Chapter 21 - Chapter 21

Sky Island, God's Island.

The divine palace once occupied by Gan Fall, the former God of Sky Island, now bore a new plaque—

Thunder God Palace.

Just as Astrix finished a full day of training, a series of rapid notifications suddenly rang in his ears.

"Ding, your consigned item: Flash Shell has been purchased by user Mr. Warhammer. You have received 900 points. Current balance: 16,866."

"Ding, your consigned item: Picture Dial has been purchased by user Mr. Warhammer. You have received 450 points. Current balance: 20,016."

Astrix let out a long sigh of relief.

Mr. Warhammer—the richest user on the platform—had finally placed an order.

As expected, even items like the Picture Dial, essentially just cameras, were purchased without hesitation.

"Is this what Mr. Warhammer's world is like?"

He clearly didn't take points seriously at all.

Unlike Astrix, who had practically sold everything he owned and waited anxiously just to afford Iron Balloon.

The moment the points were credited, Astrix's fatigue vanished.

"Purchase Iron Balloon."

"Ding. Purchase successful. Iron Balloon will remodel your physique over 90 days. Increasing training intensity, consuming sufficient food, and resting will shorten the process."

"Current points balance: 16."

Looking at his nearly empty balance, Astrix immediately rolled out of bed and ran three more laps around Sky Island.

With the combination of Big Eater, Innate Divine Strength, and Iron Balloon, Astrix could finally shed his reputation as physically weak and step into the ranks of the sea's top-tier talents.

Big Eater enhanced digestion—rapidly restoring stamina, storing energy, and accelerating recovery. Even severe injuries could be mitigated with sufficient food.

It was, in essence, the ultimate endurance ability.

Innate Divine Strength, as a concept-level passive, ensured Astrix's raw strength was always greater then his opponent.

And Iron Balloon provided overwhelming defense.

Take Charlotte Linlin as an example—at just five years old, even giant blades shattered against her body, and a barrage of bullets couldn't leave a single mark.

With such power, Astrix felt like jumping into the sea and swimming a few laps immediately.

After another twelve hours of intense training—

Dragging his exhausted body, Astrix devoured a breakfast meant for thirty people in one sitting.

He couldn't help but wonder:

If this continued, would he eventually eat Sky Island into a food crisis?

Before arriving here, his daily consumption was already equivalent to twenty people.

After beginning focused training, it had increased by another fifty percent.

One person now equaled thirty Skypieans.

For a place with limited land resources, this would inevitably have an impact.

"I should find time to go to the Sabaody Archipelago and exchange the gold in my system space for Devil Fruits."

There wasn't a second Mr. Warhammer on the platform. This opportunity to earn large amounts of points through shells was clearly a one-time windfall.

Astrix had already noticed multiple purchase requests on the trading platform:

[Seeking to buy: Laser Dial — 200 points. Pirates, don't overprice it.]

[Seeking to buy: Octopus Balloon — 300 points. Big brother, can you return Musou Isshin? Price negotiable.]

"I bought Musou Isshin with my own ability," Astrix muttered.

"Why should I return it?"

To acquire that blade, he had rushed from Loguetown to Sky Island without hesitation.

Return it? Ridiculous.

If they had the ability, they could come retrieve it themselves.

Without hesitation, Astrix took out an Octopus Balloon, accepted the commission, and completed the transaction in one smooth motion.

"Ding. Commission completed. You have received 300 points. Monthly commissions: 9/10. Current balance: 316."

"It would be great if there were more people like this…"

Normally, Musou Isshin's listed price—88,888 tons of gold—was astronomical.

For comparison, in his previous life, the top five countries in gold reserves held 8,133 tons, 3,350 tons, 2,452 tons, 2,437 tons, and 2,333 tons respectively.

Combined, that was still less than 20,000 tons.

But Shandora's massive golden structures were an exception—and Astrix had been lucky enough to follow Roger there and seize the opportunity.

One could only say he was fortunate.

As for the unlucky buyer from Teyvat—that was simply bad luck.

Days passed like this.

During the integration of the Shandians and Skypieans, occasional conflicts broke out, but they were quickly suppressed by the Thunder Cloud Guards.

Astrix rarely appeared in public.

However, he never missed the weekly training sessions for the Thunder Cloud Guards—each time defeating hundreds of them with overwhelming strength.

Because of this, the Thunder God's rule grew increasingly stable.

Marine Headquarters, Marineford.

After a full three-month leave, Marine Hero Garp returned to Marineford aboard his beloved dog-headed battleship and went straight to Sengoku's office.

Bang.

The door was kicked open.

Picking his nose, Garp shouted, "Why did you call me back so urgently? What's going on?"

Already exhausted from caring for a pregnant woman at home, and now being summoned so abruptly, Garp vented his frustration by helping himself to Sengoku's snacks.

Sengoku clenched his teeth, suppressing his anger, and tossed a document at him.

"After Roger's death, former Roger Pirate Douglas Bullet has attacked more than ten Marine outposts and destroyed numerous allied merchant ships."

"The World Government has ordered a Buster Call to capture him and imprison him in Impel Down."

Garp muttered, "So after Roger died, he's just venting by destroying everything?"

It seemed he wasn't the only one affected by Roger's death.

"Oh, right," Garp added.

"What about the rest of the Roger Pirates? Is Bullet the only one causing trouble?"

Sengoku pulled out more files.

"Silvers Rayleigh is coating ships in the Sabaody Archipelago. Scopper Gaban is missing. The others have remained relatively quiet."

"Beelzebub Astrix attacked CP9 recently and abducted a World Government prisoner."

"By the time Kizaru arrived, only the wreckage of a pirate ship remained. Astrix has been missing ever since."

"Nani?!" Garp's eyes widened.

"Wreckage? He's dead?"

Given that reckless kid's behavior, someone like him shouldn't fall so easily.

"Most likely dead," Sengoku replied.

"This Buster Call will be signed by both of us. We'll depart as soon as Bullet's location is confirmed."

"Fine," Garp agreed.

For a time after Roger's execution, Garp had indeed felt lost.

But after a month back home in Foosha Village, he had found a new source of motivation:

Throwing Beelzebub Astrix into Impel Down.

That kid was far too troublesome—acting entirely on impulse, without restraint.

For the world, someone like that could become either a disaster… or a savior.

However—

Garp could never have imagined…

That from this point onward, Beelzebub Astrix would completely disappear, as if he had truly died.
