Lenette stared at the document in her hand with a sense of glee. She knew it was just a paper and as much as it held legal weight in courts and to her, she also knew that Caesar had no care for the law. If he so wished he could disregard the contract and do what he wanted. Still, it was some form of comfort to her. And she wanted to enjoy that comfort while she still could.
"Done giving the contract heart eyes." K commented.
"Not yet, give me two more minutes." She held the paper to her chest and gave him a pouted look, "Let me enjoy your boss's whim while I still can."
"As much as I would like to, I am overworked so I have more to do after babysitting you."
"Fine. Fine." She placed the contract down on the kitchen counter and turned her attention to him. "I am listening."
