She didn't give him time to recover.
The first kick slammed into his ribs—a concussive blow that folded his torso inward.
The second followed immediately, snapping his head sideways as the air cracked from the force.
Ben grunted, barely managing to stay airborne.
Then the top layer of her gloved right arm split open.
Metal panels unfolded with a hydraulic hiss. Energy spiraled inward as the cannon charged—white-blue light condensing until it screamed.
Oh—
The blast fired.
He was driven straight down.
The impact hit like a meteor.
Ben tore through the air, slammed into the school's track and field, and kept going—cratering through asphalt, dirt, and concrete in a violent cascade. The ground ruptured outward in a perfect ring, shockwaves rippling across the field as debris rained skyward.
He lay embedded at the center of the crater, steam curling off his body.
"Ghh—"
He coughed, trying to push himself up, one arm refusing to respond.
"…System," he muttered through clenched teeth. "Isn't this where you reveal yourself and remind me I still have a gacha ticket?"
A beat.
Then—
Ding!

Ding!

A massive holographic wheel materialized above the crater, spinning slowly. Its surface was split cleanly down the middle—
One half themed after Ben 10, the other after The Powerpuff Girls.
Icons glowed as the wheel rotated:

Ben exhaled slowly, lying in the crater as sirens wailed in the distance and a shadow moved within the clouds above.

"…Of course. Just give me a second," he muttered.
His eyes snapped to the sky as he threw up his hands, constructing a barrier just in time to block another technologically enhanced kick. His hair flared as he was pushed backward.
"Aren't you annoying."
He spoke as the ground rose into a wall—just as Princess Morbucks blasted through it with her arm cannon.
"Heroism tends to feel annoying to villains," she shot back, steam rolling off her cannon in the rain.
Blast. Blast. Blast.
Her eyes darted, tracking him as she fired smaller bursts of energy.
Ben gathered kinetic force through his uninjured arm and shot straight toward her cannon.
His fist slammed into the side of its muzzle.
The tech shattered, breaking apart from her arm.
"You—!" Her eyes widened. "Do you have any idea how much that cost to build?!"
She aimed her other gloved hand at him.
The thin glove transformed into an identical arm cannon.
Just my luck.
Ben kicked off the ground as the weapon warmed up.
"Die!!" she screamed, unleashing a torrent of blue energy.
Her heels lifted off the ground with two sharp stomps.
"That's not a very heroic thing to say," Ben replied, deflecting part of the blast as his mana grazed her tech.
"What if I didn't know it'd break in one hit?"
Morbucks froze for half a second, realizing how she sounded.
"Uh—I mean, you'll pay for this! The hands of justice will be swift!" Her expression shifted from anger to annoyance, then wounded pride. "Are you calling my cannons cheap?!"
"The one you destroyed had a net worth higher than you'll ever see in your life."
Ben's gaze shifted.
The three sisters burst from the building in tight formation—too coordinated to be accidental.
Buttercup led the charge, her expression hardened with resolve.
Morbucks laughed, mistaking their arrival for backup.
"That your reinforcement? Huh. To think a loser like you has his own minions."
She fired without hesitation.
Ben intervened.
Why?
Because who in their right mind helps their enemies?
That was exactly what he wanted Morbucks to think—and it worked.
"I was right~"
"But don't think numbers change anything."
She reached behind herself, pulling out a flash grenade.
"I'm still the queen. Visor on!"
A golden pair of tinted glasses unfolded from behind her ears, snapping into place as she hurled the grenade upward—
FLESHHHH!!!
The light wasn't just blinding.
It was overwhelming—illuminating half the school in pure white.
"I can't see!" Bubbles cried.
"Me neither!" Blossom shouted. "What was that?!"
"It was that girl!" Buttercup snapped. "We need to get to them—now!"
She was about to move when a buzzing sound filled the air.
Their vision cleared just enough to reveal countless small marbles floating nearby.
Buzz. Buzz.
"!!"
Buttercup punched one on instinct as it began to glow.
It exploded in her face.
"Buttercup!!"
"Cough—cough—I'm fine… but what are these things?"
Blossom reached for one—it started to glow.
She blew, trying to freeze them before they could detonate.
"Huu—ffffffwwww!"
They froze, ice coating their surfaces as they dropped.
For a moment, it worked.
Then the fallen marbles heated from within.
They shattered their ice shells and rose back into position.
Blossom surged forward—only to be met by renewed glowing hostility.
She retreated, regrouping with her sisters as the light dimmed.
They turned back-to-back.
Hundreds—thousands—of golden marbles hovered a few meters away, dormant but menacing.
"They're landmines," Blossom said quickly. "Inactive unless you get close—then they explode."
She looked up.
A trap.
Meant to keep them occupied.
Above them, Ben and Morbucks continued tearing through the sky unchecked.
"Damn it," Buttercup hissed, watching Ben get blasted through the air. "We can't just sit here."
Blossom didn't know who the newcomer was—but she was dealing just as much damage as Ben.
Lasers carved across the field. Cannons fired without restraint.
A news helicopter hovered nearby—nearly shot out of the sky as Morbucks tried to predict Ben's movements.
"We need to clear the swarm," Blossom said, snapping into command. "Bubbles, Buttercup—laser vision. I'll freeze them first to make a path."
They nodded.
There was no other choice.
Blossom inhaled deeply—
Freeze!
