The city walls, built entirely from white stone, were magnificent enough to astonish the entire world. But who could have imagined that behind such beautiful walls lay the filthiest sins in the world?
Tiger lay on a protruding section of the cliff. He had planned to rest for a while, but he tossed and turned, unable to sleep no matter what he did.
Just like that, he watched the moon sink and the sun climb into the sky from the other side. Gentle sunlight fell across his body. He forced himself to focus, held a rice ball in his hand, and patiently waited for the appointed time to arrive.
There was roughly half an hour left before the operation began.
Tiger moved.
He slowly climbed upward. Strangely enough, though the weather had just been perfectly clear, dark clouds now covered the sky. Occasional thunder rumbled from within the clouds, and dazzling bolts of lightning tore across the heavens.
A torrential downpour was about to arrive.
The sky was as gloomy as night.
Tiger climbed onto the Red Line, and the towering city wall appeared before him. Without the slightest hesitation, he took the climbing tools he had prepared from his backpack and flung them upward with the arm strength of a Fish-Man. They hooked onto the target with ease.
In only a few breaths, he appeared atop the city wall.
His movements were incredibly light. They produced only the faintest sound.
And at that very moment, a clap of thunder exploded across the entire Holy Land.
A torrential rain came pouring down.
For Tiger, who was a Fish-Man, this was simply the greatest possible aid.
The rainwater became his weapon. Casually grabbing a few drops, he flung them toward the lazy guards. Several soft sounds of flesh being pierced rang out, and the droplets punched straight through their brains.
In the rain, Tiger's figure was like a ghost.
He infiltrated Mary Geoise at extreme speed. The gloomy, rainy weather gave him the best possible cover. But his luck was truly remarkable as well. It seemed as if even the heavens were helping him. Along the way, he actually did not encounter any of Mary Geoise's patrol guards.
Pangaea Castle…
Looking at the guards by the entrance, Tiger's mind worked furiously.
To enter Pangaea Castle, there was only this one entrance. Trying to scale the walls and get inside was unrealistic. The walls of Pangaea Castle had been specially treated, and since it was not yet time for the shift change, there were quite a few guards above as well.
"What should I do…"
There was not much time left.
The merchant convoy disguised by the Revolutionary Army had already approached Mary Geoise. There were probably only five minutes left before they arrived.
"I'll risk it!"
A fierce light flashed in Tiger's eyes. Several droplets of water secreted from his red palms. He raised his hand and aimed at the throats of those guards.
But at that moment, a group of high-ranking World Government officials suddenly appeared.
Accompanied by their nauseating laughter, the guards respectfully greeted them. Tiger did not know what those people were entering Pangaea Castle to do, but the guards walked forward, took the not particularly heavy briefcases from the officials, and left only two people behind to continue watching the gate. The rest of the guards busied themselves trying to curry favor with those officials.
Tiger sneered.
Such rotten bastards, and this was supposed to be Pangaea Castle, the dwelling place of gods?
It was nothing but a pile of dogshit!
With the defenses this weak, this was truly a heaven-sent opportunity.
Watching those people enter Pangaea Castle, Tiger saw the remaining two guards lean close together and whisper. Behind their armor, their hidden expressions showed obvious dissatisfaction.
After all, the man at the head of that group was one of the top figures in the World Government, someone who held tremendous power. If they could form a connection with such a high-ranking official, the benefits would be beyond imagination.
"Hey, did you hear? That Seven Warlords of the Sea thing the Government created actually has a Fish-Man in it!"
Taking advantage of the two guards chatting idly, Tiger quietly approached. But just as he drew near, he heard one of them speaking in a mysterious tone.
"A Fish-Man? That's rare. But a creature like that is actually qualified to stand alongside us? He should just obediently be a slave, shouldn't he?"
The other guard spoke with disdain. His companion looked around left and right. No one appeared in his field of vision. Only then did he quietly lean closer and lower his voice.
