Three adventurers were running and shouting comically at each other trying to survive for their life.
Gido: "This whole mess is your fault Kavel! What kind of idiot goes around stabbing ants nest!"
Kaval: "Shut up and show your leader some respect damnit!"
Eren: "No, you haven't earned my respect! If I die today then I swear that I'm coming back to haunt you!"
Kaval: "Hahahaha, well come on Eren, that's not evens possible and do you want to know why! Because I'm gonna be dead with you!"
Eren: "AHHHHHH!"
Suddenly, a fourth recent member of the party stopped running and drew her sword, ready to fight the ants. Her sword became coated in flames and she readied herself for the incoming onslaught.
As they grew nearer, she prepared a plane emission spell which transformed into black flames and then burned the battlefield Infront of her.
She rushed in to eliminate the remaining ants and cleaning scorched them all to cinders.
Yet one of them survived and jumped out to devour her. As she prepared to cut this one aswell, a sudden feeling of weakness coursed through her body. The ant was ready to eat her…
…When black thunder fell from the sky and ruptured the land, eviscerating the ant Infront of them all.
As the dust cleared, the party responsible saw that the one that made that spell… was a slime.
And Rimuru saw something unexpected. The one that he was destined to be with was right Infront of him.

The four adventurers settled in and helped themselves to the food that was served very aggressively.
The initial three was a party with the leader being Kavel and the last member was a temporary member that just traveled with them for convenience.
"I'm not a bad slime slurp!" The line had gotten a laugh out of the masked girl. Something that Rimuru noticed as recognition.

"Hey, can I talk to you about something? Are you from-"
"That line you said, it was from a game right?"
"Huh?"
"I'm not a bad slime slurp."
"Huuuuuh."
Shizu picked up the slime and they talked about their own respective reincarnation dilemmas.
Rimuru told her about how he had been stabbed…very heroically.
And Shizu lamented about how she was summoned into this world in a very tragic way, a girl suffering in both the worlds she was in.
Rimuru went on to show his memories about what happened in the previous world.

As the team was leaving the village, ready to embark out into the forest once again, before Shizu stopped moving and began convulsing violently, her body began to fall down and her mask crack and out came a spire of fire.
The fire shot into the sky and and created clouds that enveloped the village. Shizu's body began to float up in a ball of fire.
It was only now did the adventurer realize the true identity of Shizu, the conqueror of flames and student of Chaos.
As the transformation completed, the new visage had appeared to replace Shizu. The greater fire spirit Ifrit.
As Ifrit made his appearance, he created a shockwave that sent the adventurers flying and the slime barely holding on.
Rimuru ordered Rigur and Rigurd to evacuate everyone and called onto Ranga ride into battle like a valiant knight.
The salamanders that Ifrit summoned was burning the settlements. Rimuru attempted to use water blade on the salamanders and Ifrit himself but it all just evaporated when it got close.
Yet he noticed that Erens icicle Lance seemed to effectively pierce the salamanders.
So Rimuru had an idea, he had Eren shoot the icicle lance at himself which she refused at first but reluctantly accepted afterwards.
The icicle lance hit Rimuru and he just absorbed it, creating a new move that he used on all the salamanders, icicle shotgun.
Although he noticed that the icicle shotgun did much more than he anticipated, he asked Great sage what was going on but it couldn't analyze it in anyway.
Yet the lack of appraisal had told him enough. The ice magic he had just acquired and used had become chaos ice magic and applied fixation on all the salamanders, slowing their movements until they were all completely frozen over.
The last salamander however got too close and detonated itself right Infront of Kaval's party. The adventurers were completely out of commission leaving Ranga to evacuate them to safety.
This left the battlefield to Rimuru and Ifrit alone.
As they faced off each other. Ifrit began with an entourage of body doubles.
Rimuru responded in kind with a barrage of icicle lances that pierced each double and ultimately ended each one.
As Rimuru stopped the barrage, he realized that that was just a stall tactic to prepare another spell.
As Rimuru only now realized the rune circle from below, he was too late and was enveloped in a spire of flames.
Rimuru began going down into a emotional downward spiral as he was lamenting the end of his new life ending so quickly.
"Hey, why am I not dying… or feeling any sort of pain? Why is this taking so long?"
{Due to thermal fluctuation resistance, any flames that come into contact will be automatically nullified}
"Ah!"
{Mmhmm}
"Why the hell do you sound exasperated! But if we're immune to fire… than we're playing on easy mode!" It was only now that Rimuru remembered that he was the damn protagonist and everything was a cheat to him.
As Ifrit turned around like a cool guy walking away from an explosion, a sudden string came out of the flare circle and wrapped around him.
When the flare circle receded Ifrit saw that Rimuru was completely fine. Rimuru began boasting about how powerful he is and then completely devoured him.

As the fire settled and the chaos ceased, Rimuru noticed that Shizu's body was just lying there.
And then he picked her up and carried her back to a tent.
