For some reason, Flint was starting to feel something was off. Suddenly, David called him in broad daylight, even though it was work time. David usually didn't like being disturbed during work hours. So, why was he suddenly calling him and threatening him? Moreover, David suddenly revealed that he had known about his plans all along. Was it time for him to just admit that he had evidence of David's past crimes?
Flint remained calm despite his predicament. He had expected this to happen. Luckily, he had planned ahead, so he wasn't afraid now. In fact, his smile widened.
"How about we sit down first? It's rude to keep guests standing."
David nodded, letting his guest sit on the sofa opposite him.
Flint smiled a sly smile, crossing his legs and looking at the luxury watch on his left wrist. "What do you want to talk about, exactly? I'm really busy."
"Has Lucas come to you before?"
"Why did you suddenly mention your assistant's name in the middle of our conversation?"
