Chapter 52 - The Kiss of Life :

Sheyaan had started following Zavian's every word--maybe because she was afraid or maybe she was simple too tired to

resist anymore Zavian returned to his phone completely indifferent. Sheyaan turned and began walking toward her

room her step slow and heavy. But a fter just a few steps--her body suddenly felt strange. Something was...not right.

With every step she took, darkness began to cloud her vision. She couldn't see anything clearly in front of her.

She rubbed her eyes repeatedly, but instead of clearing, everything became even more blurred.

Her steps grew unsteady, yet she tried to move forward... until suddenly, her body gave up on her.

Her movement stopped, and she collapsed onto the floor.

As she fell, a soft cry escaped her lips—

"Aaaah!!"

Hearing her voice, Zavian turned back. He found it strange that Sheyaan was suddenly on the floor and asked from a distance,

"Sheyaan!! Why are you.. sitting on the floor?"

But there was no response from her side. Sensing something was wrong, Zavian immediately

stood up from the sofa and rushed toward her. Sitting beside her, he asked with concern,

"Sheyaan... what happened?"

Still, Sheyaan remained silent. She only let out faint, painful breaths,

"Aahh... aahh..."

as if something was burning inside her body. Her entire being seemed overwhelmed with pain.

Her eyes slowly began to close...

Sweat drenched Sheyaan's body. Flowing down like streams of water, completely out of control. Hearing her painful groan.

His expression darkeend. Without hesitation her reached out--placing a firm hand on her shoulder--and lifted her face toward himself.

Her face was completely drenched in sweat, and her eyes were slowly shutting, as if all life had drained out of them.

Seeing this, Zavian was utterly shocked. In a panicked voice, he asked:

"She... Sheyaan?! What's..happening to you?"

Gathering the last of her strength, Sheyaan forced her eyes open. Breathing heavily, she said in a trembling voice:

"I... I feel... very hot..."

As she spoke, her breathing grew more rapid, as if all the air in the hall had disappeared and she was struggling to breathe.

When Zavian held Sheyaan's face in his hands, his soul trembled—her body was burning like hot coal. Deeply worried, he asked in a tense voice:

"Why... why are you burning.. like this?!" Huh!"

In intense pain, Sheyaan tightly grabbed his hand. Her voice carried a desperation that pierced Zavian's heart:

"I... I feel like I'm burning... it hurts... my whole body..."

Tears streamed down her eyes as she spoke. Zavian furrowed his brows, trying to stay composed, and quickly reassured her:

"Don't worry... nothing will happen..to you." okay!"

But the moment he said that, his gaze shifted to the area below her neck—and he froze. A strange orange glow, like flickering

lightning, was radiating from her skin. Seeing this, Zavian was completely shocked—this was no ordinary illness.

Without wasting a second, he lifted Sheyaan into his arms and rushed toward the terrace.

Within moments, he reached there and carefully laid her down on the ground. Then, in a commanding voice, he called out into the air:

"Kalene!! Come here immediately...!"

There was such authority and power in Zavian's voice that in the blink of an eye, Kalene appeared before him.

Seeing Sheyaan's condition, Kalene asked with a racing heart shocked,

"What happened, Boss? Why.. did you call me so urgently? And... what's happening to... Sheyaan?"

Grinding his teeth, Zavian roared:

"The enemy has.. attacked from behind! A dangerous...orange energy, planted by.. them, is burning inside Sheyaan's body... They're trying to pull her into their world!"

Hearing this, Kalene said in disbelief,

"What... but how did this...energy get inside her?"

Zavian's eyes turned bloodshot with rage. In a commanding tone, he ordered:

"Go downstairs and find out...who inside this house is acting..as a 'traitor'! And...find the servant who served Sheyaan breakfast this morning!"

Every word Zavian spoke echoed across the terrace. There was

such power in his voice that the sky itself began to change—daylight slowly faded into a dark, ink-like night.

Thick black clouds covered the sun, and flashes of blue lightning crackled through them, making

the sky look terrifying—as if nature itself had become a reflection of Zavian's fury.

Following Zavian's command, Kalene bowed respectfully and disappeared within a moment.

Zavian's eyes turned deep blood-red, as if embers were burning within them.

