Chapter 76 - 76 WHO KNOWS?

The three walked out of the clinic room. Nemuri asked what happened to his hoodie, and he said it got wet.

"What about a spare?" she asked.

"Well, I have one in my storage."

"Then why aren't you wearing it? Are you seducing me?" she asked, brushing her fingers along his neck.

"Uhmm… well, you came into the room when I was about to change, and I'm still carrying you," he replied.

"That's right. Nemuri, let my husband rest. You're heavy like a bag of potatoes," Mei said.

"What did you say, you bitch?" Nemuri snapped, irritated.

"Let me down, Maki," she demanded.

He set her down on the floor. The moment her feet touched the ground, she rushed toward Mei, and the two resumed their rebuttals.

He simply watched the two cats arguing.

Then he opened his system and pressed the inventory icon. He scrolled down using his psyche connection—his mind navigating the interface. He couldn't do it physically with his fingers; otherwise, he would look crazy pointing at nothing.

Scrolling further, he found another set of clothes—a black long-sleeved shirt. He selected it, and it materialized in front of him. He put it on. It fit him perfectly.

The three then walked toward the academy's canteen.

Elsewhere, the others were occupied with their own matters.

Nezu was preparing something, reading a file he had just received.

After Unohana called Isane to follow her, Isane brought Nemu along.

Unohana asked Isane if she was happy now that she had a father.

But Isane didn't know whether she should be happy or not. First of all, he was the same age as her. Second, she didn't know what she should feel toward him.

Unohana studied her reaction and noticed her daughter had been blushing earlier—and even now.

She teased her. "Isane, don't tell me you've fallen in love with your stepfather."

Isane's mind went completely blank; even her eyes seemed to turn dark.

Nemu observed this and asked, "Unohana-sensei, is falling in love when your heart beats faster?"

Unohana looked at Nemu. "Nemu, don't tell me you all love my chosen man."

Nemu tilted her head slightly, and Unohana noticed the subtle smile on her lips.

"Hmm… Anata, it looks like you'll have to fight another freak father soon," Unohana murmured, smiling at the two women beside her.

Facing Maki had made her feel different. It was as if she had become a blank white canvas, waiting for him to paint over her. This time, she allowed it. She wanted to see for herself what it would be like to have a man in her life—not one who desired her for her power.

UA had a dedicated dormitory floor for teachers who wanted to stay on campus. It was located on the 47th floor, just below the 48th. The 47th floor was reserved for female teachers, with wide and spacious rooms like condo units. The 46th floor below was for male teachers, but it was mostly unused. Only Aizawa, who didn't even need a room, was forced to stay there alone.

He would rather crawl into his orange sleeping bag and sleep in his homeroom classroom—which was exactly what he was doing. So the male floor remained empty for now.

Unohana, Isane, and Nemu headed to the 47th floor, room 7.

The scene shifted to the chamber where new monitors supervised the examination.

Mabui was checking the name list. Present Mic was grilling barbecue while Aizawa slept in his orange cocoon. Yoruichi was bored, her thoughts drifting back to her encounter with him; every time she remembered it, she chuckled.

Nejire and Monet were the first to rest, while Konan, Soifon, and Black Maria remained on duty. It was clear in their eyes that they wanted the examination to end already.

Ibara had created a tent from her vine-like hair and slept peacefully inside.

Tashigi continued flying through the area using her smoke ability, gathering intel. Mila Rose had returned to her swamp hideout and continued her ambush attacks.

Meanwhile, Ulti found supplies—dried meat preserved in a cooler along with water, packed inside a suitcase-like box. She had no choice but to make do with what she found.

Karin played it safe this time. Instead of venturing far, she discovered a resting place inside a destroyed wooden house. Inside, she saw broken appliances and scattered ingredients, making her question what had happened there.

Riruka was the most relaxed. Inside her dollhouse, she lived as if in another dimension compared to the forest outside, able to have anything she wanted.

Mina built a bunker-like hideout to ensure her safety for the night. She had gained many points that day and was completely exhausted; rest was crucial to restore her energy.

Inside the Black Ribbon Chamber, each participant used their abilities creatively, applying them to survive the examination.

In another chamber, however, some seemed out of place.

The orange-haired guy smirked the entire time, his large sword resting on his shoulder. Another staggered around as if he owned the place, eyes sharp—every time he heard a rustle, his punch would extend outward. There was also the yellow-haired guy in an orange suit, panicking for some reason, forming hand signs repeatedly but with nothing happening. He kept muttering to himself.

Then there was the broccoli-haired dude, acting cocky after receiving a powerful ability—one that seemed like the power itself

Who knows.

And there was also that second-year student spying on some participants, especially the women, constantly looking down and moving his fingers like an idiot.

ヽ(´∀`●)ノAM N. NOT.
