*Isaiah's POV*
'Red Moon has abandoned me.' was the only thought in me for a few days.
* A few days ago*
My head finally stopped spinning.
I slowly opened my eyes which felt unusually heavy.
"Isaiah!" My father called out.
Wait, wasn't I with Red Moon?
The last thing that I heard him say was
"Don't do anything dangerous and be a good emperor, Isaiah."
But I am sure that I heard something else too. But I don't remember.

Before I could think more about the situation my father and mother pulled me into a hug and told me that they had missed me and were worried about me.
I tried to comfort them, but I was terrible at it. Additionally, at that time, my mind and heart were only filled with the thoughts of Red Moon.
The few days that I spent with him were enough for me to know what kind of person he is and he is exactly like I imagined.
I have also figured out what he said.
It was something like "Don't do the same mistake."
And I think he was referring to the fact that I lunged at him while he was dancing and even took a hit from him. Well, to be honest, I don't mind. I liked it even if it did hurt.
The past few days were also brutal. I had to deal with constant assassination attempts from King Lucifer and I also got nagged for losing the Chand Scroll. But, let's be real, who can stop him? He is strong, has knowledge and probably can create an empire if he wanted to.
His charm is beyond measure and he is single.... I hope.
"Why are you sitting here doing nothing?" My mom asked as she walked inside my room.
"I was just thinking about something." I said.
My mom just sighed and said, "More like about someone. You are a crown prince, Isaiah. You should now stop thinking about that courtesan and start ruling and make decisions in court."
"He is not just a courtesan, mom. You know that. He is someone beyond our reach."
"And that is the exact reason why you should let go of him. I don't know what you guys did for a few days that you became even more obsessed with him than you were before but that doesn't mean you will see him again. He is practically immortal. But you are not. You are a mortal. You will die one day."
I quietly nodded.
I know that mom doesn't know this feeling.
She is an empress. She is the one who rules the whole empire. She is the supreme power.
It is a tradition for all women to become empress and rule the empire. Maybe take an emperor if needed.
And that's the exact reason why she doesn't know a few things.
She married my dad because of politics and they lived happily ever after.
But, at least dad was within reach.
What about me?
I can rule an empire, sure but unless Red Moon is with me, I don't think the hole that he created in those days will get filled again.
I want him but I can't get him.
This is frustrating. It makes me angry somehow.
But, I can do nothing...
