Chapter 122: Enies Lobby Invasion – Rocketman's Crash & the Gates of Justice Fall
When Lucci and the others walked into Spandam's office, they were greeted by a ridiculous yet unsettling sight. Spandam—the man with part of his face covered by a leather mask and sporting purple curly hair—was bowing and scraping obsequiously toward the Den Den Mushi.
"Yes yes yes, Daddy… ah right right right, just like that… I've captured Nico Robin and Tom's disciple. Now we're just missing a real powerhouse to hold the fort…"
The moment the call ended, Spandam's demeanor flipped instantly. He turned to Lucci's group, cleared his throat with exaggerated authority: "Welcome back, Lucci, Kaku, Blueno, Kalifa. I've been fully briefed on the situation." He waved the Den Den Mushi in his hand. "I've already spoken with Daddy—he's arranging for the nearest CP0 agent to come assist us."
His smug expression was impossible to hide, as though everything was already under his control.
"Sir, your earlier behavior constitutes sexual harassment," Kalifa said flatly, pushing up her glasses.
"I just called your name!" Spandam shouted back indignantly.
Lucci ignored the exchange and began his report with calm efficiency: "Cutty Flam—who attacked World Government officials eight years ago—Nico Robin, the survivor of the Ohara incident twenty years ago—and Nefertari Vivi, current princess of Alabasta—have all been successfully apprehended. The three are currently waiting outside for disposal."
"Cutty Flam and Nico Robin finally caught! And Nefertari Vi—wait! The princess of Alabasta?! What the hell did you bring a country's princess here for!" Spandam nearly jumped out of his skin—if the king complained at the next World Conference, he'd be finished, especially since Alabasta was a superpower!
"She was an accomplice of the criminal Nico Robin—arrested in passing," Lucci explained calmly.
"Fine, fine… it's a day of celebration, I won't pursue it." Spandam forcibly suppressed his anger and waved dismissively. "I'll personally go release her and explain later." Muttering to himself, he crouched down and began rummaging through a pile of documents.
While Spandam was busy digging, Fukurou conducted a quick strength test on the group. Discovering that Lucci's power far exceeded his own—and that even Kaku had improved dramatically—Grap suddenly lost his composure and began sniping with sarcastic remarks.
Blueno watched the inexplicably furious Grap and asked directly: "What's wrong with him? He's like he swallowed gunpowder."
"Chapapa~ The guards on the island are all talking about it—Grap got dumped yesterday by the cafeteria lady Catherine!" Fukurou mercilessly unzipped his mouth and spilled.
"I see…" Blueno immediately recalled the rather "distinctive"-looking Catherine and nodded in understanding.
"Heh." Lucci and Kaku said nothing, merely giving Grap a faint glance—the look only made Grap more furious and humiliated.
"Wait! How does everyone know?! I only told you!" Grap suddenly realized and whipped around toward Fukurou.
"Chapapa~ Because I'm the one who spread it!" Fukurou proudly pulled his zipper mouth again.
"You bastard! It was you!" Grap exploded in rage and lunged at the gloating Fukurou. "Everyone stop arguing! All this conflict is because of me—let me atone with seppuku!" Kumadori suddenly shouted dramatically. From somewhere he produced a gleaming short blade and thrust it toward his own stomach without hesitation—
With a clear metallic clang, the blade tip struck his abdomen and bounced away harmlessly. In the final moment he had secretly activated "Iron Body," hardening his stomach into steel and perfectly blocking the seemingly fatal strike.
"Yoyoi… such is the whims of fate~" Kumadori immediately struck a tragic pose and began intoning in exaggerated theatrical style: "Could it be my sainted mother in heaven, unable to bear seeing her poor child perish, is protecting me from the shadows?"
Grap's forehead veins bulged as he roared: "You bastard! Stop secretly using Iron Body to cheat every time! If you're gonna die, die properly!"
"Enough! This racket is unacceptable!" Spandam finally lost patience. With effort he dragged a heavy treasure chest engraved with the World Government emblem from under his desk. He solemnly opened it, revealing two fruits covered in strange spiral patterns inside. "For five years you've worked hard infiltrating Water 7—the World Government will never forget your contributions! Now—choose. These are the legendary treasures of the sea: Devil Fruits!"
Kaku and Kalifa exchanged a glance, then each cautiously selected one fruit. Under everyone's gaze, they endured the indescribably bizarre taste and forced themselves to swallow.
Spandam nodded in satisfaction, telling them to go rest and adapt to their new powers. Then he ordered the guards to bring Nico Robin, Princess Vivi, and Franky into the office.

Meanwhile, aboard the speeding Rocketman, Pauly—drawing on memories of repairing the outer tracks of Enies Lobby years ago—quickly sketched a detailed terrain map on the car floor.
"Listen," Pauly said seriously, pointing at the drawing. "The main gate of Enies Lobby is heavily guarded. The island's front gate requires a special mechanism to open. I suggest Bari and I land first with the Franky Family to open the way. You three main fighters must conserve your strength—there will definitely be fierce battles ahead. The whole process should take no more than ten minutes or so…"
"No need… for that much trouble…" Sol leaned weakly against the car wall, face pale as paper, yet still forcing himself to speak with undeniable authority. "Just… drive the train… straight in. Numbers… mean nothing to me."
"Oh! Then let's just crash right in!" Luffy immediately waved his arms excitedly, grinning in approval.
"No, bro—who even are you! The most important thing right now is letting these three conserve energy for the strong enemies ahead!" Pauly pointed at Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji—the three main powerhouses—then looked at Sol, who had been carsick and nearly collapsed the entire trip, and loudly complained about the completely unreasonable suggestion.
Yet Zanbay from the Franky Family immediately voiced support without hesitation: "Since Sol big bro says so, what are we waiting for! Full speed ahead—land on Enies Lobby!"
Under the horrified stares of the patrolling guards around Enies Lobby's perimeter, Zoro suddenly leaped out of the car. Three swords flashed; cold light gleamed—"Three Sword Style – Demon Rhino!" The ferocious sword energy tore through like a raging phantom, instantly shredding the heavy steel gate ahead into pieces!
With the final barrier gone, Rocketman let out a deafening roar. Like a primeval beast breaking free of its chains, it dragged the Franky Family's warship behind it and charged with unstoppable momentum straight toward the towering gate of Enies Lobby—the symbol of absolute justice—
BOOM!!!
A heaven-shaking explosion rocked the entire island! The massive gate shattered under the violent impact; wood shards and metal fragments flew everywhere. The Straw Hats had announced their overwhelmingly dominant arrival in the most direct, most domineering way possible!
