Chapter 53 - Give Us The Sauce...!

Walking out of the hospital Alice was tugging at his arm.

"Do you want to do something after school tomorrow?"

Silas tugged back and smiled teasingly.

"And what would that be?"

Alice pretended to look thoughtful like she hadn't already decided.

"I want to visit your house." She said.

Silas raised an eyebrow.

"Really?"

Alice nodded.

"Come on."

Silas shrugged.

"Why not?"

Alice smiled.

Just then a voice rang out behind them. It was Rosalie.

"Could I get a ride?" It took a lot to ask for a ride from Silas. After all, they had a little feud.

Or she had a feud with Silas… but Silas didn't care.

She didn't want to ask… but everybody except Carlisle had gone home and she didn't want to wait for him to finish his shift.

So the best course of action was to catch a ride with Silas and Alice.

Silas was surprised to hear Rosalie ask him to give her a ride.

But he knew he shouldn't antagonize her, otherwise she might actually get angry and stand on business.

He met her eyes and smiled.

"Sure, get in." He motioned towards the back seat.

Rosalie nodded with some embarrassment.

When they got in and Silas started the car, Alice finally couldn't hold in.

"Rosalie… didn't you dislike Silas? Why are you now asking for a ride?" Alice looked back and asked.

Hearing Alice's bluntness, Silas couldn't help but twitch his lip.

Way to go!

Rosalie who was questioned felt annoyed. She didn't… dislike Silas.

She just didn't like him… yes, exactly.

"Alice, what do you mean? Me and Silas are quite good friends, we usually have deep discussions during English class."

Alice who heard this raised an eyebrow in disbelief.

"But didn't you say you found him annoying and suspicious just a couple of weeks ago?"

Silas pursed his lips. Wow, really?

"Alice, it's fine, reall…" Before he could complete his sentence Rosalie interrupted.

"People change and so do opinions. I now think Silas is a good and non-suspicious person."

Alice frowned in displeasure.

"Aren't you just saying that because you're getting a free ride?"

Rosalie clenched her jaw. She now regretted getting in this car. Alice, can't she just let it go?

Sadly I can't just jump out of the car… well, I can't but that is bad manners.

Rosalie seeing that Alice was charging up for another question felt angry.

Let it go! Stop being so damn protective, I'm your sister for gods sake!

Luckily Silas saved her.

"Alice? You wanted to visit my place tomorrow, right? Do you wanna watch a movie?"

Hearing Silas's question she completely forgot to keep questioning Rosalie.

"Yeah, sure!" She replied.

Silas nodded.

"Then what movie do you wanna watch?" He asked.

Alice looked thoughtful.

"I don't know…"

Silas nodded.

"Then think about that until tomorrow."

Alice smiled and nodded.

"Alright."

Seeing Silas save her, Rosalie shot him a grateful glance.

I actually think that Silas might not be so bad… yeah.

With that they arrived at the Cullens house.

"Alright, we're here." Silas said.

Rosalie got out as if fleeing, but Alice wasn't in a hurry.

She leaned over and put her face close to Silas's.

Seeing her like this Silas smiled and gave her a kiss.

"See you tomorrow." He said.

Alice's face was filled with happiness as she got out.

"Yeah, see you tomorrow." She waved as she walked towards the house.

Silas watched Alice's figure enter the house and disappear.

He couldn't help but sigh.

How silly I've become.

He put the car in gear and drove away.

When he got home he had to tell Vikor to disappear. He couldn't bring home a girl with Viktor there.

Forks.

The Cullen house.

Alice walked inside happily… but that was soon quelled.

Her entire family minus Carlisle were there staring at her.

"So… how did it go?" They all asked in unison, with Esme in the front looking extra worried.

Alice pouted. How annoying.

She obediently walked to the living room and sat down.

They just kinda stared at her waiting for her to tell them all the good stuff.

Alice clenched her jaw in hate and then started to narrate what happened.

Of course she left out certain moments with Silas she wanted to be only theirs.

Because she felt she was already sharing too much. Next time they ask for entertainment she's gonna refuse.

Hmph.

After she came to the point where Silas revealed his powers a despairing shout rang out.

"No! My good brother, why didn't you tell me!?" Emmett shouted.

Everyone turned to look at him with disdain. Shut up already. Enough!

Even Esme had enough.

"Emmett, be quiet, he must have his reasons, and didn't exactly tell him about you being a vampire, did you?"

Emmett who heard that shut up and looked thoughtful.

That… seems to make sense. Yes! The reasoning is sound.

"Sorry for my outburst, I was a little surprised. Please continue." Emmett said to Alice with an embarrassed face.

Alice frowned but still continued.

A few minutes later.

"So? He's still coming over for video games this weekend?" Emmett asked.

Ella, Rosalie, Esme and Alice looked at him with annoyance.

That's what you took from all that?

But they soon snapped out of it.

Esme sat down next to Alice and gave her a warm hug.

"I'm so happy everything worked out."

Alice smiled.

"Me too."

With that they kept talking about Silas for a while.

Especially Esme, she wanted to know what he wanted to eat, and Alice promised to ask tomorrow.

Meanwhile.

Forks.

The Immortal mansion.

A mournful scream rang out.

"NOO!"

"Please have mercy, master!"

Silas's face was filled with displeasure.

"Just get out!" He said and used telekinesis to fling him out the door.

Viktor landed on the grass outside.

"Please… I know I'm not the best… but master please have mercy!"

Silas ignored him and closed the door.

Finally some peace and quiet.

...

Enjoy.
