----

At the boundary of Lynn's spell, the air was torn apart, forming visible ripples of distortion. White steam rose like a mushroom cloud, instantly obscuring the entire scene.

There was a dead silence in the stands.

Everyone held their breath, staring at the rising white mist.

One second.

Two seconds.

Three seconds.

The white mist was blown away by the wind.

The image became clear again.

The Firewall still stood.

That blue flame barrier hadn't wavered in the slightest; flames still flowed across its surface, and its light was even more intense than before.

On the other side of the Firewall, the massive body of the Dragon hovered in mid-air, a hint of confusion appearing in its icy-blue vertical pupils.

Its breath had been blocked.

Inside the Firewall, Harry, Cedric, and Davies fell to the ground along with their brooms, rolling into a heap.

Right now, the three of them lay sprawled on the grass, gasping for air, their faces pale and their bodies drenched in cold sweat.

Harry's glasses were crooked. He struggled to lift his head, looking at the still-burning Firewall, and then at the figure with his back to them in the center of it.

Lynn stood there, wand in hand, motionless. His back, silhouetted against the flames, appeared exceptionally calm.

Harry opened his mouth, but not a word came out.

Cedric sat up as well. He looked at the Firewall and then at Lynn's back, his face filled with disbelief.

"This... what kind of magic is this?"

Lynn didn't look back.

He just slightly turned his face, catching a glimpse of the three disheveled champions behind him from the corner of his eye.

"Stop talking and run. You're hindering my performance here."

The three of them looked at each other.

They scrambled up from the ground, grabbed their fallen brooms, and mounted them without a word.

Whoosh—

The brooms took to the air.

The three figures shot toward the sky at the other end of the valley like arrows from a bow, disappearing into the distance in the blink of an eye.

Roar—!!!

The Norwegian Dragon let out a deafening roar.

Those vertical pupils stared fixedly at the three escapees, its anger almost tangible. It flapped its massive wings, bringing a flurry of frost mist as its huge body took flight—

"Since you're already here, don't be in such a hurry to leave."

A lazy voice came from below.

The Dragon's movement paused.

It lowered its head, looking at the tiny human at the bottom of the valley.

Lynn flicked his wrist.

That Blue Firewall instantly shot into the sky!

Under Lynn's control, the flames transformed in an instant into a behemoth comparable in size to the Dragon, charging straight for the it!

It was a giant dragon made entirely of fire.

Its body flowed with blue light, every scale condensed from leaping flames. Its wings spread wide, the tips trailing long tails of fire, each flap leaving a scorching trail in the air.

Roar—!!!

A roar erupted from the Fire Dragon's mouth, making the entire valley tremble.

The two dragons collided violently in the air!

Boom—!!!

A violent shockwave exploded from the point of impact, spreading outward in visible ripples. On the rock walls on both sides of the valley, countless stones were shaken loose, rustling as they fell.

The surrounding trees were snapped in half by the shockwave.

Caught off guard, the Norwegian Dragon took the full brunt of the collision.

Its massive body tumbled several times in the air before it finally managed to stabilize itself.

In all its years of life, it had never encountered anything like this.

A dragon made of fire? What is this thing?!

Roar—!!!

The Norwegian Dragon let out a roar, opening its massive maw to unleash a blast of fire toward the imposter!

The Fire Dragon didn't dodge.

It charged straight through the breath.

Red dragon fire and blue fiendfire collided with a crackling hiss; obscuring most of the sky.

But the Fire Dragon's silhouette didn't falter; it burst through the fire, opening its maw to bite fiercely at the Norwegian Dragon's neck!

The Norwegian Dragon jerked its body aside to dodge, simultaneously raising a front claw and swatting the Fire Dragon's flank.

Bang!

The strike was powerful, causing the Fire Dragon's body to shake violently; countless sparks showered down from it like a rain of fire.

But it didn't fall.

It bit back, clamping onto the Norwegian Dragon's front claw, and the flames began to corrode the layer of icy-blue scales upon contact.

Sizzle—!!!

In pain, the Norwegian Dragon roared, jerking its neck and using the massive horns on its head to ram the Fire Dragon's skull.

Bang!

Another loud crash.

The heads of the two dragons collided, and another shockwave exploded. The Fire Dragon's body shook violently, and the flames on its body dimmed slightly. But it held on tight, refusing to let go, and even increased its pressure.

The Norwegian Dragon struggled frantically, wings flapping wildly, tail sweeping—every attack carried world-destroying power. But the Fire Dragon was like a piece of plaster, stuck fast to its body, impossible to shake off.

"Oh!!!"

Ludo Bagman's voice boomed over the Quidditch Pitch, so excited it almost broke.

"Lynn has condensed a giant Fire Dragon from the flames!"

"That dragon is engaged in a fierce battle with the Norwegian Dragon!"

