The rising sun tore through the blankets of clouds as it rose and the birds were awake once more and soaring through the skies.
An Alarm rings loudly as four boys were soundly asleep on their beds not minding the ringing alarm prompting them to have an expression of tiredness on their faces as they opened their eyes heavy with sleep.
"Ah, what's with the alarm Ava?" Daniel asked as his eyes were still heavy with sleep.
"What's the need for the alarm" Alex spoke as he yawned.
"Ah couldn't we just sleep a little longer" Levi said with a groan as he struggled with sleep.
"Just a little more won't hurt right?" Zack spoke as he tried to leave his eyes open.
"Why didn't you wake us up earlier!!!!" Levi shouted.
"Yeah why wake us now!!!" Zack had jumped out of bed as they were all scrambling to have their bath and to get ready.
And the three turned to Alex with sharp looks on their faces
"What!" Alex said with guilt on his face
Because last night before they had gone to bed, Alex had decided to change the alarm time because he had suggested it because so they could get enough sleep but who had known he was going to set the damn time 20 minutes to their Assessment test.
With a hurry they all got into the bathroom as they were four bathrooms so everyone had one to himself. Five minutes later they are seen busting out of the bathroom as they were in a swift hurry, cleaning up their bodies in a haste and doing the needful.
Bringing out the carton boxes given to them, they all opened it as in it was a their uniform which was gold and white in color, the shirt was white and having gold linens, it was a long sleeve and the trouser was gold in color and by both sides of the trouser was a white line running from the waist all the way down the trouser.
Inside was a white blazer and a pair of pure black leather shoes, at the left chest side of the blazer were the pocket was meant to be was replaced by the insignia of Bright Gold Academy and the collar of the blazer was gold and a black tie.
Everyone hurriedly dressed up as the clock was ticking, sliding their Student identity cards and Smartphones into their pocket, because as of yesterday Ava had synchronized itself into their smartphones.
"Alex what the hell were you thinking" Daniel asked as a vein pooped on his head as they walked towards their room door in haste.
"I didn't know the Assessment was going to start by 8:20 am" Alex said with an embarrassed expression on his face.
"Forget about that, the main issue is getting there on time" Zack said.
"The assessment is taking place at the Golden square that's like a 15-minute walk" Levi said with an expression of helplessness when everyone heard this, they all had the same expressions.
"Am going kiss goodbye to my Free merit points" Alex said with a sulk
"Forget about that now, the point now is getting there one way or the other" Zack spoke to them as the door before them slid open and as they were about to step out then Ava suddenly spoke form Zack's Phone as it has integrated itself into their smartphones.
"Why didn't say it beforehand" they all said in a chorus.

They were all speechless, For Zack, first it was a damn annoying system and now a really damn Al what could get worse than this.
The hoverboards had a sleek design as the hoverboard was constructed in an arc shape with the front pointed out and the hover board had boosters as the outline of the hoverboards were designed with neon lights and the hoverboards were of four colors as they were four in number. The first one was black in color, the second was blue in color the next was red in color and the last was green.
"You got to be kidding me, are those the new Gx drought Hoverboards" Alex said in surprise as he stared with his jaw agape, hoverboards although already invented in this era, was something the rich and well to do people could afford as these things were expensive.
But right before Alex were hoverboards made for each of them.
"that's what am talking about, am going for the black" Levi said with a grin
"Am going for the blue"
"Am taking the red" Daniel and Zack spoke as the green was left for Alex and everyone hurriedly took their own and turning them on as the hoverboard recognized their owners and the hoverboards hover gently above the ground and the hoverboards were wide in width.
"Well I have never rode a hover board before" Alex said with embarrassment as he covered his face with his hand.
"Thank you, Ava," He thanked the Al gratefully.
Climbing on their hoverboards as they adapted once except from Alex who had a hard time standing on his hoverboard and then with a silent hum the hoverboards came to life and off they went as their room door closed behind them.
Zooming through the hallways on hoverboards were the four as the speed of the hoverboards increased.
Two male students came out of their room as they were on causal clothes and just at that moment four hoverboards zoomed past them.
"Looks like some freshmen don't wanna miss their free Merit points" one of them said with a chuckle.
Exiting the Dorm, they increased the speed of the hoverboards with the help of Ava and going as they exited the platinum dorm premises in a hurry.
Riding above the pathways of the academy on their hoverboard was the four, Zack, Levi and Daniel rode their hoverboards like experts while Alex on the other hand, well..., he was having difficulty riding his as Ava had to reduce his speed.
The wind blew as their hairs fluttered in the wind as they soared through the Academy on their hoverboards as Ava had helped them find a shorter route and giving them a map of the academy.
"We got five more minutes before the Assessment starts" Daniel said aloud as he glanced at his smartwatch.
"Then we go faster" Zack said with a grin.
"Alright then, boosters forward" Levi said with a smirk
"Hey guys slow down, you know am not good with this" Alex yelled from behind as his speed was slow.
The three guys turned back their heads and looked at Alex as they stared daggers at him.
"Well if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have to be in such hurry" Zack said aloud to him.

A freshman runs as he was going to be late for the assessment and then four hoverboards zoomed past over him as they were headed in the same direction.
"Damn they must be from the platinum tier dorm, that's why they have hoverboards, how wish we gold tiers had such treatment, ah damn it sucks!!" the freshman student said in frustration as he increased his pace.
In a huge square surrounded by buildings and there was a huge golden statue in the center of the square and hundreds of new students stood before a huge podium and behind the podium was a stage like structure with a roof above it and seated were men and women who were teachers and instructors in the academy.
