbreakable resolve.
"I will never forget your teachings.
I will kill them all…
I swear to you."
And in that moment—
Arthur returned…
to the world of One Piece.
