"HUH!" Milim was surprised by my sudden declaration, "Why!?"
"Uh… because I don't want to." I answered her as if she was stupid and that this was the most obvious answer.
"But I am far stronger than you. Doesn't that mean that you should obey me?" Milim wailed.
"Although that is the law of monsters. I would rather not."
Milim's eyes gleamed with an idea, "Why don't we have a battle, loser has to submit to the winner." Milim seemed proud of her intelligent mind.
"Beat me up all you want, I ain't serving you."
"How dare you speak like that to lady Milim." Middray was outraged.
"Forgive me Father but you have to admit that your revered ruler is being a little unreasonable." My words caused Middray's bald head to pulsate with networking veins… it looked both grotesque and funny at the same time.
"Look Milim, beat me up, kill me, I don't care. I just ain't serving you."
Milim stubbornly turned her back, "Fine then, why did you come here?"
"You know why I came here." I can finally propose my purpose for visiting, jeez it took long. It had stumped me why Milim would want to support this Walpurgis, my only guess was that she saw someone interesting to play with. Now the reason became apparent, she felt the resonance of the stars within me, from across the fucking world. She could feel that familiar power within another person.
Milim looked me up and down, "Is it really that what I think it is?"
I turned off my Celestial haki, Middray almost shit himself but Milim was mesmerized. The beauty and majesty of his aura, it's existence was like the radiance of creation itself.
"I came here in need of help. I want to know how you can control stardust." I asked Milim.
Milim wasn't surprised by his query, the surprising part was the fact that the stardust merged with his spiritrons instead of remaining as a skill. This is what made it hard to hard to control.
"I don't do things for free." Milim turned around stubbornly. It was clear that she was interested but she had some rational to not do work for free.
Her reasonability surprised me but not something I wasn't prepared for, "hold on a sec." I pulled out a basket from a portal and from the basket, a wrapped up sandwich.
Milim's gaze became filled with stars, her mouth with copius amounts of drool. She took the sandwich and began munching down, "oh mu god. What is this!" Milim was ecstatic.
"That is a chicken parm sando."
"I've made it official. You will be my personal chef."
"Temporarily and only if you teach me how to control this."
"Please, I don't make promises with weaklings and cowards. Shouldn't you be bowing to me and begging to work for me?"
"Ok then. Bye." I turned around and walked away
"WAIT!"
————————————————
'Well that was easy.'
Milim was explaining to me important points, "Firstly, I don't know if I can help you. Star magic has affected us in completely different ways."
"Yeah I know. My energy is the only thing affected whereas you have the skill. Meaning that me coming to you for help might have been meaningless."
"It's not just that. Somethings deliberately preventing the infons to reach your heart core, preventing you from developing the skill to control it."
" So then, what do I do?"
" We are gonna began a far more brutal form of mana control."
I just sighed, "oh fuck."
————————————————
And now came the baseless torture… or not. I gave Milim too little credit, she might be immature and irresponsible but she is incredibly disciplined… and maybe a bit too motivated for food.
What Milim was doing was teaching me mana control from scratch, in a more refined manner. Now I'm not only trying to control the flow of my mana and aura but also the properties.
" You're so slow, hurry up!" Milim was complaining about my progress, which was already fast enough.
" Calm down, you annoying ass dragon. I'm going as fast as possible." The requirement was to manually configure the infons surrounding the heart core. Something was preventing the stardust from being controlled by me via a skill, but since it's fused into my spiritrons then I can control it via another way and to do that I need…
[Evolution of extra skill: Mana manipulation into extra skill: Mana domination… successful]
…There we go, now not only can I control the flow of mana within and around me but also the properties of around me. Not a permanent fix but it will do for now.
I got up and felt the aura pouring out of me become more tame.
'How intriguing.' Milim was interested in this man, not only was he immune to her Milim eye but the moment he allowed her to peak into his power level, he had a huge, gigantic astronomical amount of magicules. He also had a massive affinity with the dragon species, aswell as those related to dragons.
"Milim? You listening?" Milim snapped out of his thoughts when she heard a shockwave of sound vibrate through the air.
"You don't have to create such a loud noise!" Milim wailed and held her ponytails in pain, her Milim eye had finally become a detriment.
————————————————
"What are we doing here?" Milim had lead me outside.
"I'm gonna teach you the drago fist style." Milim took a stance that said praise me.
"Why, seems a bit much for our deal?"
"Drago fist utilizes the power of the stars culminating in the earth and infusing it into your arts. Since you have the power of the stars always infused into you, every art that you use will already be reminiscent of the drago fist."
" Oh ok, still seems like a bit much."
" I'm just trying to help you find a way to apply stardust into combat, if you can apply it into something as fast-paced as combat then you should be able to apply it anywhere else. Now give me your best fighting stance."
