Damian stared silently at the terrified priests before him. Then casually, he stretched one hand forward. The motion looked slow and lazy even yet the instant his fingers spread apart—
BOOOOM!!!
A violent sonic boom erupted behind Damian as the golden fortress shattered apart from the inside like fragile glass struck by a cannonball.
Massive chunks of divine walls burst outward in every direction while holy light scattered violently across the forest. For one brief moment, everything seemed to pause. Even the guardian angels froze.
Damian vanished instantly. One second he still stood inside the fortress and the next he was already standing before the priests.
No one saw him move. The sheer speed completely surpassed what their minds could process.
Damian calmly stood before a bald priest whose eyes had widened so much they nearly bulged from their sockets. Fear froze the man completely as he watched Damian casually raise his hand.
