Chapter 43 - Chapter 43 – The Birth of Control

The merged entity did not move.

But everything around it did.

Space twisted.

Time fractured.

Reality bent under its existence.

Its single eye locked onto Leo.

"…Complete…" it repeated.

Leo stood alone before it.

Calm.

Still.

But his aura—

Was different now.

No longer wild.

No longer divided.

Perfectly controlled.

Gold and crimson moved as one.

Not two forces.

One power.

---

The entity raised its hand.

And the world…

Collapsed.

The ground vanished.

The sky shattered.

Everything dissolved into a void-like space.

Only two things remained.

Leo.

And it.

---

"…So this is your domain," Leo said quietly.

The entity did not answer.

It attacked.

Instantly.

Its form stretched across space—

Reaching Leo from all directions at once.

No escape.

No blind spot.

---

Leo didn't move.

Not at first.

Then—

He stepped forward.

And everything stopped.

---

The entity froze mid-attack.

Its form locked in place.

Space stabilized.

Time resumed its flow.

But only around Leo.

---

"…What…" the entity's voice broke slightly.

"…Impossible…"

---

Leo raised his hand slowly.

"…You rely on distortion," he said.

"…But distortion needs instability."

A pause.

"…And I removed it."

---

The void around them began to change.

Not collapsing.

Not breaking.

Stabilizing.

Reforming.

Under Leo's control.

---

The entity struggled.

Its form cracking.

"…You are incomplete…" it said.

"…You cannot surpass origin…"

---

Leo's eyes glowed—

Gold and crimson blending into something deeper.

"…I don't need to surpass it," he replied.

"…I just need to control it."

---

He clenched his fist.

The entity's body twisted violently.

Not by force.

By law.

---

"…No…"

"…This… is wrong…"

---

Leo stepped closer.

Each step—

Reshaped the space itself.

"…You tried to become whole…"

"…By merging."

A pause.

"…But that's not true completion."

---

The entity's eye flickered.

"…Then what is…?"

---

Leo stopped in front of it.

"…Balance."

---

Silence.

Then—

Leo placed his hand forward.

Not attacking.

Touching.

---

The entity froze completely.

Its form stopped breaking.

Stopped resisting.

---

"…Feel it," Leo said quietly.

"…The difference."

---

The energy around them changed.

The chaotic distortion—

Began to calm.

The broken fragments—

Began to align.

---

The entity's voice weakened.

"…This… feeling…"

"…Stable…"

---

Leo's aura expanded slightly.

"…You're not wrong," he said.

"…Just incomplete."

---

For a moment—

Everything was still.

Then—

The entity's form began to collapse.

Not violently.

Peacefully.

Its massive body breaking into smaller fragments.

Each one glowing faintly.

---

"…Return…" it whispered.

Not demanding.

Accepting.

---

Leo closed his eyes.

"…Not to origin."

A pause.

"…To me."

---

The fragments moved.

Not forced.

Drawn.

---

They entered Leo's body.

One by one.

---

Light exploded outward.

But it didn't destroy.

It stabilized.

Everything.

---

The void shattered.

Reality returned.

The ground.

The sky.

The broken city.

All restored—

But changed.

---

Leo stood in the center.

Silent.

His aura completely calm.

But far deeper than before.

---

Luna ran toward him.

"Leo!"

He opened his eyes.

They were no longer just gold.

Or crimson.

Something beyond both.

"…It's done," he said quietly.

---

Ryu looked around.

"…That pressure… it's gone."

Kai blinked.

"…You're telling me you just… absorbed that thing?"

Milan stared at Leo.

"…No…"

"…He didn't absorb it."

A pause.

"…He completed it."

---

Silence fell.

Because they all felt it.

Leo was no longer just strong.

He was stable.

On a level that shouldn't exist.

---

Above them—

The cracks in the sky stopped spreading.

For the first time—

They paused.

---

Far beyond the multiverse—

The Ancient God watched.

Silent.

"…Balance…"

A pause.

"…So that is your path."

---

Another chain shattered.

But slower this time.

As if something was resisting.

---

Back in the world—

Leo looked at the sky.

At the watching eyes.

At the cracks that still remained.

His voice was calm.

Unshaken.

"…Come one by one…"

A pause.

"…Or all at once."

His aura pulsed once.

Reality trembled—

But did not break.

"…It won't change the result."

---

Far above—

The eyes blinked.

And for the first time—

They hesitated.
