Dungeons, in fantasy story's and video games from what I could vaguely recall were places where one could go to look for loot to power themselves up, same could be said for me.
Luckily a Dungeon cavern could be loacted nearby my base around the area where I was found on the shore, so I decided to go there to check it out.
I only knew it was a dungeon because the map on the Paldeck said that's what it was and using the vague knowledge I could remember from before was that those places have loot.
Not only that but it could help level me up and now since I earned the Mercy ring no matter what I do to any Pals they won't be knocked out or even possibly die from my attacks.
But I was going this alone for the most part as Pals could still take out other Pals while in here so I made plenty crossbow bolts and Mega spheres, the only downside is that I didn't have anything for healing besides some food I had cooked up for myself that I kept in my inventory.
With everything set I decided to venture into my first dungeon and see what it was all about and it was dark, like really dark, but one of the many items I could make was a hip held lantern that I could use to see in the dark.
So a traveled down a long hall way for quite some time before I started to see light that began to filter in ahead as I saw a crack in the ceiling letting in a bit of sunlight and letting me see the entire cavern I was in.
I saw many large rock structures and I realized they were minerals like iron along with sulfer and coal and even massive Pallidium deposits for making Palspheres.
Seeing all this material naturally I pulled out my pickaxe and began to mine it out, though I only mined as much as I could carry in my inventory as there was a weight limit, I could go over it but my movement becomes hindered and if I'm more than 5 times over the weight limit I can't physically move at all.
Mind you I don't personally feel the weight of anything within my inventory but the system makes it seem like I'm to heavy to move.
Currently I could carry around 250lbs without issue so I only took what I needed which was mostly Pallidium and a bit of the other resources before I moved on forward deeper into the Dungeon.
*Bang! Bang! Bang!*
As I was going deeper into the cave I heard gunshots, "Gunshots? What the hell?" I couldn't help but exclaim, after all I thought only Pals would be located inside these dungeons.
So pulling out my cross bow I cautiously went forward as I began to see a light, but this light was from torches instead of natural light making me cautious as I stepped into the next cavern.
"And stay down you mangy piece of shit!" I heard one guy shout before slamming the door of a cage and locking a pal inside.
I saw that it was two men wearing dark clothes and what looked like combat gear on them though there faces were completely obscured by the hood and mask they were wearing.
"Think these ones will sell good on the Black Market?" One asked the other to which he shook his head.
"Unless we round up all these pals in this cave we won't get more than a few hundred gold." (Grunt 2)
"Ugh, this sucks, why can't we be in the more deeper areas so we can get more stronger pals to sell?" (Grunt 1)
"Don't you get it? Us newbies have to earn our keep before we can even think about hunting pals and looting other people of their stuff, we are lucky we even got this far now." They kept talking to each other but I knew that if I wanted to get further in here I needed to take them out.
So I got up close while hiding behind a boulder and peaked out to take aim at the closest grunt.
*Thwip! Thwack!*
The sound of the arrow whizzing through the air as it hits one of the grunts right in the skull and killing him instantly as he crumples to the ground.
"Shit!" The other Grunt freaked out before taking out his gun as he spotted me and began to shoot at me forcing me to hide behind the boulder and reload.
Chunks of the boulder scattered around me from the gunshots before they stopped as he ran out of Ammo and had to reload giving me the perfect chance to strike.
So coming out and taking aim I fired once more and my shot hit its mark making the grunt grab his impaled throat before collapsing to the ground.
Seeing as they were both dead I came over to grab there stuff which wasn't much with only their money and a few extra coarse bullets for me to grab as their weapons were in such poor condition they were falling apart as is making it not worth it to take them.
But I did find the keys for the cages which there was three and inside there was a Fuddler, a Mau and a Leezpunk.
I opened the cages and they smiled slightly but couldn't move due to their injuries so I found it best just to capture them in Palspheres.
They didn't struggle and came along with me willingly and so I caught three new pals before I kept on going deeper into the dungeon.
I found more pals along the way which I went to catch while dodging their attacks.
I even found a few treasure chests to loot which mainly had gold but some with advanced blueprints to make better versions of weapons and gear I could use.
And finally after seeing all the different rooms and finding what I was looking for I reached the last room, it was a massive room with a large tree in the center and under that tree was an Alpha Pal Foxsparks with two other Foxsparks beside it.
It looks like I'm gonna have a huge fight on my hands as I approached them with my crossbow ready for a fight….
But as I thought they were about to fight me they sniffed the air before circling around me and rubbing their bodies up against me which made me a bit confused.
But that confusion quickly cleared as the Alpha Foxsparks and the two smaller ones all turned their asses towards me and presented their puffy pussy's towards me looking eager to have sex.
Looks like I might have to go full on Feral this time for these pals before me.
