Lynn didn't rashly follow them to the School Infirmary. Instead, he took a winding path back to the Hufflepuff Dormitory.

As soon as he pushed open the dormitory door, Edgar rushed over and grabbed Lynn's arm.

"Lynn! You're back! Where's William? Did you find him?"

Lynn's expression was exceptionally grim. "I found him... but the situation is bad. He's been petrified. Professor McGonagall found him and has already sent him to the School Infirmary."

"What?! Petrified?!" Edgar's eyes nearly bulged out of his head. "Just like Madam Norris?! Merlin's beard! William, he—"

Before he could finish, he turned and tried to rush out the door.

"No way! I have to go see him!"

Ollie, whose face was equally pale, stepped forward and reached out to stop the impulsive Edgar.

He shook his head, speaking concisely but with a firm tone. "School Infirmary—going now, unwise. Heir, danger, might still be there."

Edgar froze for a moment, then realized.

"Right, right, right! We can't just go like this! It's too dangerous! Wait for me—I'll find my invisibility cloak, and we'll wear it to go!"

Ollie: "..."

Just then, Lynn opened the Undetectable Extension trunk.

Without looking back, he shouted at the two who were still arguing, "Both of you, come and help! Now isn't the time to go look—it's time to get to work! We're brewing the antidote!"

After saying that, he was the first to climb into the trunk.

Edgar and Ollie exchanged a look and immediately understood Lynn's meaning—he had a way. The two didn't hesitate any longer and followed him inside.

The world inside the trunk was vast. Lynn didn't stop and ran straight toward the specially designated "Magical Plant Cultivation Area."

When Lynn reached the area that simulated a suitable growing environment, he saw at a glance—under the continuous nourishment of Abundance, several Mandrakes on that plot of land had actually matured.

Their leaves were thicker and a deeper green, and the roots exposed above the soil were a healthy dark purple, showing an abundance of magic.

As for the remaining ones, although they weren't fully mature yet, their growth was extremely promising, likely only a few days away from maturity.

This speed was more than just a little bit faster than the Mandrakes in Professor Sprout's greenhouse, which wouldn't mature until the end of the school year.

By then, Edgar and Ollie had also run over, panting.

Lynn immediately issued instructions. "Edgar, go to the third materials shelf and get the moonstone powder, unicorn horn powder, and standard ingredient water!"

"Ollie, go to the workstation and prepare the silver knife, mortar, filter net, and that silver cauldron labeled 'Compound'! Quick!"

The two immediately split up to act.

Lynn himself took a pair of thick earmuffs from a nearby tool rack and put them on carefully.

Then, holding his breath, he precisely grasped the leaves of a mature Mandrake and carefully pulled it out of the soil.

"Waaaaaah—!!!"

...

At the workstation, an exquisite cauldron was set over a fire, the liquid inside bubbling and steaming.

The brewing of the Mandrake Reviving Potion had reached a critical stage; it only required patient waiting and timely stirring.

Edgar was restless at the side, pacing circles around the workstation and muttering:

"Why isn't it ready yet... Will William be okay... That damn heir..."

His shadow kept flickering in the rising steam from the cauldron, severely interfering with Lynn's view of the Potion's color changes.

Lynn was distracted by the movement and reached for a small glass bottle from a nearby shelf.

He placed the small bottle on the edge of the table and said impatiently, "Here, the latest improved version of the 'Invisibility Potion.' The effect lasts for two hours. Drink it and go see William—stop pacing around here."

Edgar's eyes lit up. He grabbed the bottle, pulled out the cork without hesitation, tilted his head back, and gulped it all down.

Ollie, nearby, also cast a curious glance at the bottle. Meeting Lynn's eyes, Ollie tactfully turned his head the other way.

The Potion took effect extremely quickly.

Before the urgency on Edgar's face could fade, he felt an intense wave of sleepiness wash over him.

He opened his mouth, seemingly wanting to say, "How does this Invisibility Potion make one so sleepy...", but before the words could come out, his eyelids drooped heavily, his body swayed, and he fell straight backward.

"Zzzzz—"

Lynn breathed a sigh of relief and gestured to Ollie. "Help me out—carry him to that resting bed over there. This dose is enough to keep him asleep until tomorrow morning."

Ollie nodded and moved the dead-asleep Edgar to a soft bed in the corner, even covering him with a thin blanket.

Without the interference, Lynn refocused all his attention on the cauldron.

He carefully adjusted the flame, following what he considered the optimal process—adding ingredients in sequence, stirring, and observing the Potion's transformation...

Early the next morning.

The three of them rushed to the School Infirmary and found Madam Pomfrey, who was busy running around.

Seeing the crystal bottle in Lynn's hand, a look of surprise immediately appeared on her tired face.

"Mandrake Reviving Potion? Oh, Merlin! This is wonderful! Quick, let me see the quality!"

She took a bottle, carefully checking the liquid's purity and color, then cautiously sniffing the scent. The look of approval on her face grew stronger.

"Perfect! Very perfect quality! Full of magic, precise formula—it's even more stable than those brewed by some senior healers! Child, you really are a potion genius!"

After Madam Pomfrey confirmed there were no issues with the Potion, she immediately led the three of them to William's bedside.

William was still lying in bed in that same stiff position from last night, his face ashen, with only the extremely faint rise and fall of his chest proving he was still "alive."

Looking at his friend in this state, Lynn's fists clenched so hard they cracked.

He swore: once William was cured, even if he had to dig three feet into the ground, he would drag that bullshit heir out. If he didn't give him the "ultimate pleasure" of the Cruciatus Curse coupled with the Immortal Curse, he'd write his name, Lynn, backward.

The effect of the Potion was almost instantaneous.

William's ashen complexion returned to a healthy flush at a visible rate. His stiff body began to tremble slightly, his frozen expression of terror gradually softened, and his eyeballs began to move under his eyelids...

A few minutes later, William coughed and slowly opened his eyes. His gaze was initially vacant but soon focused, seeing Lynn, Edgar, and Ollie gathered around the bed, as well as Madam Pomfrey.

"I... what happened to me? Lynn? Edgar? I feel like... I had a very scary dream..."

"Welcome back, William." Lynn breathed a sigh of relief and patted his shoulder.

Madam Pomfrey was overjoyed. She carefully gave William a full check-up and, after confirming he was completely recovered aside from being a bit weak and shaken, she hurried toward the other end of the ward with the remaining two bottles of Potion—where the similarly petrified Filch and his beloved Madam Norris lay.

In fact, Lynn had originally thought about only bringing one dose, but considering Harry's hard work cleaning the corridors, he decided not to make Harry work so hard. It definitely wasn't to get back at that affectionate call at the entrance of Flourish and Blotts—absolutely not.

After being given a few more bottles of nutrient potions, William was finally cleared to be discharged.

As the four of them walked out of the School Infirmary and headed back to the common room, Lynn couldn't help but ask about the details of last night.

"William, what exactly happened last night? Did you see what attacked you?"

William's body trembled almost imperceptibly.

"I saw Lockhart... I saw a very large snake, emerald green with yellow eyes... But I think we should go find the Principal first and tell him the situation. This is too dangerous—it's not something we can handle."

Lynn thought to himself, why does this description sound so much like a Basilisk?
