She led Gregory to the living chamber and they sat down on the sofa. She kept wiping his tears but the tears refused to dry up.
"Briar invited me to come and see her when she was sick but I refused to go. Now I regret ever bearing so much grudge against them. I didn't even get the chance to bid her final goodbye because of a grudge.
"It's okay, you can still go and see her. You know where she was buried, right?" Lunara asked as she continued wiping his tears.
"Back then, I didn't even know where she was buried. I didn't care. To me, she was better off dead than alive. But now... I understand things differently." Gregory's voice dropped.
Lunara gave him a small, understanding smile.
"It's okay. That's how life is sometimes. I understand how you feel. There was a time when I wanted nothing to do with Daniel either. But now, I'm starting to understand why Emma keeps asking me to go see him. Maybe... it's time I did."
