After the assessment ended, everyone's scores were quickly released.
Kiana and the other two looked at their report cards, their faces filled with disbelief.
They had clearly defeated such a powerful Honkai Beast, so why did they fail?
"Sister Rita! Didn't we defeat that Honkai Beast? Why did we fail?!" Kiana immediately ran to Rita with her report card.
"The assessment of scores is not decided by us; this is the result given by the Lord Bishop," Rita said after taking Kiana's report card and looking at it.
"But..." Kiana still wanted to say something.
Rita directly opened the assessment of Kiana's scores on her terminal.
"Miss Kiana, let's first look at the Lord Bishop's evaluation to see where the problems are."
"Hmm, I want to see it. Our battle was so perfect! How could we fail?!" Kiana stretched her head to look at Rita's terminal.
The terminal displayed Kiana's various shortcomings.
However, most of them were minor issues.
The final problem was still in the battle.
It stated: This Valkyrie's state is not stable enough and requires enhanced training to maintain her state at its optimal level.
Kiana had no way to refute this evaluation.
After all, her other self was indeed much stronger than her.
Not just in combat, but also with Mei...
Kiana quickly shook her head, 'Mei must be mine! Even if it's another me! She can't snatch her away!'
"Miss Kiana, do you understand the basis for the Lord Bishop's failing grade now?" Rita said with a smile.
"Damn it! They're all minor issues!" Kiana said, somewhat unconvinced, but she still accepted this failure.
"If you failed this time, just wait for the next one. Your strength is already much stronger than a normal B-rank Valkyrie ♬ ~" Elysia appeared beside them at some point.
"Huh? Elysia? Why are you here? But I'm really unwilling. We clearly defeated that Honkai Beast."
"Alright, alright, it's just one failed exam, Kiana. It's not your first time experiencing it." Elysia said, then reached out to pat Kiana's head, the pouting Kiana-cat.
"Elysia, what you just said seems even more hurtful." Kiana's heart had already found a corner to draw circles in.
Kiana was still easy to comfort. Elysia just said, "Kiana, don't be sad. What if an excellent performance in a mission gets the Lord Bishop's approval? Then you can be directly promoted."
Immediately after, Kiana perked up and decided to go find Theresa for a mission.
Looking at the re-energized Kiana, "Miss Aili is really good at comforting people. Miss Kiana can recover her vitality so quickly."
"I just understand her better, that's all." Elysia shook her head.
"Alright, Rita, let's go back now. Mei said she's going to make us a feast ♬ ~" Elysia directly pulled Rita's hand and quickly followed Kiana.
At night, while sleeping.
These two people couldn't fall asleep quickly.
Kiana and Mei were both thinking about the day's events.
The two of them had never had such close contact.
Although it wasn't Kiana's intention at the time.
Mei touched her lips. Mei didn't care about the assessment results; she just wanted to make Kiana happy.
Finally, Mei smiled and fell asleep.
Mei was very happy, but Kiana was not.
Kiana had been talking to her other self.
Kiana had been nagging Sirin about kissing Mei for a long time.
"I'm telling you! If you put this much effort into training! You would have been able to use your armor proficiently a long time ago!" Sirin couldn't stand it anymore and directly pulled Kiana into her mental space.
Kiana, entering the mental space while conscious for the first time, curiously looked at the environment.
She saw a golden-eyed her sitting on a beanbag chair, holding a bottle of her favorite drink.
"So you've been enjoying yourself like this here all along!" Kiana walked over and snatched the drink from Sirin's hand.
"Huh? Me enjoying myself?" Sirin looked at Kiana with a strange gaze.
"Isn't that right? Here, you don't have to go to class, you don't have to go on missions, and there's good food..." Kiana counted on her fingers.
Sirin looked at her seriously for a moment, then sighed.
After a while, seeing Kiana still talking, Sirin directly pulled Kiana over and pinned her down.
"Have you said enough?" Sirin said with a frown.
"What's wrong? I didn't say anything wrong." Kiana glared fiercely at Sirin.
"Is that what you think? Then you can experience it yourself." Sirin finished speaking and waved her hand.
Kiana was about to say something when she realized she couldn't see anything. Although she could still feel her body, she couldn't move.
She had clearly opened her eyes, so why, why couldn't she see anything?
After a brief moment of panic, Kiana calmed down. She wanted to shout, to ask Sirin to let her out, but found she couldn't make a sound at all.
In this environment, time seemed to lose its meaning.
She had no idea how long had passed.
But not long after, Kiana returned to the room she was in just now.
"How do you feel?" Sirin's voice rang out above Kiana's head.
Kiana finally reacted, immediately sat up, and gasped for air.
"Do you know, the former me was in a place like that. Do you still feel comfortable now, the feeling of being all alone?" Sirin said with a disdainful tone.
Kiana turned to look at Sirin, then stopped speaking. If she had to stay there permanently, she probably would have gone crazy a long time ago.
"What kind of look is that?" Sirin looked at Kiana with a frown.
"Tsk, I don't need your pity, you weakling. Get out of here." Sirin couldn't stand Kiana's gaze anymore, so she waved her hand and sent Kiana back to reality.