"You still don't know? That Fish-Man's appearance seems to match the Fish-Man slave who escaped from Saint Rozunav!"
Tiger, who had just been about to make his move, felt endless fury flash through his eyes.
Rozunav.
How could he possibly forget that name?
That was the damned Celestial Dragon who had enslaved him!
And likewise, he was one of the targets Tiger absolutely had to kill during this infiltration of the Holy Land!
"What? You're joking, right? Putting aside whether that Fish-Man is even still alive, even if he is, he wouldn't be stupid enough to swagger around the sea so openly, would he? Back then, Saint Rozunav flew into a terrible rage and killed quite a few servants!"
"Yeah, exactly. And not long ago, Saint Rozunav bought another Fish-Man. You didn't see it! That Fish-Man slave was covered in whip marks. He was beaten absolutely miserably!"
The two guards continued chatting back and forth.
Tiger listened from the side, his eyes wide with fury. His slightly curled hair stood on end, and his sharp teeth nearly shattered from how tightly he clenched them.
The anger in his heart could no longer be suppressed.
Two droplets of water flew out.
The voices of the two guards stopped abruptly.
"Fish-Men should absolutely never be slaves!"
Tiger had no intention of hiding anymore. After all, there was not much time left.
He quickly infiltrated Pangaea Castle. Those two corpses would likely be discovered very soon, but none of that mattered anymore.
"The high-grade explosives Mr. Roldy prepared… Gods? Repent in hell!"
Several small black iron balls appeared in Tiger's hand. Inside them were the highest-grade explosives that Roldy had obtained through the Underworld .
Tiger took out a fire striker, lit them, and casually tossed one explosive into a nearby mansion.
He did not care who was inside.
Because among those living in Pangaea Castle, not a single one was decent.
Boom!!!
A deafening explosion erupted.
The gorgeous mansion was instantly more than half destroyed. The vast ruins suited those sinful bastards quite well. Flames rose, burning fiercely even in the heavy rain.
The light of revenge would not fade from Tiger's eyes.
The explosion tore apart the peace of the Holy Land.
However, the high and mighty Celestial Dragons never once realized that they could be in danger while staying in the Holy Land. They did not care about the sound of explosions at all. Someone would handle it.
Compared with something so boring, the wails of the slaves before them, the gluttonous feasts, and those unspeakable games were the true things that did not waste their lives.
However, the sounds outside gradually grew louder.
...
Saint Rozunav threw away the blood-stained whip in his hand and looked at the dying Fish-Man before him. A sick smile appeared on his face.
As if he still had not enjoyed himself enough, he picked up a thin, cicada-wing-like knife from the toys hanging on the wall.
"Fefefefe! I suddenly feel like eating shark fin tonight!"
The Fish-Man's eyes were filled with numbness.
Fear?
That emotion had long since vanished.
Right now, he was in such pain that he wanted to die. But whenever he thought of his family on Fish-Man Island, he could never muster the courage.
Seeing the madman before him press the blade against his back, the Fish-Man closed his eyes in agony. He had already imagined what would happen next.
However, the pain did not come.
What came before the pain was the sound of an explosion, followed by a burst of noisy curses.
"Damn it! Didn't I say no one was allowed to disturb me?! All of you bastards had better quiet down, or I'll have all your wives dragged off and fed to the fish!"
With his amusement interrupted, Saint Rozunav flew into a rage. Cursing furiously, he walked out of the basement.
What greeted him head-on was a fist larger than his head.
Bang!
He had never experienced such pain before.
His body flew backward and rolled back into the basement.
The Fish-Man froze.
Then, in the next moment, he saw a scene he would never forget for the rest of his life.
A figure appeared at the entrance to the basement. A little light from behind shone across that tall man's body.
He looked…
Just like—
A savior!!!
"Do not be afraid, my kin!
"I am Fisher Tiger!
"And I have come to bring you freedom!"