"The Norwegian Dragon has unleashed its breath! My God, that temperature is enough to melt steel—and the Fire Dragon charged straight in!"

"It's bitten the Norwegian Dragon's neck! The Norwegian Dragon is counterattacking with its horns! They've collided!"

Ludo's speech was as fast as a machine gun. He stood in the commentary box, gesturing wildly, wishing he could jump into the screen to narrate.

"The FNorwegian Dragon is swatting the Fire Dragon with its claws! That force is enough to shatter a stone wall—the Fire Dragon's body is shaking! Sparks are flying everywhere from the impact—but it hasn't let go! It's still biting!"

"This is a pure contest of strength!! The ultimate showdown between fire and fire!!!"

In the stands, everyone stood up.

No one could remain seated.

Every collision between the two dragons made them gasp in shock. The young Wizards clenched their fists, their faces flushed red, wishing they could jump in to help.

Though they didn't even know which side to help.

"The Fire Dragon has been thrown off!!!"

Ludo's voice suddenly rose in pitch.

On the big screen, the Norwegian Dragon gave a final, desperate shake, finally tossing the Fire Dragon off its body. The Fire Dragon tumbled several times in the air before stabilizing.

Its body was noticeably dimmer. The previous struggle had cost it a great deal of energy.

But its blazing white eyes still stared fixedly at the Norwegian Dragon opposite it.

The Norwegian Dragon hovered in mid-air, gasping for breath.

Its scales were covered in burn marks, and several spots on its neck were charred black, emitting wisps of blue smoke.

That last bite had nearly burned through its scales.

It stared at the Fire Dragon, then looked down at the tiny human at the bottom of the valley.

That human was still standing there, wand in hand, motionless.

He hadn't even looked up.

It was as if the two dragons fighting tooth and nail in the sky had nothing to do with him.

The Norwegian Dragon went silent.

It hesitated.

Should it continue the fight?

If it continued, even if it won, it certainly wouldn't come out unscathed. That dragon made from the blue fire was too difficult to deal with. The injuries on its body would take quite a while to heal.

But to go back in such a pathetic state? To just watch those three egg thieves run away?

Just as it was hesitating, a voice came from the bottom of the valley.

"That's enough."

Lynn looked up at the scarred Norwegian Dragon in the sky.

"You've been fighting for a long time; you've vented what you needed to vent. Those three are long gone; you won't catch them."

The Norwegian Dragon stared at him.

"Look at all those injuries," Lynn continued. "Won't it take ten days to half a month to heal? Instead of wasting time here, you'd be better off going back to guard the remaining eggs. If they get stolen again, you won't have anywhere to go to cry about it."

Norwegian Dragon: "..."

These words... why did they actually make some sense?

Lynn shrugged and gave his wand a gentle flick.

The giant Fire Dragon hovering in mid-air instantly turned into a flurry of sparks and dissipated into the air.

"Alright, go back," Lynn said. "Keep a closer eye on things next time."

The Norwegian Dragon stared at him for several seconds.

And then—

It let out a low roar, turned, and flew away without looking back.

Lynn watched the dragon disappear into the distance, retracted his gaze, and looked down at his wand. Then he looked up and waved toward a certain direction in the sky.

On the big screen, Lynn's face was clearly visible.

On the Quidditch Pitch, there was a dead silence.

Everyone stared blankly at the big screen.

A few seconds later—

Cheers!!!

Applause and cheers erupted like a volcanic explosion, making the entire stadium tremble!

"Lynn!!!"

"The Champion of Azkaban!!!"

"He drove the dragon away!!!"

Ludo Bagman stood in the commentary box, gesturing wildly and shouting at the top of his lungs:

"Lynn has repelled the Norwegion Dragon!!!"

"With the Fire Dragon he condensed, he head-on repelled this terrifying creature from the depths of the glaciers! The Hogwarts champions are safe! Lynn has accomplished the most astounding feat of this match!"

His voice had completely broken, but he didn't care at all.

In the stands, the Hufflepuff section had gone completely wild.

Edgar stood at the very front, hands raised above his head, frantically waving the Hufflepuff flag, his voice nearly hoarse from shouting:

"Lynn! Lynn! Lynn!"

William and Ollie stood behind him. Though not as wild, their faces were filled with the pride of "my brother is awesome."

Students from other houses were also caught up in the atmosphere and joined the cheering.

On the judges' panel, the expressions of the Principals were quite a sight.

Madame Maxime raised an eyebrow, a hint of a smile on her lips. Piquery leaned back in her chair, watching the big screen with interest. Principal Okoye nodded slightly, lost in thought.

Karkaroff's face had turned completely dark; he looked grim and said nothing.

Dumbledore put down his teacup, stroked his beard, and wore a gratified smile on his face.

"Young people are truly full of energy; it's much better than the gloom of old ashes. There's progress."

Several Principals nearby turned their heads in confusion, not understanding.

What does he mean?
