Chapter 110 - Chapter 110

"Wait, just like that?!" Kushina managed to gasp out, her eyes watering from her soup going down the wrong pipe as she looked from Tsunade to Kakashi. "You're just making Kakashi the Hokage just like that?"

Minato let out a stunned, breathy laugh, his eyes wide as he looked at the silver-haired ninja, his hand gently rubbing Kushina's back to help her recover from the shock. "Kakashi... the Sixth?"

Minato muttered before smiling proudly.

Naruto, Sasuke, and Karin were looking back and forth at Tsunade and the quiet Kakashi.

"What about you, Lady Tsunade?"

Sakura asked, wondering where she'd go after the training and what she'd do.

Tsunade lightly flicked the diamond mark on Sakura's forehead with a smile. "Sakura, this training won't be easy; I barely met the requirements to do it when I was younger, but now, with Kakashi's help, I should be able to learn all I need to in a couple of months."

Tsunade sighed softly as she thought back to the time Katsuyu originally offered the training. It was during the Second Ninja World War; she was too busy on the front lines and couldn't afford to leave, and then Dan and Nawaki both died in the war. By that time, she was far too grief-stricken to even think about the training, so she threw herself into training Shizune and creating her Strength of 100 Seals. She didn't know it then, but she was overworking herself and the seal, causing her to age rapidly; from that point on, she no longer qualified for training under Katsuyu, and she could only use the seal's chakra to keep herself looking younger.

But then that blonde brat came when she was at her lowest in life, when she was nothing but a horrible gambler and daytime drinker; it all started with a bet, because, of course, it was a bet. Then she was continuously pestered about this pink-haired girl beside her. Tsunade could never have foreseen that Sakura would not only learn her seal, but completely master it to a level that ensured it didn't drain her life with every use without her help. Her apprentice immediately recognized the issue and actively worked to remove the weakness.

Yes, that moment was when Tsunade knew she needed to step it up; it was because of this secret-hoarding, thousand-jutsu-copying headache sitting in front of her that she could finally improve herself. She would no longer have to feel like she was watching everyone move forward while she was stuck in the mud.

"I can't help but notice how quiet you've been, 'Lord Hokage'"

Tsunade grinned, storing her empty bottle back into her wrist.

Kakashi blinked, having spaced out after reading his most recent reward.

Reward: Time/Space Kamui workshop/training dimension

Description: A fully customizable dimension tethered to the user's space-time ocular power. The dimension is under constant time dilation of 1:21.

1 hour outside equals 21 hours inside the dimension.

A full 24 hours outside would then equal 21 days inside the dimension(3 weeks).

(This space will not provide the equipment needed to train or invent; that will need to be provided by you, but as mentioned before, you can freely customize this space; just think about what you'd like when inside.)

(Side Note: This space is yours and yours alone; no one else can enter unless you allow them.)

"Yeah, just a bit surprised is all."

Kakashi thought to himself, unwilling to take away Tsunade's amusement. He was, in fact, stunned by suddenly being named Hokage, but this reward took the cake.

"Well, I'm glad I could surprise you for once; it feels refreshing."

Tsunade beamed like she won a lifetime supply of sake, Kakashi only feeling slightly guilty, but nodding along nonetheless.

"So, what am I supposed to do? I imagine I'd have to go see some people?"

Kakashi changed the subject.

Tsunade dug in between her cleavage, Karin covering Naruto's eyes as Kushina did the same to Minato.

"Aha, there it is."

Tsunade pulled out a full-sized envelope with her stamp as the Hokage on the front.

"You'll hand this to the Master Seamstress's granddaughter; she'll be the one checking and handling all the paperwork and keeping her grandmother on track. Madam Matsu has hand-sewn every Hokage cloak since the 1st Hokage. She's up there in age, but she's very good at her job, just… a bit slow."

Tsunade chuckled helplessly, remembering how long it took Madam Matsu to measure her. The old woman kept forgetting the numbers, constantly putting the measuring tape in the wrong places and loudly complaining that Tsunade's massive chest would use up way too much fabric, before squinting up at her and asking if they had grown since her last outfit. Tsunade had nearly snapped a dozen times, heavily suspecting the old woman was playing around at her expense. She was incredibly sharp for her age, and a quick, light probe of medical chakra confirmed that the seamstress wasn't suffering from anything other than old age.

"And you'll need to visit the Master Mason of the Hokage Monument, Kenzan, so that he can properly make your stone face. Unlike Madam Matsu, Kenzan isn't that old and is much faster, and in my opinion, much better than whoever did the stone face for My Grandfather."

Tsunade laughed, thinking about how depressed her Grandfather would be to hear her say that, but she wouldn't sugarcoat it if he were here either; his stone face was laughably bad.

"Madam Matsu and Master Kenzan will take good care of you, Kakashi; they did the stone face and cloak for Tsunade and me after all."

Minato assured him, not wanting his student to be nervous that his cloak or stone face would end up looking horrible.

Kakashi waved it off, not nervous at all, his mind still somewhat elsewhere as he thought about his new blood clone invention and how he could look through their eyes, making them the perfect use for the new dimension to make some inventions.

Tsunade pushed her chair back and stood up from the table, signaling it was time for her to head out. Pulled Sakura student into a tight, reassuring hug. Breaking away with a warm smile, she moved over to Naruto, wrapping her arms around him and offering a firm pat on his back.

Stepping past him, she stopped right beside Sasuke's chair. Before he could shift away, Tsunade reached out and gave his dark hair a thorough ruffle, leaving him looking thoroughly annoyed as she moved right along. She then wrapped Karin in a brief, warm embrace before doing the same for Kushina, the two women sharing a quiet look of mutual respect. After that, Tsunade stepped up to Minato and extended her hand for a firm, respectful handshake.

Finally, she stopped in front of Kakashi, locking eyes with the newly appointed leader. "Take care of things here, Lord Hokage," Tsunade said with a parting smirk.

With a quick sequence of hand seals, she slammed her palm down against the wooden floorboards. In a small puff of white smoke, a tiny, blue-and-white slug materialized on the ground.

"Lady Tsunade," Katsuyu greeted softly, her voice echoing gently in the quiet room.

"I'm ready, Katsuyu," Tsunade replied, looking down at her summon with a sharp, determined grin. "Go ahead and reverse summon me to Shikkotsu Forest."

With one last wave to the group, Tsunade disappeared with a puff of smoke, the little Katsuyu having communicated with herself in Shikkotsu Forest before they were both pulled to the summon world.
