"What are you doing here?" Deborah asked hastily. She looked at her daughter, giving her an intimidating gaze.
Seeing the look on her mother's face, Maeve hid her face behind her palms. "Mom, can't I visit my friends?" She grumbled. With a huff, she instinctively walked to her mother and threw her arms around her.
"Never mind." Deborah cooed, placing a simple kiss on her forehead.
Emily stood watching, a smile appeared on her face as she took in the mother-daughter chemistry. She then turned to her own daughters. "What are you girls doing?" She asked, her gaze locked on Saddie, who stood with a pair of tongs in her hands.
"We were just having a little fan?" Beat replied. She walked to her mother, hugging her. The rest of the girls followed one after the other. The girls exchanged hugs and greetings with the women.
