"Wait… what is that?" Back inside the Greyson Residence, a figure muttered, his gaze lifting to look into the horizon.
"You hear that too?" another murmured, brows furrowing across his face.
"The sound of rumbling."
The longer they stared, the clearer the outline became. Until they could finally see it.
A looming shadow at first. But soon, it became fully apparent.
Rows of figures charging close together, they almost gave the illusion of a shadow. And they were charging straight to the Greyson residence.
A deafening silence descended as all were star-struck by the sight. Before anyone could form a coherent thought, the skies darkened for a moment. And when they finally realized, it was already too late to react.
Swathes of arrows filled the air as they descended with a whooshing sound, before striking true.
