When Gohan returned to his house, Chi-Chi and Videl had already stopped sparring.
The two women were sitting together outside the house, discussing ki control.
Chi-Chi was explaining patiently,
"I'm telling you, Videl, once your ki control becomes good enough, you can use ki for all kinds of daily tasks. Cleaning clothes, moving objects, carrying heavy things it makes life much easier."
Videl tilted her head in confusion.
"Then why don't you use it for laundry, Aunt Chi-Chi? Every time I come here, I see you washing clothes by hand."

"Gohan, can't you change it back? You look like some troublemaking delinquent now."
Her voice trembled slightly.
She had seen Goku transform before, but seeing her own son constantly walking around with bright golden hair still felt strange to her.
Gohan sighed helplessly.
"There it is again the blonde delinquent stereotype " he thought.
"I can change it back, Mom but I'm training right now and Once I'm finished, I'll return to normal."
Chi-Chi looked relieved.

Then Gohan quickly changed the subject.
"Enough about my hair tell me How's your ki training going?"

Hearing him Videl grinned proudly.
Meanwhile, Gohan reflected on the difference between them his mom Chi-Chi naturally had advantages.
When she was younger, she had trained under the teachings of the Turtle School through her connections to Master Roshi and Her father, Ox-King, was also a martial artist.

For the next several hours, he patiently taught Videl how to lift herself using ki and At the same time, he helped Chi-Chi improve her control over ki blasts.

Eventually, after making sure they understood the basics, Gohan stood up.

"I don't see Vegeta," Gohan said. "Did he already enter the Hyperbolic Time Chamber?"
"Yep," Yamcha replied.
"He rushed in not long ago. Krillin and I wanted to use it first, but Vegeta got there before us. Honestly, who's going to stop him ?"
Krillin shrugged helplessly.
as Gohan laughed and said .
"It's fine. A person can only use the chamber for two years total anyway. Vegeta already used one year before, so he'll definitely come out tomorrow. Then you guys can use it."
"True," Krillin agreed.
Master Roshi nodded as well.
"By the way, Gohan," Roshi asked, "why did you come here? Planning to use the chamber too?"
"If so, you can have our turn tomorrow," Yamcha added.
Gohan shook his head.
"No. I came to check on the Dragon Balls and I wanted to see whether Kami finished upgrading them."
"Oh!" Krillin suddenly remembered.
"They're inside."
He pointed toward the main hall.
Just then, Kami and Mr. Popo walked outside.
Mr. Popo was carrying a small dragon-shaped statue in both hands.
At first glance, it looked like an ordinary toy someone might buy from a store.
Gohan blinked.
"That's the upgraded Shenron?"
"Kami. Mr. Popo."
He greeted them politely as Kami smiled warmly.
"Gohan, you've arrived at the perfect time The Dragon Balls have been successfully upgraded, I was just about to reactivate them before calling everyone."
With a nod, Kami motioned for Mr. Popo to place the dragon statue in the center of the courtyard.
As Mr. Popo carefully set it down.
Kami then stepped forward and placed both hands above it and Soon, he began chanting in the Namekian language.
Nobody present could understand a single word.
Well almost nobody Except Gohan.
Because of the memories he inherited from Medas who had absorbed and accumulated Namakean knowledge, Gohan could actually understand Namekian now.
As the chant continued, a golden glow appeared around Kami's hands as The light grew brighter and brighter and Then it flowed into the dragon statue.
Suddenly BOOM!
As a brilliant white pillar of light erupted into the sky and The entire Lookout shook.
Moments later, seven glowing Dragon Balls burst from the light and shot across Earth in different directions.
Some flew toward the oceans, and Others disappeared into deserts while several vanished into forests and distant cities.
Within seconds, they were gone which mean's The Dragon Balls had been reactivated and At the same time, the dragon statue itself disappeared.
Gohan stepped forward.
"Kami, what exactly changed? and How much stronger is Shenron now?"
"And what are his limits?"
Kami stroked his beard thoughtfully.
"He now grants two wishes instead of one."
Everyone's eyes widened.
"Two wishes?!" Krillin shouted.
"That's amazing!" Yamcha exclaimed.
Master Roshi nodded in approval.
Kami smiled.
"There's more like He can now revive multiple people with a single wish and He can resurrect the same person more than once and unlike before, a physical body is no longer required for resurrection."
For a moment, the entire courtyard fell silent.
"That's incredible!" Krillin said.
"Seriously amazing!" Yamcha added.
Even Master Roshi looked impressed as Gohan nodded thoughtfully because That's was a huge improvement.
Shenron was now much closer to Porunga's capabilities than before.
"Good," Gohan thought.
"As for Dende we'll see what happens in the future."
For now, these Dragon Balls were more than enough to protect Earth.
"Well, Gohan,Krillin, Yamcha, and Roshi. ," said Kami, "we should inform Piccolo and other who doesn't know that the old Dragon Balls are useless now. They're nothing more than ordinary stones, so they can be them away."
Gohan and other's nodded.
"Got it, Kami. I was actually heading to Bulma's place anyway. I'll collect the old Dragon Balls and get rid of them."
After saying goodbye to everyone at Kami's Lookout, Gohan jumped from the edge of the Lookout and flew toward West City.
Master Roshi watched him disappear into the distance and laughed.
"Haha! That boy is always in such a hurry."
A short time later, Gohan arrived at Capsule Corporation.
He entered Bulma's workshop and found her busy working on one of her inventions.
"Bulma," Gohan called out, "Kami finished upgrading the Dragon Balls. They've been reactivated."
Bulma looked up from her work.
"Already?"
"Yep. I was going to ask for the Dragon Radar, but honestly, I don't really need it. I can make one myself if necessary."
He shrugged.
"What I actually need are the old Dragon Balls. They're useless now."
Bulma nodded and disappeared into a storage room.
A few moments later, she returned carrying seven stone Dragon Balls.
She placed them on a table.
"Here."
Gohan picked one up and smiled.
"Yeah. They're completely inactive now."
Without wasting any more time, he left Capsule Corp.
Outside, he looked down at the advanced wrist watch which was whole planet compressed in to a watch . As a holographic map appeared above the watch, showing the locations of the newly upgraded Dragon Balls.
"This one's the closest," Gohan said "About three hundred meters away."
He shot into the sky.
Before leaving West City completely, he tossed the old stone Dragon Balls into a pile of ordinary rocks.
There was no reason to keep them anymore and Soon, he arrived above a vast ocean.
The hologram indicated the Dragon Ball was beneath the sea.
"Guess it's underwater."
Without hesitation, Gohan dove straight into the ocean.

Only West City rivaled its importance and Then the Androids came and their destruction reduced city to rubbles.
Entire districts became graveyards of concrete and steel and For years, the city remained a broken shell.
But after Shenron revived the victims, life had returned as Construction crews worked day and night.
New homes appeared everywhere like mushrooms after rain as Machines rumbled through the streets.
Families rebuilt their lives and People started smile again.
If they knew Shenron would restore everything within a week, many of them would probably have mixed feelings.

The large man wore dark sunglasses and thick gold chains, looking like a stereotypical gang leader.
