Carlisle frowned and stepped in front of Esme.
Clearly he was apprehensive of what Viktor had just said.
Viktor saw this and rolled his eyes.
"Hey! No need to worry, I won't be taking your wife, I have no such fetishes, alright?"
Carlisle looked Viktor in the eyes for a second then relaxed slightly.
He didn't completely believe him, but what other choice did he have?
Esme was even more confused, how did she get dragged into this?
She didn't think people really had such tastes.
She had heard of it… but never met one in real life.
Seeing that they calmed down Viktor turned his attention back to James.
"Enough of the diversions, and sowing of discord, they won't help you."
James frowned, how was he going to get out of this?
He was coming to the realization of his actions.
Maybe this wasn't the brightest idea he had ever had.
Why couldn't he just keep himself in check.
Viktor was tired of the procrastination, he glanced over at Cessian and Gregor.
They locked eyes and knew what each other wanted.
James saw this and made himself ready.
It was time.
A smile spread on Viktor's face.
Seeing that James jumped backwards… but it was too late.
Viktor was already in front of him, his smile wide.
James instinctually threw a jab, but Viktor leaned to the side and grabbed his hand.
With a light tug he threw off James's balance, then threw a punch at his face.
A marble-like cracking sound rang out as James tumbled backwards.
He landed on his upper back, made a spin and landed half kneeling.
The back and forth made him very disoriented, but out of the corner of his eyes he saw something closing in.
Gregor was coming in from the side, kneeing him in the side of his head.
Before he knew it the world was spinning, and James was airborne.
The Cullens who were standing on the side couldn't help but feel bad for him.
He was tag teamed by three terrifying vampires… he simply never stood a chance.
Edward on the side had been trying to read their minds but it didn't work.
It seems they knew about his powers and were using some method to hide their thoughts.
How? He didn't know, but it wasn't unreasonable for such strong and old vampires to have some methods.
James landed a few meters away and crawled onto his fours.
Cessian saw that he was the closest one and walked up.
"Why don't you two do it, I don't wanna compete."
Cessian said and kicked James in the side, sending him towards Gregor and Viktor.
Gregor raised his foot and stomped down when James arrived, clenching James's head between the ground and his foot.
"Sorry… we got it now."
Cessian smiled and kept spectating as Viktor and Gregor played James like a fiddle.
He was baited left and right, getting all kinds of dirty punches in the most painful areas.
Most of the Cullens had long since looked away, this was simply too barbaric and brutal.
Just kill him.
Silas was enjoying the show, it really was the right choice to bring these chuds to do the work.
Just then Cessian called out.
"Wait!"
Viktor and Gregor were confused.
They looked over at Cessian with questioning gazes.
"Where's the woman?"
Viktor and Gregor looked left and right, they didn't see her.
Even the Cullens and Silas were confused.
They were way too absorbed in the fight to pay attention to Victoria leaving.
Viktor and Gregor looked at each other for a second then turned to Cessian.
They were all trying to find the person at fault, and if they couldn't they would blame someone.
As long as it wasn't them.
The one who was doing the least was Cessian… so he bore the brunt of the blame.
"You were supposed to watch her!" Viktor said loudly.
"Yeah, we were working on this guy." Gregor said and pointed towards the distraught James on the ground.
He was missing two arms, two legs, his head was smashed…. he didn't look good.
Cessian glared at Gregor.
The message was clear.
You're my day one, how can you turn on me just like that?
Gregor's response was in line with his interests.
He signaled back, that as long as the master didn't blame him, it was fine.
Cessian rolled his eyes.
"Tie him up, and let's follow her."
Gregor and Viktor glanced at each other then nodded.
"Alright."
Then a few seconds later Gregor lifted James onto his shoulder and then they left.
Finally the Cullens breathed a sigh of relief.
It was finally over.
They had been on the edge the entire time.
"That was terrifying." Ella said as she leaned against Jasper.
Alice nodded in agreement, and tightened her grip on Silas's hand.
Jasper was slightly confused as to why they were so brutal, did they hate James that much?
Carlisle had the same idea, he had a lot of questions he was too afraid to ask.
Esme was shaken, but walked over with Rosalie and started to talk with Ella and Alice.
Rosalie was also a little scared, but she would never show it.
Emmett moved closer to Silas.
"That was quite the cool fight."
Silas glanced at him and smiled mischievously.
"Yeah, it reminded me about our Tekken matches, you being James that is."
Emmett rolled his eyes.
"Ha… Ha… Ha… you're so funny."
Silas licked his lips.
"Right?"
Hearing this ignorant response Emmett chose to go and comfort his wife.
Silas glanced towards the woods where Cessian, Gregor and Viktro disappeared into.
I hope they finish the job well, otherwise we might have a problem on our hands.
It would be bad if Victoria escaped… but even if she did, we might be able to use James as bait.
Silas smiled evilly.
Just then Alice walked up.
"You're doing the smile again."
Silas looked at her and stroked her head.
"What do you mean?"
Alice rolled her eyes.
"You know what I mean."
Silas hugged her.
"I do."
In the woods, Viktor and Co, had already found Victoria's trail.
"You're a good tracker, Viktor." Gregor complimented.
Viktor smiled.
"Thank's. We'll catch this Victoria, no matter who's fault it his."
