Once Aerin entered Heaven, he saw Michael and stopped…
Did you explain everything to Michael?
"No, I didn't," Léōn replied.
Can I explain to him what is happening?
"Sure, my child, go ahead. I will see you soon," Léōn said as he continued walking.
Aerin then walked over to Michael and told him everything that had happened…
So that's what Léōn told me.
"Cool, looks like you are going to replace me as the general of The Absolute's army," Michael replied.
What? You're not upset?
"I am, but it's not like I can change anything. If The Absolute has a will, that will is well…Absolute," Michael said.
I guess that makes sense. Either way, I wanted to let you know what Léōn had said to me.
Then Aerin returned to walking beside Léōn…
"How did he take the news?" Léōn asked.
He didn't react much.
"Michael has been faithfully serving me since before time," Léōn explained as they arrived at their destination.
Then Léōn and Aerin entered a house that was made of divine gold and had many rooms…
"Here is your room, Aerin. Once you enter this room, you will have eternity to train and all the equipment you would need to train for your future battle with The Morningstar. And don't worry, no time will pass in your universe," Léōn explained as he opened a room in the house that was a complete void besides a strange vending machine.
Then Léōn left to let Aerin train…
What is this vending machine? Léōn said I would have everything I needed in here.
Then Aerin realized the vending machine contained training equipment specifically for him. There were dumbbells ranging in weight from 17.9 septillion kilograms to the weight of an entire universe. There was a punching bag that had the durability of all three layers of Aerin's universe combined. There was even a journal that, if read, would allow Aerin to absorb his universe within himself. But all of these things cost points…
A vending machine that I can't use because I don't know what the heck these points are, lovely.
Then a piece of paper appeared out of nowhere, materializing right in front of Aerin…
What is this? What is this?
The paper said, "In order to obtain points, you must complete tasks. Your first task is to purify your soul. To purify your soul, you must cast out any negative thoughts and emotions that still linger in your soul"…
As soon as Aerin had finished reading the paper, he began to look back into his soul and his life to find any negative thoughts and emotions…
I still hold a great anger towards the men who killed Ben. I also harbor regret that I couldn't spend more time with my old man. Could these be the negative emotions and thoughts?
Then Aerin began to forgive not just himself for not spending more time with his old man, but he also began to forgive all those who had wronged him and his family…
All done. To think that deep in my soul, I was still so angry and full of wrath. That would have corrupted my soul before long.
Then a paper fell from the sky, and it said, "You have obtained 200 points"…
Sweet, that means I can buy the first set of dumbbells from the vending machine.
Aerin then walked over to the vending machine, bought the first set of dumbbells that weighed 17.9 septillion kilograms, and began to work out with them…
Then Aerin received his second task. The paper said that he was to do 60 billion lunges with the weights without stopping…
With that, Aerin began his 60 billion lunges with an extreme amount of weight…
In Ouranos…
"I don't see what you see in this kid, Jesus. Why would you replace Michael with an inferior human?" one angel said.
"You dare question my son!" The Absolute said in a voice that shook all of existence.
"No, no, no. I would never. I just fail to see your plan," the angel said, bowing in fear.
"My plan is none of your concern. If you want to know why, then explain to me why you question me?" The Absolute said.
"Well, I just want to know," the angel replied.
"Oh, so you want knowledge. My son, give him the knowledge you gave Aerin," The Absolute commanded as Léōn began to imbue the knowledge that Aerin had comprehended into the angel.
"No, no, no! It hurts! Please, I beg you!" the angel pleaded.
"That's enough, my son," The Absolute said as Léōn stopped imbuing the knowledge into the angel.
"I felt as if my soul itself would be destroyed just because of the knowledge I had been given. How could that child endure all that knowledge?" the angel asked.
"That child endured more knowledge than that. You endured only 1% of the knowledge I had given that child," The Absolute replied.
"What?" the angel said, shocked.
"Exactly. Now for your punishment. You are hereby banished to Paradise to exist as a powerless dove for the rest of eternity," The Absolute said as the angel turned into a dove and was teleported to Paradise.
Back to Aerin…
10,000. Only a ton more to go. This is exhausting.
What is next for our main character? Will he endure the tasks to the end? Will he ever defeat The Morningstar? Find out soon…
To be continued…
