"Hmm? Where are you going, Luke?" Monica asked as she saw her son heading toward the door. The other two were there as well.
Luke gave a faint smile. "Gary mentioned something about a quest. I need to get the details from him."
Gustav huffed. "You just got back from a long journey. You should take it easy, son."
Monica nodded. "Yes, Luke. Overworking will only hurt you in the long run."
Caleb couldn't help but feel bitter. On one hand, people expected him to go out and earn money. On the other, this brat was being told to stay home and rest.
'Just what miracle happened that he changed so much?' The short man secretly narrowed his eyes at Luke.
Completely unbothered by the glance, Luke reassured his mother, "Don't worry, I'm taking care of myself properly. And this quest concerns the chief, so I'll see what it's about."
Monica was taken aback, while Gustav let out an appreciative "Hoh." The older man then added, "Good for you. Staying in the chief's sight will only help you."
