Tough time going on for Veer and his colleagues.
Veer took a deep breath, trying to steady his racing thoughts. "Finally," he muttered to himself, the relief evident in his voice. "I get rid from those clones. I have to find Khushi and Shiven."
Meanwhile, Khushi was having problem to find Shiven. The weight of their situation pressed heavily on her. Karan is dead and no one knows it. The clone of Karan is already with Shiven, and a chilling uncertainty hung in the air—we don't know which Rahul is real, the one with Khushi or one with Shiven?
Suddenly, the eerie silence was shattered. A sound come, Krk.
Khushi froze, her eyes scanning the dim surroundings. "Did you listen that?" she whispered.
Rahul stepped forward, his expression determined. "Mam, I will see what is there," he said, checking his gear. "Just back up me."
The Creature in the Dark
Rahul head toward from where so at direction of sound, moving cautiously into the shadows, and Khushi backing him up. She kept her weapon ready, watching his every move.
When Rahul reached at the point, disaster struck without warning. A white clay-like thing cover his whole face. It writhed and pulsed against his skin, trying to suck his internal organs, just like happened with Karan.
Panic flared in Rahul's eyes as he choked against the mass. "Mm! Mm! He... he... help!" he gasped out.
Acting on pure instinct, Khushi shoots the white creature thing with its RS-01 at without hurting Rahul. The energy blast hit its mark perfectly. The creature gets away from Rahul's mouth, dissolving back into the darkness. But the damage was done; Rahul collapsed, gasping for air, and he is not able to speak. The blood started coming out of his mouth.
"Rahul! Run!" Khushi cried out, terror gripping her.
Rahul was in no shape to do anything because of the pain. Seeing that he couldn't move on his own, Khushi hold his hand and run away, dragging him along as they fled deeper into the facility.
Double Identity
While running, Khushi suddenly falls of Shiven, stumbling right into a hidden clearing. She looked up, brushing the dirt off herself, and Khushi see Shiven standing right there.
"Shiven! OH MY GOD, you are safe," Khushi breathed, a wave of relief washing over her.
Shiven looked at them, his eyes widening as he took in their disheveled appearance. "Khushi! How come you all here?" He looked down at the bleeding soldier, completely in shock. "Rahul! What is going on, the who is with me?!"
In that tense moment, everyone collided. Khushi, Rahul, and Rahul clone, Shiven, and Karan were all gathered in the same space, seeing each other with suspect. No one knew who to trust.
Khushi turned to the Shiven she had just run into. "Shiven! Prove you are real."
"I can prove it," Shiven stated firmly. Without hesitation, Shiven makes a cut in her finger and blood comes out. Shiven looked at the group defiantly. "See! Blood comes out. Clones blood does not comes out."
The second Rahul stepped forward, his eyes narrowing. "How can you say that?" He also makes a cut on his finger, drawing a blade quickly, and blood comes out.
The confusion in the room grew suffocating. Rahul, who was already injured, and one who was with Shiven were now suspected. To make matters even more terrifying, Karan's blood also comes out. Now everything gets messy; they cannot know who is real one.
Desperate for a breakthrough, Khushi looked at Shiven. "Tell about me! Anything you remember."
Shiven didn't hesitate. "How can I forgot about you?" she said, her voice softening. "Till now, I am lost in your memory. You know, we have studied in class from class 7th. I was new student, you helped me to settle in DAV Centenary Public School. And I will never forgot about my friend, and even your brother beated me for loving you."
Khushi's eyes filled with tears of recognition. "Yes! Ok, I believe you now. Let me tell about you—"
"Stop it, I believe you," Shiven interrupted gently. "I believe you from class 7th."
Khushi looked down, the emotions overwhelming her. "I'm sorry that I leave you," she said, emotionally saying it. "I have to leave you due to my studies."
"It's not time to talk like this," Shiven urged, snapping them back to the present danger. "We have to see who is the real Rahul, because the Rahul with you is real, he has to go to hospital."
Khushi nodded confidently. "Of course, the one with me is the real one, as..." She pointed a finger at the other clone. "Clone tries to kill him!"
Shiven gasped, turning around. "What! Then who was with me?"
The Final Stand
Before anyone could answer, the deception was broken. Then the 2nd Rahul suddenly start attacking, his movements violent and erratic. The attack goes to Shiven, catching her off guard. In the chaos, the Karan clone moved instantly, stepping in front of Shiven to shield her from the blow.
"Karan!" Shiven screamed.
Khushi didn't hesitate. She raised her weapon and shoot Rahul, and for 15 min the clones was dissolved Amidst the smoke and gunfire, Khushi and Shiven take Rahul and Karan, pulling them away from the danger zone.
Shiven knelt beside the fallen Karan clone, confusion and sorrow twisting her face. "Karan, why did you come in front of me?"
Karan smiled weakly, looking up at her. "It's ok, Sir! He shoot it on my hand, it will be ok. We have to take Rahul to hospital."
But their time was running out. Around them, the very fabric of their reality began to warp. The loop starts fading itself, the shimmering walls of the anomaly dissolving into thin air. Through the clearing fog, they can see the whole member of the headquarter coming toward them in a massive wave.
Realizing they were outnumbered, Khushi called out, screaming, "Come here!"
But it was too late. The forces against them were overwhelming. After the fight of 2 days, the fight was over, leaving the corridor silent and ruined. And this victory was not won by the ISA. It is won by the clones.
