"Is there someone out there?" She asked, her voice created a ripple in the silent night.
However, no one replied after a while.
Her eyes scanned the surrounding, which was full of darkness. There was only dim light coming from the nearest lantern, but it wasn't enough to dispel the darkness around her surroundings.
"Xiao Xue, is it you outside?" She tried again.
That little white cat was sometimes as mischievous as its owner, not sparing a chance to play with her.
Stillness echoed after she uttered these words.
She waited for Xiao Xue to show itself, slowly stepping into the dark. As she thought of something, she went back to the kitchen to grab a lantern and exited the room again.
Qingzhu hadn't returned after a while, and it was making her worry.
She was worried that the sounds actually had come from Qingzhu getting hurt or something. So, she decided to go find her.
