While they were led by Anna to her family's castle , Riley communicated with his Ceruledge and got to know her better.
Despite it's pretty impressive power , the pokemon appeared to have the mind of a new born animal or child. Due to this , their conversation was using emotions , feelings and occassional surface thoughts.
In it's spiritual form , Ceruledge remained invisible and was just a metre tall ethereal humanoid Phantom with a transluscent blue form surrounded in transluscent purple flames.
It stayed beside Riley with the stance of a protector but still also seemed to regard Riley as it's parent.
Infact , Riley already found himself liking the pokemon alot more than expected because of both it's cute awe and adoration for him. It thought he was it's father , atleast according to the feelings Riley could sense.
Unfortunately he didn't have enough magic to summon it's physical form right now since the magic used to construct his body alone was over 20 times Riley's current reserves.
So he first had to grow his magic reserves higher then he will be able to summon Ceruledge into a body made out of concentrated magical energy.
That was another thing on Riley's bucket list , increase his magic energy reserves by practicing magic.
When they finally settled into the castle , Riley completed the last sign in and got more 'basic' rewards.

'Well guess I'm armed for most Vampires and wolves , either the holy blessing or the silver will kill them.'
Vervain extract was currently pointless since the effect may be only for Vampires in the Originals universe. Meanwhile , the 100 gold coins were not much since he was already fairly rich back home.
Riley put everything into the inventory then went straight into meditation while keeping an eye on Anna , Carl and Van Hellsing in the armoury a couple of rooms away.
Riley had pretty much understood the plot points that were recognized by the system and he was 80% sure that there would be a sign in opportunity very soon which he would definitely not miss.

As expected , Riley felt a prescence prowl throught the town of Transylvania very late in the night snapping him straight out of his meditation.
'Finally , time to meet the coolest version of fantasy werewolves ever.'
His current observation Haki boosted by Omnidirectional Dragon senses and generally enhanced Senses gave him a nearly perfect mental picture of Anna's brother approaching the castle in his werewolf form.
Riley kept track of him as he climbed the castle walls then entered thrpugh a window and started sniffing and prowling around.
When comparing werewolves , Riley strongly believed that no other werewolves captured the myth better than this.
Most times , werewolves transformed into normal sized wolves or they just didn't match the werewolf lore at all.
But this was a wild ravenous humanoid wolf with jacked muscles and supernatural physical abilities , plus they transformed on the full moon wether they liked it or not.
A werewolf from the head to toe without room for doubt. There just wasn't a better representation of werewolves than this.
Infact , Riley had already been wondering if the blood of a werewolf was enough to infect a human , because then he could make his own werewolf army.
An army like that would be able to deal with any stupid weakling who wanted to bother him and maybe he would even be able to evolve them later on so they grow stronger.
If blood didn't work then maybe he could take a fang or a claw or maybe some spit , he would have to test all of them and see which one worked which meant getting samples of all parts.
"Sorry Velkan , I'll make sure to save you after getting my samples."
Despite the potential sign in later when Velkan died , Riley planned to save him and cut some of the plot short because the number of interesting events was getting really low.
Even Riley's inner explorer which usually made him curious was getting bored because there wasn't a single challenge around so he would probably just speed run Dracula's defeat.
As Riley was still pondering , Anna woke up and started literally following the plot like something was calling out to her.
It was hard to believe she got up because she had heard anything since the castle was really large and a human wasn't supposed to hear that well so it must have been fate or something like that.
Less than a metre behind her , Riley followed in the form of a small green snake about 2 feet long.
This was one of the best uses for Shapeshifting that basically every shapeshifter could quickly learn , stealth.
He was very near her but the princess basically didn't notice at all because Riley was small and , with some subtle manipulation , Riley had also created a small barrier around himself that nullified sound waves.
Infact , Riley already saw very high potential for being an assassin with shapeshifting abilities , he would probably follow in his mom's footsteps eventually even if only for a moment.
When they reached the open window , Riley slithered up a suit of Armour and sat on its head which gave him a better view of Velkan who was watching Anna from above.

When the screen opened , Riley ignored everything else and signed in expectantly.
The fact that only a werewolf can beat Dracula and this particular werewolf was important to plot made the chances of Riley getting better rewards high so he was curious what the system would give him.

Velkan continued stalking Anna and Riley probably should have kept watch over her but he knew nothing would happen to her at this point , the most important thing was checking out the details of the rewards he had just recieved.

- Evolves a normal human into a beastkin , giving them animalistic traits and animalistic abilities.
- Additional abilities can be developed or unlocked in the future and further evolution can occur under specific conditions.
- Silver for wolf beastkin , red for Spider beastkin and yellow for lion beastkin.
These potions could help Riley make a fairly powerful group of subordinates who could do the stuff he didn't want , and they were perfect for strengthening future allies too so that was a win.
[Lunar essence cores]
- Intact core of a moon spirit concentrated with pure Lunar essence.
- Increases affinity with night creatures and children of the moon , strengthens physical abilities by 20% , etc. (Small chance of developing a moon attribute spiritual core.)
- Compatible with the host.
[Alpha Werebeast essence]
- Transforms one into a were creature based on the creature whose blood is fused with it.
- Must be fused with the blood of an organic entity. The alpha can turn others with a bite and has full control of the turned.
This time , all the rewards were interesting in their own way , like the Lunar essence Cores. He could basically get an affinity for lunar abilities and powers ontop of his already strong connection to the sun.
Maybe he would even get to meet his aunt in the near future.
And best of all was the werebeast essence , if he fused it with the right blood , that would boost his power and give him a cool transformation. And there was enough to turn two other people who could then turn more people.
With the essence in Riley's hands , there was now no reason to get samples from Velkan , which saved him alot of time and trouble.
'Well , everything goes in the inventory for now. Let's first deal with this werewolf mess.'
Slithering off the helmet , Riley dropped into the air transforming back into his human form then landing softly on the ground just as the sound of a gun shot rang out.
