"What?" I asked, frowning. Instinctively, I raised a hand to cup my neck on the side he pointed a shaky finger to. The moment my fingers brushed past the sensitive spark, I jolted, shivering slightly.
Shit. I had completely forgotten about the mark that was on my neck for the world to see. Gritting my teeth, I slapped my hand over it, trying to ignore the tingle that shot through my body — originating from the mark — as I did so.
"That!" Cedar exclaimed. He furrowed his eyebrows angrily. "Just because you've covered it doesn't mean that I will forget about it! Why are you marked?!"
I turned to look at Cassian slowly, raising an eyebrow. Truthfully, I was surprised that none of the three Alphas had told Cedar, especially considering the fact that Cedar was supposed to be their Beta. Even if Cedar suspected, or knew, that I was their fated mate, surely being marked would make things slightly different?
