Flint swallowed hard as he opened one of the audio recordings of his father's conversation with David before the murder. His eyes grew even more teary as he heard his father being slandered and pressured by David for the stadium accident, which was entirely his fault. Steven had already clarified that the building materials weren't what he ordered. David had secretly replaced them.
Ellen's father's name was also mentioned openly. While it sounded painful, Ellen was more concerned about Flint's current feelings. She gently patted his broad shoulder.