Meanwhile, Sheyaan lay on the ground, writhing in pain, running her hands over her body as if the fire inside her would burn her alive.

"I... I'm in so.. much pain..." Aaah!"

Sheyaan said in a trembling, painful voice. She was struggling to breathe, her breaths uneven and suffocating.

Zavian immediately held her hand tightly and reassured her,

"I'm right here... just hold on a little."

But the burning sensation was so intense that Sheyaan was losing consciousness.

She felt an unbearable heat and began trying to remove her clothes.

Her trembling hands moved to unbutton her frock, but Zavian quickly grabbed her hands to stop her from hurting herself.

Crying and shaking, Sheyaan said,

"I feel so hot... too much... I can't breathe... I'm suffocating..."

She struggled desperately to free her hands, but Zavian didn't let go.

Seeing her condition, Zavian raised one hand toward the sky. From his hand, a red lightning-like energy shot upward and struck the sky.

At that very moment, thunder roared, and within minutes, heavy rain began pouring down.

The cold rain fell directly over both Sheyaan and Zavian. Sheyaan was completely drenched in the rain...

Lying under the heavy rain, Sheyaan struggled to breathe. The cold drops of rain had reduced her burning heat, but her pain remained just as intense.

Her breathing became uneven; she felt like she was suffocating. She opened her mouth, trying to gulp in air, but she still couldn't breathe properly.

Seeing Sheyaan so close to death, Zavian made a serious decision.

He tightly held her hand and gathered all his powers into his palm.

A red glow surged through both Zavian and Sheyaan's rose tattoos.

A strange, crackling red energy emerged from his hand, and without hesitation, he struck directly at the spot below

Sheyaan's neck—where the orange light was flickering like lightning.

The impact was so powerful that Sheyaan's entire body shook violently. A loud scream escaped her—

"Aaaaaah!"

In unbearable pain, she gripped Zavian's hand tightly and said in a trembling, breaking voice:

"No... don't... please... it hurts... it hurts so much..." no!"

Her eyes were tightly shut in pain, and tears mixed with the rain kept streaming down her face.

Both Zavian and Sheyaan were completely drenched in the rain—on one side, there was the storm of nature, and on the other, the storm of their emotions...

Zavian used all his power. He held Sheyaan's hand tightly so she wouldn't stop him—and so his powers wouldn't fail him either.

He tried every possible way to pull that dangerous orange energy out of her body, but each time, he met only failure.

Frustrated and furious, Zavian looked toward the sky and let out a roaring scream:

"Saaahhh!! Why aren't..my powers working?!"

Meanwhile, Sheyaan's condition kept worsening. Her breaths were fading, as if her soul was slowly slipping away.

Zavian could no longer bear to see her in such pain. Clenching his brows, he called out in a pained voice:

"Sheyaan... open your eyes! Sheyaan! Look at me..."

But her eyes remained closed. It felt as if she was counting her final breaths.

Zavian, who had always been cold and unfeeling, was now completely shaken from within seeing her like this.

At last, a final spark of hope appeared in his eyes. In a flat yet trembling voice, he whispered to himself:

"I... I can do anything for you."

Then, with utmost gentleness, he lifted Sheyaan's head from the ground and placed it in his lap...

Gently brushing his hand over her innocent face, Zavian said in a voice filled with pain,

"I won't.. let you go so easily... my silent heartbeat."

At that moment, Zavian's entire being was drowning in pain. Lightning roared across the sky, as if bearing witness to his agony.

He placed one hand beneath Sheyaan's head and supported her neck with the other, pulling her so close that their breaths began to collide.

Slowly, Zavian leaned closer to her. He looked at her closed eyes, felt her worsening condition, and noticed her trembling

lips—struggling desperately for breath. Without wasting a second, he pressed his cold lips against her trembling ones.

In that single moment, it felt as if every distance between them had vanished forever.

Thunder exploded across the sky shaking the very air. Rain lashed dawn mercilessly.

while violent winds tore through the terrace turning it into a chaotic storm.

And in the amidst or it all--today Zavian and Sheyaan had become a part of that storm.

Their union, in the midst of this mysterious force of nature, was writing a new story of its own.
