In the field, Present Mic was shouting through his microphone, announcing that the test would continue and that everyone's points would remain the same.
"If you still want to partake in this exam, prepare yourselves! You all have one hour before going back in! For those who don't want to continue, raise your hand and form a straight line. We'll collect your black ribbons!"
Beside him stood Aizawa and Mabui, silently studying the participants. There were some real promising ones in this group.
After Present Mic's loud announcement, many hands went up—almost 321 participants.
Ben was one of them.
He had been humiliated in front of everyone, and he didn't even want to be here anymore. Most of those who raised their hands had low scores, ranging from 4 to 20 points. They knew their limits, so they gave up. Others simply didn't want to struggle anymore, or were too afraid to continue. Some hadn't found good spots or resources. Though they had been given food on the field, inside the chamber they didn't know what would happen next. So they chose to quit.
Staff members held white boxes where the participants dropped their black ribbons before exiting through the gates of UA, heading toward the parked buses lined up outside the island for transportation.
Around 500 participants remained.
Just like before, they followed the three monitors back into the forest, toward the tunnel and into the chamber. Meanwhile, Yoruichi contacted the five second-years to continue the rescue mission.
She was still wearing the black hoodie Maki had given her.
She waited on the field until she heard footsteps.
Nejire, Black Maria, Monet, Konan, and Soi Fon approached.
Yoruichi stood up. "Oh? Ladies, we meet again."
Konan nodded, though her eyes revealed something deeper beneath her calm expression.
Black Maria casually smoked her long kiseru, her gaze lingering on Yoruichi—or more specifically, on the black hoodie she was wearing.
Monet held a different book this time. The title read: I'm in Love with a Criminal. Why she was reading it—who knew?
Soi Fon looked at her sister, then rushed forward and hugged her tightly. As she leaned close, she caught that familiar scent—the same scent of that man.
Nejire hovered toward Yoruichi.
"Chi-chi… where is he? Is he alright? I wanted to see him. Is he in the chamber? Oh—you're still wearing that jacket—"
Her questions flowed endlessly, just like her Quirk—constant, surging, unstoppable.
The others simply smiled at Nejire's stream of unrelated questions.
They all proceeded toward the chamber together. As they hurried along, Yoruichi tried her best to answer Nejire's endless inquiries.
When she mentioned that he was going to participate, an unexpected gloom settled over them.
Even Konan, whose expression remained stoic, could not hide what flickered in her eyes.
Then Monet asked quietly, "Is he going to be disqualified?"
Yoruichi smirked. "How should I know?"
Her response only frustrated them further.
But when they thought about it logically, it seemed unlikely.
He was a unique existence—someone with three Authorities. And he was a man.
In this world, power scaling heavily favored women. Most men possessed weak Authorities. It was different, however, for those who held Authority over Genetics. Powerful men in history were almost always those who possessed that specific Authority.
Only around 2% of the male population gained strong Authorities over Akuma, Spiritual energy, or Chakra. They were rare. In this generation, the probability of such a man appearing was almost impossible.
That was why most of the top-ranked individuals were women with overwhelmingly strong Authorities. It was as if the Authorities themselves chose their wielders—and more often than not, they chose women.
Even childbirth reflected this imbalance. Most births resulted in baby girls.
Because of this, polygamy had become normalized in their world. But not just any man could be part of that structure. Nearly every powerful clan, family, or race selected strong mates carefully. Lineage was sacred to them.
As for how powerful bloodlines maintained their heritage across generations, there were preserved sperm donors from strong individuals. Through methods such as time-freeze biological preservation and other advanced techniques, their genetic material was stored.
However, something unusual happened when sperm entered the womb of a woman with significantly stronger Authority.
Inside her body, the embryo would adapt perfectly to her DNA.
It would replicate the mother's genetic code—completely, 100%.
Any trace of the sperm donor's DNA would be erased.
This phenomenon occurred when the woman's Authority surpassed that of the man.
And this process was called Gynogenesis.
( ・`ω・´)
Gynogenesis is a rare reproductive process where:
• A sperm enters the egg.
• The sperm triggers embryonic development.
• But the sperm's DNA is not used.
• The offspring carries only the mother's genetic material.
The sperm acts as a biological "on switch," but contributes no genes.
How It Works (Biologically)
In normal sexual reproduction:
• Egg (23 chromosomes) + Sperm (23 chromosomes) → Embryo (46 chromosomes)
In gynogenesis:
• The sperm penetrates the egg.
• The sperm nucleus is destroyed or inactivated.
• The egg restores its chromosome number by duplicating its own DNA.
• The embryo develops as a maternal genetic copy—or near-copy.

Trivia
I didn't made that shit up....
( `□´)
Where It Occurs
Gynogenesis is found in some:
Fish species
Amphibians
Invertebrates
One well-known example is the Amazon molly, a fish species that:
Requires sperm from a related species to activate reproduction
But passes on only female DNA
The result: entire populations that are essentially maternal clones.