A man climbed the podium as he stood before the crowd of new students with expectation in their eyes and at that moment Zack and the boys arrived right on time and catching the attention of some students at the back
Jumping down from their hoverboard was Zack, Levi, Daniel and Alex as the hoverboards entered into sleep mode but hovering gently above the ground where they were parked and the boys making their way through the sea of students as they wanted to get a better view.
Finally, they found an elevated platform and stood on it as they could see the podium and the man that was about to begin a speech.
"Phew, right on time" Daniel said as he released a sigh of relief.
"We made it just on time" Zack released a breath as he spoke.
"My sweet merit points here I am" Alex said with an expression of gratitude on this face
"It's about to begin" Levi pointed towards the podium as the man was ready to give his speech, the man had a short brown curly hair and deep grey eyes and having a little mustache and beard, he wore a white shirt with a white coat on top which had furs at the collars, he wore a black jean trouser and a pair of white shoes.
The man's eyes swept through the crowd of freshmen as they were intimidating as they held seriousness in them and he having a well-built body as it could be seen from his body outline in his cloth.
"what a beautiful day isn't it?" the man started off his speech with these first words as his voice boomed loudly, he held no microphone in his hand but there was a little mic mounted on his cloth, and his first words got so many new students confused.
"Well this is new" Alex was surprised.
"I agree with you" Levi nodded.
"It's a beautiful day for you all to be able to stand within these grounds of Bright Gold academy, because so many dreamed of this chance but never got it and here you are, standing in golden square in Bright Gold academy a place where many had stood over the years that had come and gone, even after you there will be many to come and still stand in this same place you all stood today for your assessment.
Five hundred ago as we all know it, a disaster befell the world and all of humanity that changed the human history and everything we had ever known all because of a single energy, Bane energy! This energy was the cause of the disasters that struck after wards but who would have thought that this same energy will be our very liberation from a catastrophe that would have wiped humanity out and that was when we humans began to awaken abilities and from the very first awakening more people began to awaken afterwards.
We saw a ray of hope to fight back and take back our world invaded by out worldly creatures who came from the gates and portals to unleash hell and destruction upon mankind, but we stood strong and never faltered despite our losses and the sacrifice we had to make and then academies were constructed little by little and bright gold was among the very first few academies for abilitans which sprang up during the era of chaos were survival was crucial. There at the center we have the statue of the founder the academy, Mr. Bright Altos" the man pointed to the golden standing majestically at the center of the square as everyone turned their eyes towards the stature.
The statue was made entirely of gold and the stature stood in a pose, pointing its sword towards the sky and the golden sword gleaming under the sunlight as the tip of the sword reflected the sun light, details on the stature told one that this masterpiece was something to respect.
Then the man continued his speech.
"After much struggle of the founder and those around him, the academy grew rapidly and has now grown into what it is today. After much sacrifice and after 150 years of fighting endlessly as their era was the post-apocalyptic era, after so much paid by humanity we came out on top in the end" the man paused and then he continued.
"But even after that bitter sweet victory, this gates and portals keep appearing till now, out there beyond the walls lies the tale and testament of what humanity went through, and now here you are an abilitan and you all choose Bright Gold academy as your path, well today we officially welcome you all to Bright Gold academy, as you all officially become students of Bright Gold academy!!!" the man said with a grin as his voice boomed loudly than before and the entire place erupted into cheers and claps.
"What a long boring speech" Levi yawned
"That's more like it" Said Zack with a grin as this was the path he had chosen.
"Alright everyone, the assessment is about to start, the purpose of this is to reassess your abilities and create a database for you. So, everyone the assessment begins now, once your name is called, step up to the podium quickly" the man said with smile then in an instant his body somehow glitched then he disappeared in the blink of an eye from the spot he stood and reappeared at the stage like platform and took his seat among the other instructors of bright gold academy and they were gasps in the crowd of students as they were surprised to see a teleportation ability, one that was super rare.
"Talk more of putting on a show" speaking was a middle age man who seemed to be in his fifties and he wore a black suit which fitted him in every way perfectly, his black hair draped over his shoulders and his dark green eyes staring at the crowd of new students and he wore a pair of glasses.
The chair he was seated was the largest of all the seats there and his having designs carved on it with in depth details as the chair was white and gold in color.
His body pulsed with energy, unseen to the ordinary eyes except abilitans who have a keen sense would notice.
"Markus is good at his expertise when it comes to giving a speech to the new students and putting up something good for them to witness, thereby igniting their Zeal" speaking from his side was a young woman, she had a red curly hair which flowed down all the way to her waist and the front hair covering her forehead which looked like bangs.
She had light blue eyes with an alluring charm in them and plump red lips which gave her seductive look and a small pointed nose complementing her round face and her skin was fair and white.
She wore a white top which was a collar neck which was a short sleeve and she wore a silver necklace around her neck and her melons were, well…bigger than the average size and the white top doing its job of holding them in place, a feast for the eyes.
She wore a leather trouser fitting her perfectly as her curves were more visible to the eye and her curves was a dangerous one to look at and she wore a pair of black heels and a pair of gold round earrings and a wolf like creature rested in peace on her laps as she stroked it's fur gently, the wolf like creature which looked like a tiger had a white fur with black stripes.
"That's why if there is anybody who is capable of giving the new students a speech and a tip at the end, it would be Markus because his really good at hitting the students on the right spot with his speech" the man said to the woman with red curly hair.
"I guess so it is, I just hope I get to see some real talents today" she spoke as she stole glances at a young man who was asleep seated behind her but when her eyes catches sight of the woman sitting beside him, an expression of frustration came upon her face.
"Well let's sit and watch real talents show up since you all are here take a disciple" the middle-aged man wearing glasses spoke with a smile on his face as expectation was written boldly on his face.
