Chapter 149 - 149 TOKO N CHA

šŸ–•šŸ»( ̄ー ̄)AM N. NOT.

After the fight he had with Izuku, Bakugo hadn't seen him again.

But he was sure that piece of shit would get into UA. And when that happened, he'd finally show him who the fucking extra was… and who was the one beneath him.

Rage, betrayal, fury, and anger burned inside him. Just remembering that stupid face of that useless piece of shit made his blood boil.

His thoughts were suddenly cut off when his phone buzzed.

It vibrated against the table.

Bakugo picked it up and saw a message from UA.

He opened it.

It informed him that he had fucking passed and that he only needed to wait for UA to pick him up. He had one week to prepare before everything officially began.

Bakugo gritted his teeth.

Then he smirked.

"A useless piece of shit will always be useless," he muttered. "I'll show you where you fucking belong… you ant."

The two pieces of shit were now entangled with each other again.

But this time, the situation would be different.

Though honestly, who the hell cared about those two unless one of them suddenly turned out to be gay in the end. That would be a stupid plot twist.

Away from these two delusionals—

Tokoyami was resting inside his iconic dark room.

He was polishing the black sword he had just bought online. It was made of metal, a broad two-handled sword. Not very practical for real combat, but excellent for a collection.

He carefully cleaned the blade.

Ever since he met the tall man holding his weapon—the imposing and majestic sword—Tokoyami had felt a strange urge to do the same.

He had begun thinking about incorporating a sword with his shadow as a primary weapon.

His mind was filled with ideas.

Before, he only thought about how to control Dark Shadow. But now he understood something deeper.

The greatest enemy wasn't the shadow itself.

It was him.

His mindset had been too shallow. Too fragile.

If someone born from shadow was afraid of shadow… then the shadow would inevitably consume him.

He had been right.

Darkness lived within one's heart.

Tokoyami sank deeper into thought about what had happened during the examination. He had lost control again.

Was he afraid?

If he said no, he would be lying.

Yes. He was afraid of the shadow that kept trying to devour his consciousness.

But he realized something when he read the final question.

His answer hadn't been nonsense.

In this world, where anomalies existed, lives would inevitably be lost. When facing stronger enemies, what was there to fear?

Tokoyami lifted the black sword and held it in front of his face.

He tilted his head slightly to the side.

"Darkness fears light," he said quietly. "But shadow does not. The stronger the light… the stronger the shadow becomes."

The blade covered half of his falcon face as he stared directly at the cameraman.

His crimson eyes burned with conviction.

"I am shadow itsel—"

RIIIIIIIIIIIING.

Before he could finish his aesthetic declaration, his phone interrupted him.

Tokoyami grabbed it and saw a notification.

A message from UA.

He opened it.

He had passed.

He nodded slowly.

Then returned to his aesthetic pose.

The sword once again partially covered his face as he stared into the invisible camera.

"The shadows have finally gathered," Tokoyami declared dramatically. "And it shall be called… Shadow Garden."

"Hey, I'm hungry. Enough of this acting," Dark Shadow complained from beside him.

The camerawoman teleported once again.

This time the scene shifted to a cafeteria inside an expensive five-star hotel.

Two women were seated at a table in the far corner near a large glass wall overlooking the lively streets of Tokyo.

They were the Charlotte sisters.

Pudding and Smoothie.

They were here to try a new dessert they had discovered online.

Pudding wore a beautiful white long-sleeve shirt paired with blue shorts that reached the middle of her thighs, showing her soft white legs in full view. Her hair was still tied into two buns, while her bangs hid the third eye across her forehead.

Smoothie wore a loose pink jacket that slipped off one shoulder, revealing a white inner top beneath it. She wore black shorts that reached her upper thighs, exposing her long tanned legs.

Her white hair was tied in a single ponytail.

Her allure was on another level.

Smoothie was blessed with height, standing nearly two meters tall. Combined with a body shaped like a perfect S and those long legs, it wouldn't be a lie to say she was an absolute baddie.

Both sisters were currently tasting a dessert called Poire Ć  la Beaujolaise.

It was one of the most famous pear-based desserts.

The pear was peeled while leaving the stem intact, then simmered in red wine or spiced syrup until it became tender and brightly colored. It was served standing upright to show off its natural shape.

Both of them were dessert lovers.

Not just them either. Most of their sisters were the same, heavily influenced by their mother.

They had talked about this dessert during the final examination.

Today was a rare free day, so they decided to try it.

While they were eating, their phones buzzed at the same time.

Both of them raised an eyebrow.

They picked up their phones and read the messages.

Both were from UA.

Smoothie read hers first.

Enrollment Complete.

The selection process is over. Thousands applied, but only the elite remain. Admissions are now strictly closed, and you, Charlotte Smoothie, are part of the new era.

Pudding read hers as well.

Enrollment Complete.

The selection process is over. Thousands applied, but only the elite remain. Admissions are now strictly closed, and you, Charlotte Pudding, are part of the new era.

They both smiled.

Then casually turned their phones off.

"There's no class identified yet?" Pudding said. "Just telling us that we passed. Really… they intend to make it a surprise."

"Well, probably for some reason," Smoothie replied calmly. "Though we'll probably end up in Class S anyway."

"Really confident as ever, sis," Pudding said.

Then she suddenly remembered something.

"What class do you think that man will be in?"

Smoothie placed her fork down.

"Well, he's definitely strong. I could tell that much," she said. "Probably also S… if nothing strange happens."

"Probably," Pudding said thoughtfully. "But who would have thought a man like that would appear."

Smoothie glanced at her sister.

"Are you thinking the same thing I am?"

Pudding looked back at her.

"Naturally."

"But it could be a problem," Pudding continued. "If a man like that appears, it means he probably has a powerful background behind him. Especially if he managed to stay hidden this long."

Smoothie shook her head.

"You're already thinking about marriage at your age," she said. "You don't even know if he'd say yes."

Pudding pouted.

"What's wrong with my face? Aren't I cute?"

She blinked playfully.

But suddenly, unpleasant memories surfaced in her mind.

Her expression fell silent.

Smoothie noticed immediately. She knew exactly what her sister was remembering.

To change the atmosphere, she spoke again.

"What do you think Mother will do when she hears about this?"

Pudding's eyes lit up.

"Well she'll definitely…"

She paused.

"…definitely do everything to get him."

"Forcibly… or through marriage."

The sisters fell silent.

And who knew what thoughts were running through their minds.
