Keifer's POV:
I did not know what happened, when they announced we won, because I hugged her, I don't know why I did that, but it kind of felt right, and that thought scared me and I immediately pulled away.
We went and got our prize and came back and Ofcourse David teased us and the day was over and few days went by, and now we had a club meeting that just got over and I stayed back to take care of some work related to the club and Ofcourse Jay stayed back to "help me" and I did not say anything because i did liked her having her around me but I did not say that loud Ofcourse and then I received a call from my brother
Keifer: " hello, is everything okay?"
Keiren: "Yes, kuya but can you come home fast"
Keifer: " Keiren, please understand I will try to come as soon as my work is done"
Keiren: " You always say this but you never come"
Keifer: "I know I am sorry but I'll try"
But Keiren ended his phone call and I rubbed my temples frustrated and that is when Jay handed me a glass of water and sat beside
I took the water and started speaking
Keifer: " I know you want to say something so say"
Jay: "Okay, I don't want you feel like I am stepping between you and brother, but I honestly think you have to spend some time with him"
Keifer: " Do you think I don't want to"
Jay: "I am not saying that, but I almost never seen you not work or always be busy with one or other thing and Keiren is alone at you house, he has friends sure but he also misses his brother, his family. You are one who told me that you never want Keiren to feel any less because he doesn't have parents, by any less doesn't only means in terms of finance but also in terms of love, he misses his brother and still fighting but believe me one day he will stop fighting because he is tired of waiting, you have to go to him before that" she said looking into my eyes
Keifer: "I never thought you would be this good at understanding and observing people"
Jay: "I am good at understanding Keiren because I relate to him, after my father died, no one thought I was worth their time" she said in low tone and I honestly felt bad for her
Keifer: "I am so sorry"
Jay: "It's okay, Now go and spend some time with your brother, I will take care of everything here"
Keifer: "Thanks for doing that for me"
Jay: "Ofcourse I would, I mean honestly I am just doing this for our family, so we could have a happy one in the future" she said it with a smug
I glared at her even though the way she said it was cute.
Keifer: "There you go again, i just felt sorry for you"
Jay: "What I was just stating facts"
I just nodded my head and moved towards the door and almost went outside but I turned back and looked at her and I don't what happened in me, because the next thing I said was totally unexpected
Keifer: "Do you want to join us?"
She was stunned when I said that, so was I
She came closer to me and checked my forehead as if checking for fever and I moved.
Jay: "Did something happened to you?"
Keifer: "Do you want to come or not?"
Jay: "Ofcourse I want to see my future boyfriend's house" she said blinking her eyes multiple time and grinning, she was cute o admit but I started walking without replying and
She followed me and matched my pace and we started walking to my place and in middle she stopped suddenly and went inside a store and came back with a bag,
Keifer: "What happened?"
Jay: "Nothing, I just brought some chocolates am ice cream for your brother"
Keifer: "Why did you do that?"
Jay: "Ofcourse because I want him on my side, we going to be family in the future"
Keifer: "you are delusional"
She just smirked and we reached my house.
I rang the bell and Keiren opened the door, he saw me and hugged me,
Keiren: "Kuya, you really came"
Keifer: " Yes, Ofcourse"
Keiren: "Who is this kuya?" He asked pointing at Jay
Keifer: "She is Jay my " I paused and said " friend"
Jay: "He is lying, I am your future sister in law" she said and I chocked
Keiren: "really?" He asked excitedly
Jay: "Yes"
Keifer: "She is just kidding, come let's go inside"
Jay: " your kuya is just shy and here you go these are for you" she said and handed over the bag and he smiled after looking into the bag
Keiren: "Thank you" and hugged her and the both of them settled down to couch and started chatting
Keifer: "You guys aren't going to help me make dinner?"
Both of them gave me an unbelievable look
Jay: "You are supposed to take care of us"
Keifer: "And why is that?"
Jay: "Can you are the elder one" she said and Keiren agreed
Keifer: "This is totally unfair" I said and went to the kitchen and both of them hi-fied eachother and started chatting
Jay: "Why is brother always grumpy?"
Keiren: "Ahn, he is old I guess"
She laughed when he said that
Keifer: "You know I can hear you both of talking about me" I said from the kitchen
Both of them laughed and started talking and I started making dinner and in the middle I came to see them and I admired them from the leaning doorframe, to be honest I admired Jay how she lit up our place, it used to be a silent place, for a minute I let myself wonder, what it would actually be to have her in my life and I liked the thought but it also scared me. I was still admiring her from afar and Keiren saw me standing.
Keiren: "Kuya, is dinner ready?"
Keifer: "Yes, come set up the table"
Also of us settled down in the table and had our dinner with lots of chit chat, honestly o don't remember the last time, when I actually sat down and had dinner with him, I actually missed it, and thanks to Jay because she is one that pushed me to go home, we finished our dinner and Jay was about to leave and I went out to send her off,
Keifer: "Jay, thanks"
Jay: "For what?"
I just nodded my head in a no
Jay: "You are getting weird as days are passing"
I smiled and she went.
I went inside and Keiren was waiting for me,
Keiren: "Kuya, do you like Jay?" I was stunned by his question
Keifer: "why are you asking such question?"
Keiren: "Because I saw you keep glancing at her while were in the couch and also during dinner, also you have never brought a girl home before and never had girl as your friend"
Keifer: " Go to sleep" I avoided to think about what he said and but the thoughts kept running in my mind, Am I falling for Jay?
Keiren: "For the record, I like Jay"
Keifer: "Go"
