LUCY
Tavric is such a tease. It is genuinely exhausting trying to keep up with his shifting moods.
One moment he looks at me with a hunger that suggests he wants me stripped bare, and the next… I just don't understand this hulk.
I watch the smug smirk dancing on his lips and wonder, for the thousandth time, why the Goddess let our paths cross. He is driving me mentally insane, and we've only actually spoken for a few hours.
The months of him watching me from across the café like some eerie sentinel don't count. At this rate, I'll grow white hairs before my next birthday.
"Tavric, state what you want so we can get on with this, or hold your peace," I snap, my patience thinning.
"I think I'll hold my peace for now…"
I roll my eyes so hard it hurts. What was the point of bringing it up then? "Please, just go ahead with your narration. Or do you have all day to play games?"
"I have all day with, and for you."
