James smiled in a disgusting manner then said.
"Yes… yes, that's a great plan."
"If you want… if you agree to let me go… I'll even act as bait."
Viktor looked at him in disgust.

"Gregor, grab him, we're going."
Gregor lifted James by the neck and threw him back onto his shoulder.
"We need to spread out." Cessian said.
Viktor nodded.
"Should Gregor be alone with James? What if he tries to escape?" Viktor voiced his concerns.
Gregor patted James.
"No need to worry, he can't escape."
Cessian nodded.
"If he tries anything, then just kill him, he's worthless."
Viktor smirked.
"Yeah, we don't really need him, but I thought the master might want a run at him."
Gregor smiled evilly.
"For sure, the master definitely wants a talk with him."
James on Gregor's shoulder felt a chill run down his spine.

It started to sink in… he was going to die.
"Alright, I'll take left." Viktor said and ran off.
Cessian looked at Gregor.
"I'll take the right, you'll take the middle."
Now Gregor was alone with James.
As he started to run James was still in a daze.
Then he grabbed Gregor's shirt.
"Please! I won't escape, don't kill me!"
Gregor clicked his tongue.
"Just shut up!"
James felt like crying.

Back where the Cullens were.
They were still recovering from what had just happened.
"So… are we good?" Emmett asked after a long silence.
Hearing this everyone slowly snapped back to reality.
"It… seems so." Carlisle frowned.
"But we need to be careful, we don't know those three, they might change their target to us later."
Rosalie crossed her arms.
"Why would they? We haven't offended them."
Carlisle glanced over.
"You don't know that, these types of vampires are volatile."
Seeing that Rosalie didn't respond he turned towards the house.
"Let's go in, but be on your guard."
Everyone nodded.
Silas was a little dissatisfied with his employees.
How could they let that chick run off?
They aren't focused enough on their jobs.

Just then Alice pulled his arm.
"Silas? Are you hungry?"
Silas locked eyes with Alice who was looking at him.
Sigh. She was really too cute.
"Yeah, I'm a little hungry, gotta be all this stress."
Alice smiled.
"Then how about I make you some food?"
Silas wrapped his arm around her.
"If it's you making it, how can I say no?"
Alice giggled.
"Let's go."
A couple of kilometers away a silhouette was making its way through the forest.
It was Victoria.
"What a bunch of bastards." She cursed.
"How cowardly of them to team up… do they have no ethics?"
She jumped over a tree, and landed in front of a river.
"What should I do?" Her face was twisted in despair.
"I must rescue James… but how!?"
She looked down in the water and saw her pale reflection.
Her hair was all messed up from the desperate run.
Usually she would care a lot about her appearance… but she couldn't care less now.
How could she? Her mate was captured, and exposed to god knows what.
This wasn't how she imagined her life with James.
She bent her legs and jumped.
Her jump looked elegant and nearly weightless, like she was jumping on the moon.
She had to get James back.
She landed on the other side, and was immediately assaulted by a disgusting smell.
"Ugh~ What is that smell?"
Victoria covered her nose in disgust.
"Why does it smell like wet dog?"
She glanced around but saw nothing.
She heard something and looked behind her.
"They're coming!? Already!?"
She stopped caring about the smell, and instead rushed forward.
Whatever was making that smell couldn't be worse than what was behind her.
Viktor reached the river and sniffed the air.
"I'm getting closer."
Just as he was about to take off, Cessian appeared.
"Do you smell her?"
Viktor glanced over and nodded.
"I do… she was here not long ago."
Cessian nodded.
Just then Gregor ran out of the woods.
"Why are you all here?"
Viktor shrugged his shoulders.
"All roads lead to rome… or this place?" He said and looked around.
"Let's not ponder this right now, let's move after her, same line up." Cessian said and jumped over the river.
He made a somersault mid air and landed gracefully.
"Show off." Gregor cursed.
"Let's go." Viktro said a in dissatisfied tone.
After Viktor left Gregor repeated what he said in a ridiculous tone.
"Let's go… what an idiot."
He jumped over and even with James on his shoulder it was effortless.
And now James started begging.
He has been going on in intervals.
"Please… I want to live… I'll do anything!"
He said, his voice gurgling.
Gergor rolled his eyes.
"Be happy, you'll get to die with your mate, we'll even burn you in the same grave if you want."
James's face twisted in spite.
"Fuck her! I hate her! That bitch! I wished we could switch places, so she could experience all this, NOT ME!"
Gregor was stunned.
"That's fucked up man, she's your mate."
James's voice grew lower and lower out of exhaustion.
"I don't care, I never liked her!"
"She's so fucking annoying and clingly, if I get the chance, I'll kill her."
Gregor shook his head.
This is a fucking psycho…
Never have I ever heard a motherfucker say these things.
My lobster is too buttery…
My girlfriend is too clingy…
My steak is too juicy…
My wifi is too fast….
My girlfriend's affection is too much…
These are all bougie complaints, this James really deserves to die.
Gregor was getting more and more excited the more he talked.
He really wanted to kill James right here.

Then he started to wallow in self pity… he's never even had a mate.

Just then he caught a scent.
Then came the sound of cracking branches.
He turned to his left and saw a huge wolf.
"So this is what smells."
A look of realization flashed across Gregor's face.
He has never fought one of these before.
