The camerawoman who had been resting suddenly woke up as the story resumed. She adjusted her camera, shook her head slightly, and signaled that she was ready.

In the Akita region, the Uzumaki clan was located there. In one of the red-themed Japanese houses, a red-haired woman sat outside near a tombstone. It was Karin Uzumaki.
Many years had passed since she had lost her mother, but the pain still lingered in her heart.
With a shaky voice she said, "Mom⦠I passed the exam."
She grabbed her phone and showed it to her mother's grave.
"You know, Mom⦠there was this big tunnel, like a portal. When you walked inside, the place felt like a different dimension. There was this old forest. It felt very real. There were also monsters that looked creepy, but I defeated some of them. And you know, there was also this weird thing I encountered in one of the places there. There were scattered foods that were absolutely not good anymore, just wasting away. And there was a refrigerator⦠even a wide-screen TV and many more appliances. And you know, there was this one monster that looked like a snake but with a human face. I used my chains to defeat it."
Karin continued talking about her experience during the survival examination. As she spoke, her eyes slowly turned red, and her once shaky voice became even more unstable.
She had promised herself she would not cry anymore, but she couldn't help it.
"It's okay now, Mom⦠I'm doing just fine. I'll finally be able to do what I want, so don't worry about me⦠I'm doing just fineā¦"
She was smiling even while her tears kept pouring down.
Karin knelt beside her mother's grave and began to weep. It felt as if her mother had heard her cries. A subtle wind passed through her red hair, and she felt as if two hands were gently holding her head. Then she felt a soft kiss on her forehead.
She didn't know what it was or how it happened, but one thing was certain.
Her mother was here, listening to her, always by her side.
She whispered softly, "Thank you, Mother⦠I missed youā¦"
Then she heard footsteps coming through the gate of her house.
When she sat up and turned her head, she saw herāthe one who had saved her from the miserable life she had once gone through.
Like Karin, her hair was red, though longer, and she was wearing an apron.
"Why Karin-chan crying again?" she asked.
Karin simply adjusted her glasses and wiped her tears.
The woman sat down to her level and said, "Missing your mother?"
Karin nodded.
Then the woman hugged her, pulling Karin into a warm embrace.
"It's alright. We both know she's always here watching over you."
Karin stayed quiet.
The woman knew what this girl had been through. The people who had tortured her and her mother had long been dead.
Their lives had not been spared. Even their blood relatives had been massacred and erased from this very world.
They had come to save her mother, but they were too late.
However, they managed to save Karin, who had been almost dying at that point.
The woman tightened her hug.
It wasn't her fault. This world is simply cruel.
But it's alright now. As long as I'm here, everything will be fine, she thought to herself.
Her eyes then noticed the phone lying near the grave. She saw the message on the screen and smiled.
"Karin-chan, congratulationsā¦"
Karin nodded again.
The woman smiled at her.
On the very top of a tree, a blonde man was staring at the two women kneeling on the ground.
His mind wondered why things had turned out like this, how things were supposed to be. The thought irritated him so much that his teeth ground together hard enough that they almost cracked.
He wanted to shout and scream, but if he did, his position might be noticed.
Too many nonsensical things kept happening, and he didn't want to believe any of it. Yet his eyes continued watching the two women.
He squinted while clicking his tongue.
Unbeknownst to him, his presence had already been detected.
The woman hugging Karin had already noticed him.
She sensed that someone was watching and spying on them. When she tried to identify who it was, she raised an eyebrow.
It was the same person she had seen before.
She studied him carefully, and then it struck her.
She had seen this kid before. It was when she was going to Karin's house. That strange kid had called her Mother.
That had shocked her at the time. She was still unmarried, so why the hell would someone call her mother?
The thought irritated her. She assumed it was just some brat mocking her age.
So she delivered a downward arch punch to his head, making him dizzy and collapse to the ground.
That had been their first encounter.
She had almost forgotten about it, yet somehow that same kid was spying on them again. She could feel his gaze following her.
She wanted to scold him, but she didn't want to leave Karin's side. So she remained where she was, her awareness raised to its highest level, ready for whatever might happen.
The blonde man continued staring at them while muttering to himself, yet he received no answer.
Inside his head he swore.
Fuck this⦠why is there no fucking answerā¦
Is it because this is different? Fuck⦠fuuuuck⦠whyā¦
Why won't it fucking answer⦠just fucking whyā¦
Is it because I haven't received it yet⦠or because that woman and I aren't connectedā¦
His eyes then landed on the woman.
Greed, lust, and hunger radiated from his gaze.
The woman immediately felt it.
She shouted toward the source of the hostility.
"Get the fuck out of here before I fucking crash that stupid skull of yours!"
