Returning to Kurumi's residence, Kuesumi found Kurumi asleep. After helping her change into her pajamas and covering her with a blanket, Kuesumi left the house and went to a nearby music store.
She bought several albums by Yoi Tsukinoyo (stage name) and returned to listen to them.
"The voice and songs are good, but the Japanese English is a bit much to handle." After seeing this child at the stadium today, she discovered the pain in her heart. This was related to the abilities the Kabbalah Tree gave Kuesumi; the crescent moon on her forehead allowed her to explore others' inner thoughts and memories without them noticing.
She could also control people, which was essentially a simplified version of 'mind control'. Moreover, each Sephirah on the Kabbalah Tree had a portion of power flowing into Kuesumi's body. It hasn't been activated yet, but once it is, the adorable Mayuri will be born! Kuesumi isn't aware of these things yet.
"It seems like trying to heal this child's inner pain might be a bit troublesome!" Kuesumi looked at Miku, who was smiling brightly on the CD, and sighed softly.
"You're awake!" Kuesumi said to Kurumi, who was hugging her from behind.
"Honestly, darling, having me isn't enough; you're already thinking of flirting again!" Kurumi rubbed against Kuesumi's back, pouting.
"Is this child a Spirit too?" Kurumi saw that Kuesumi hadn't answered her for a while, so she picked up the CD on the table and examined it.
"She's a beauty!" The conclusion she drew almost made Kuesumi spit out a mouthful of soda. Is that all you noticed?
While Kuesumi and Kurumi were living their daily lives, on the other side...
Shido was extremely depressed. Not only was he not favored by Kuesumi, but he was also knocked unconscious. However, that wasn't the reason for his depression. He picked up the mirror and looked at the increasingly delicate person in it, sighing deeply.
"Why do I feel like I'm becoming more feminine lately?" Shido touched his hair, which had already grown down his back, and wondered. He hadn't taken any estrogen! What was going on! Lately, his little brother seemed to have shrunk a bit; was it his imagination?
"Shido, Shido! Let's eat pizza together!" Tohka happily ran up to Shido, pulling his arm and pouting.
"Didn't we just eat it yesterday?" Shido looked helplessly at the foodie in front of him. He still vividly remembered her gorging herself yesterday.
"Yesterday we had beef, chicken, and vegetable pizza. Today, we're going to have seafood and crayfish! Oh, and the mantis shrimp flavor that the owner highly recommended..." Tohka drooled, thinking about yesterday's pizza.
"Alright, alright! Let's go!" Shido helplessly gave in to the foodie, pulling Tohka out of the house.
After the two happily finished eating at the restaurant, they prepared to go home.
"Woooosh Woooosh" The loud spatial alarm sounded again.
"Tohka, you go to the shelter first. I'll be right back!" Shido skillfully arranged for Tohka to leave, then found an uninhabited place to await teleportation.
"Be careful, Shido!" Tohka looked worriedly at Shido's receding back, but being kind, she still decided to follow Shido's instructions and go to the air-raid shelter.
"Have you finally arrived, my brother?" The scene in front of Shido flashed, and he found himself on the battleship in the sky. Seeing the familiar red hair, Shido breathed a sigh of relief.
"Who appeared this time?" Shido looked at the large crater on the screen; dust was everywhere, making it impossible to see inside.
"Spirit power fluctuation comparison: it's Hermit," reported a tall, straight girl below.
"Where is the AST?" Kotori continued to give orders.
"They will make contact with Hermit in one minute."
"They arrived quite quickly. It seems I'll need to find some time." Kotori narrowed her eyes, surprised by the AST's speed. It seemed she would need to find time to intervene in the battle and seal the Spirit.
"Uh! Idiot Nii-chan, did you spray perfume? Or were you messing around with some woman outside?" Suddenly, Kotori smelled a faint lily scent on Shido and angrily asked.
"No way! Don't make wild guesses, okay? Tohka alone is already giving me a headache!" Shido said, feeling wronged. Was this still his cute little sister? If there was a god, he would definitely grab the god by the neck and make Kotori turn back into his cute little sister!
"Uh! Warui (I'm sorry), then please do your best today, Onii-chan!" Kotori smiled cutely at Shido, then observed the battle.
Seeing Yoshino hide in the department store, Kotori's eyes lit up.
"Are you ready, Nii-chan?" Kotori asked Shido.
"Uh~ Ah, I can go anytime." Shido nodded and said.
"Then, let's begin our date (war)!" A confident smile flashed across Kotori's face as she teleported Shido into the department store.
"Everything is up to you, Nii-chan." Kotori prayed inwardly, watching Shido's figure diligently searching for Yoshino on the screen. By the way, her brother had been a bit different lately. What was going on! Never mind, as long as no one dies.
Reine looked at Shido's back, momentarily speechless. Now was not the time for her plan. Her eyes were a little dazed; after all, she had cultivated for over thirty years. Her face was full of an ethereal aura, making her seem a bit clueless. Hmm! This older sister is very clueless, indeed.
