The time was around 19:00.

After Maki finished washing the mugs, it was already time for him to head back home and wait for the official announcement regarding the start of school.

Maki and Nemuri were escorted from the basement parking lot by Mei, Unohana, Isane, and Rangiku.

Just like before, Mei leaned forward and kissed Maki.

Unohana did the same. She kissed him as well—but unlike Mei, she bit down hard on his lips. The bite opened a small wound, and a few drops of blood flowed out. Unohana calmly licked it away, savoring the taste. Moments later, the wound healed completely as if it had never existed.

Isane and Rangiku watched the exchange clearly. A hint of jealousy stirred in their hearts, but neither dared to cross that boundary yet. Only time would tell.

Maki then hugged Isane and said goodbye. She simply nodded, hiding her flushed face as best as she could.

When he turned to Rangiku, he extended his hand for a polite shake.

But Rangiku ignored it completely.

Instead, she stepped forward and wrapped her arms around his waist, pressing herself against him in a firm embrace.

"Goodbye," she said softly.

Before she could enjoy the moment any longer, Mei grabbed her by the collar and pulled her away from him.

After their goodbyes, Maki stepped into Nemuri's car. As the vehicle slowly drove out of the basement, he waved at them through the window.

They stood there watching as the car disappeared from sight.

Silence fell between them.

Then Rangiku spoke with a teasing smile.

"Oh~ I didn't know Princess Mei and you, Unohana-sensei, would actually fall for the same man… and be okay with it."

Mei crossed her arms.

"Oh~ Matsumoto. Of course I have high standards—unlike you, who teases others so casually."

Rangiku placed a hand on her hip.

"What's wrong with being proud of my body?"

Meanwhile, Unohana and Isane quietly left the two of them behind and stepped into the elevator.

Mei clicked her tongue.

"Matsumoto, your standards are interesting. I've heard many men dream about you and even use your pictures to… relieve themselves. Tsk, tsk, tsk."

Rangiku smirked.

"Look who's talking. Aren't you the same?"

Then she added casually,

"This body only needs one man to satisfy it. And I think I found him."

Mei stared at her smiling face and laughed.

"Oh? Looks like someone is in heat tonight."

Rangiku shrugged lazily.

"Well… if he wanted, I'd do it right in front of him."

From inside the elevator, Isane's voice suddenly rang out.

"Hey! Stop with your vulgar words—we're already going up!"

Mei and Rangiku simply chuckled at each other before finally walking toward the elevator to join them.

Meanwhile, inside Nemuri's car.

As they drove away from UA, Maki sat quietly in the passenger seat, deep in thought.

His mind was completely focused on the structure and layout of the place he wanted to build.

He remembered the shape of it clearly—though the interior was still vague in his mind.

Who wouldn't dream of something like that, especially when you were born near the sea?

When he was young, he and his friends used to imagine endless stories about the ocean. Tales of the Kraken rising from the depths, or the Loch Ness monster hiding far below the dark waters.

And of course… ships.

Ships had always been part of those dreams.

Now Maki was trying to remember exactly what that ship looked like. He wanted to recreate it and turn it into his own personal crib.

He knew he could do it.

He had already built a house once using only his imagination. Even Hashirama-unc... could create moving dragons and massive statues. Compared to that, this should be possible.

He just needed to picture it clearly inside his mind.

Maki focused harder.

Beside him, Nemuri occasionally glanced at him while driving.

Ever since they talked about his future sea crib, he had fallen completely silent.

She could see how deeply he was concentrating, so she didn't interrupt.

Nemuri already knew that students would soon begin living in the dorms on UA Island. She had been planning to move into the teachers' dorms herself once Maki enrolled.

She was even preparing to move out of her condo.

But now that Maki planned to build his own place in the sea…

She would follow him there instead.

No matter what kind of place he created, she intended to stay by his side.

Just imagining the things they could do together there sent a pleasant shiver down her spine. A mixture of excitement and happiness filled her chest.

But when she remembered that other women might follow him as well…

Her thoughts spiraled into something far more complicated.

Nemuri slowly licked her lips.

Back at UA, Unohana and Isane finally returned to the teachers' dormitory. Isane was staying with Unohana for the time being.

Mei had already returned to her own room on the same floor. She was now packing some of her belongings.

She had already decided she was moving out.

There was no way she would let an opportunity like this slip away.

Rangiku, meanwhile, had returned to the right wing dormitory for students.

Her room was designed like a traditional Japanese house, with a warm and fresh atmosphere that made it feel cozy and peaceful. A large master-sized bed stood at the center of the room.

She lay on the bed wearing her sleeping clothes—a short white skirt and a white tank top.

Scrolling through her phone, she stopped at a picture she had taken earlier with Maki.

A gentle smile formed on her lips.

Rangiku had always been proud of her figure. She enjoyed teasing others with it, but she also knew her limits. She preserved herself carefully and never allowed men to treat her casually.

She wasn't the kind of woman someone could simply sleep with the way some people did with their loose friends.

But today…

Today she had met someone who truly caught her interest.

She zoomed in on Maki's picture with her fingers.

For a moment, she simply stared.

Completely mesmerized.

For once, she didn't feel the need to tease anyone.

Because what she was feeling right now…

Was perfectly clear.