She stared directly in his direction.
The blonde man saw the bitch's reaction. But he knew she would probably just throw another stupid punch instead of actually destroying his skull.
He scoffed.
Then he jumped down from the tree, shoved his hands into his pockets, and walked away.
He whispered to himself,
"Forget that stupid bitch. I know I have it⦠there must be some condition to meet firstā¦"
"Fuck⦠this bullshit is too much hassle. I wanted some bitches right now⦠fuck⦠but what the fuck is really going onā¦"
"Ugh⦠this bullshit world. Fuck itā¦"
Then he muttered again,
"Hey⦠I know you're there. Answer me⦠nowā¦"
But there was only silence.
"Fuck this shit⦠still pretendingā¦"
While he continued talking to himself like an idiot, he had no idea that the woman would truly do what she had threatened.
Yet he remained confident in his own deductions.
The woman had felt the malicious intent clearly. To her, it was a dangerous sign.
If necessary, she would absolutely crush his skull.
But the blonde man was still clinging to his own nonsense, completely unable to understand what was really going on.

Trivia..
Well while searching for more information....
Did you know that Luffy's Gear 5 Nika form was actually a style of Capoeira...
What the fuck....(ććć)
Capoeira influences Luffy's fighting style, specifically in his Gear 5th form, and this is partly due to the creator Eiichiro Oda stating that Luffy would be Brazilian in real life. The free-flowing, dance-like, and acrobatic nature of Capoeira perfectly matches the chaotic, rubbery, and joyful freedom of Gear 5th, which is also inspired by the mythical "Sun God Nika," often associated with Brazilian folkloric themes.
Like for real....
Brazilian Influence: Oda stated in a SBS (fan question segment) that if One Piece were set in the real world, Luffy would be Brazilian.
Gear 5 Inspiration: Animator Vincent Chansard confirmed that Capoeira was an inspiration for the fighting style in Luffy's Gear 5th transformation.
Cultural Fit: Capoeira, which originated among African slaves in Brazil, is known for its dance-like moves and fluid movement, echoing how Luffy moves in his highest form.
Mythological Themes: theorists have suggested that Gear 5th's, or Nika's, aesthetic, characterized by wild, rhythmic movement, draws from Brazilian folkloric figures like the Curupira.
While Luffy's primary fighting style is a mix of street-brawling, boxing, and rubber-based combat, the introduction of Gear 5th heavily incorporates the rhythmic, acrobatic, and fluid nature of the Brazilian martial art.
I think I'm wasn't a coincidence when someone criticized that...
Like what the odds right...?
And when you think about it.
The Historical Connection: "The Warrior of Liberation"
The most striking link is the shared role of liberating slaves.
Capoeira: Developed by enslaved Africans in Brazil, it was a "fight disguised as a dance." It allowed them to train for rebellion and self-defense against slave owners without being caught. It is literally the martial art of freeing slaves.
Luffy (Nika): Gear 5 is the awakening of the "Sun God Nika," a legendary figure known as the Warrior of Liberation. Just like the historical Capoeiristas, Nika is a mythic hero who traveled the world freeing slaves and bringing joy to the oppressed
The Visual & Physical Style
Luffy's movements in Gear 5 mimic the core philosophy of Capoeira:
The Ginga (Swaying): In Gear 5, Luffy is never still. He bounces, sways, and moves with a "rubber-like" fluidity. This mirrors the Ginga, the fundamental footwork of Capoeira that keeps a fighter unpredictable and in constant motion.
Acrobatic Combat: Capoeira uses cartwheels, handstands, and ground-based kicks to catch enemies off guard. Luffy's fight against Kaido featured this exact "playful" but lethal acrobatics, using his environment and body in ways that defy traditional martial arts.
The Smile and the Song: Capoeira is performed to the rhythm of the berimbau and drums. Similarly, Gear 5 is triggered by the "Drums of Liberation" (Luffy's heartbeat). Both the art form and the character emphasize fighting with a smile and finding joy in the struggle for freedom
Nationality: Luffy is "Brazilian"
Oda famously stated in an SBS (Question and Answer column) that if the Straw Hat Pirates existed in the real world, Luffy would be from Brazil.
Since Capoeira is the national martial art of Brazil and its most famous contribution to global fight culture, it makes perfect sense that Luffy's ultimate "free" form would draw from the history of that specific country.
Animation director Vincent Chansard, who worked on the One Piece anime, stated he drew inspiration from the Brazilian martial art Capoeira for Luffy's Gear 5th form. Chansard explained that he mixed this style into the animation to reflect a more fluid, flowing fighting style compared to Luffy's previous, more traditional boxing-based moves.
Who would have thought about that....
Damn..
